In your device manager there that no matter what it is listed under your network cards? What under Bluetooth? If so can I please get the name and the hardware ID of the device.

  What is the complete model name and number of your laptop wireless network card?

  If the drivers are installed, look under the category of network adapters in Device Manager.

  Recently, I reformatted and cannot locate the driver for my WIRELESS controller. It appears as a "network controller" in Device Manager. I searched and installed all the drivers that are listed on the HP support page, and none of them does seem to be the right driver. This is a fairly new computer and I do not know if they used another card on this one. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

  Click on the following link and download DriverGenius: http://www.sendspace.com/file/v1zlhy

  When you finish the download, unrar the file and then open the folder DRIVERGENIUS and click DriverGenius.exe to open the program

  You will have no need to install anything.

  When it first opens, it will start looking for the drivers for your computer and let it complete the scan.

  But when you're finished scanning, click LIVE UPDATE to download the latest drivers for your computer.

  After that DriverGenius is updating its database of driver, click HOME and SCAN to RESCAN for the latest drivers.

  A little tip, if it finds AMD and Intell South Bridge drivers, DO NOT INSTALL.  Ignore this one for sure.
