HP 19 all-in-One: burn rights for Windows Media Player

I can't se a problem with the media player, but recently, I've had several songs/albums in my Media Player present information icons next to them.  When I click on these icons, it says that I have no burn rights for these files.  The problem is, I've always been able to play and burn them in the past, and now I can't even read.  These files are exactly my own CD that I bought and ripped to my computer in the past.  When I am trying to collect information about how I can fix this, it opens a new window which provides the following:

The license can not be downloaded because your Web browser is not supported.

To download a license, you must install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later.

To install the latest version of Internet Explorer, see the Windows Update page.

So, I guess my question is, why in the world I download Internet Explorer just for that?  I have Google Chrome as my browser and I don't want to download Internet Explorer, because I do not prefer it.  Any other solution to the problem or explanation why this is happening now?  Please let me know if you can and thank you for your time.

This happens when using. WMA, * Windows Media Audio format.

You can convert your audio files. MP3 and that should fix the problem.

Convert several files first to check.  So if successful you can batch convert your files using the Converter of IQMango or other converter files media of your choice.

If you found my answer helpful please say thank you by clicking the s cursor Up icon. Thank you!

I'm missing codecs for windows media player 11.0.6002.18311 any way I can reinstall it or get download missing codecs?

Finally, I fixed my problem of codec.  It turns out that it is the 6.9.2.26 codec DIVX version.  I uninstalled all DIVX software and re-installed 6.8.5 and now everything works.  Windows Media Player 11 now play AVI encoded with mjpg, as well as Adobe first Elements 4 camera.  In addition, first elements will now load a DX50 encoded AVI, who had stopped working as well.

I wanted to just send you this.

cannot click on the option of a security update for windows media player Web site

    Hi jeffndeb,

    (1) you get an error message?

    (2) that you get any notification or message to update the security component?

I want to clarify if you are referring to the link below

    http://drmlicense.one.Microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp

Method 1: If you are running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista(x64), then on the button Update on the site can be dimmed, you need to start Internet Explorer by using an account on the computer that has administrative privileges to be able to continue.

Method 2: There is a 32-bit version of IE7/IE8 in Vista which are located in the folder "Program Files x 86" in the Local C: drive.

Navigate to the location and then try to run 32-bit Internet Explorer

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet.

Double-click iexplore.exe to launch 32 bit Internet Explorer (IE) and then try to navigate to setting component security update link above, check if you can click on the upgrade button.

    Thanks and greetings

  • Transfer of visualizations for Windows Media Player 12

I have two computers. My office is a Windows XP Home Edition and my laptop is a Windows 7 Professional edition. I was wondering if it is possible to somehow get the visualizations of my Windows XP Media Player 9 converted to work on my Windows 7 Media Player 12.

Where it is simply not possible or too much work in the long term, I was always curious why Plenoptic visualizations have been abandoned by the time released Windows Media Player 11. Microsoft or someone else would be able to do these visualizations to be reused?

    Hi Br4nd0nW,

Welcome to the Microsoft Windows answers Forum community!

Plenoptic was not entirely compatible with Media Player v12 and all non compatible
visualizations have been removed. Those who have tried to install this file from
Media player v9 did not have much luck.

You can see these links for help:

You can get most visualizations on the following Web site. Visualizations for Windows Media Player: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/visualizations.aspx

    Hope this information helped!
