  • 2000-2b22DX HP: HP 2000-2b22DX Ram Upgrade

Recently, I encountered some problems with my laptop. I have accumulated a few programs of work (I'm a designer and a musician for hobby) so the tear begins to take a toll.

First of all, I want to know how can I upgrade Ram. I looked in the next page for the specifications of my computer, however, information seems to lack full development for my knowledge with computer hardware.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03562727

It says that I have a '4 GB memory DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM)"memory with slots available to the user '2' and a 'maximum supported = 8 GB" memory. What I don't seem to understand is if it means I can have:

    (2) 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) - either two 4 GB sticks, for a total of up to 8GB [total] max.

    OR

    (2) 8GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) - either two 8 GB sticks, for a total of up to 8GB max [per slot].

If someone could help to clarify with this information, that would be greatly appreciated.

Provided that other improvements go, with the processor, I found another thread that contained the information as I needed.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

This means that you can add a stick more than 4 GB to the second slot to make max 8Gb. Please use the SAME brand and features of the existing key, or please use the following site to scan your machine. It will tell you exactly what you need and where to buy, or you can also use the information to buy elsewhere:

  • HP 2000-2b19wm video ram Allocation

You have a question about the amount of video memory allocated on this laptop. In the production specifications, he said "AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class graphics with up to 1972 MB total graphics memory" Accoring to system properties (if you do the math) 409,6 MB ram is allocated to video. If I read this correctly, I could allocate 1.9 GB of ram to the video card. So guess the question is, how can I I do? Or if the system allocates video ram necessary?

Any help to solve this mystery would be greatly appreciated.

The link to the page of the product specification is lower.

    Hello bfldworker,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I read your post about how you look to allocate more memory for the graphics card to your laptop, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

According to the Specifications of HP 2000 - 2b19WM Notebook PC product, your dedicated graphics processor card will automatically allocate as much RAM as you need for the program that you are running. For example, if you surf on a web browser, you can use that with a few MBs of the video card. If you run a high-end gaming, you might almost be the maximum (1972MB).

    I hope this helps!

  • HP 2000-2b19WM Notebook PC: Bios of HP 2000-2b19WM without mapping new ram

Hi guys Im new to the forum and looked for help on my problem, but came away empty-handed. Im hoping some of you experts can help. The problem im having is bios for my new ram card. When I get to the main Bios screen, most of the options are grayed out. Should I just try a 8gig vs 2 x 4?

So what to do im (or trying to) is a simple ram upgrade. Here's the skinny:

    Windows 8-64-bit OS (official)
Ranging from 4 GB to 8 GB ram
    New bios update
    Msconfig memory max decliques
BIOS will not remap or give me the option to remap
Location of the bottom only (see) memory
Tried the chips on the location of the bottom, both work individually but if I sit two I get a blank screen and W8 does not load.

Only one user (me) as an administrator.

Here is the ram I bought from newegg

    Thanks in advance!

I'm afraid, it seems that you have a bad memory slot that is a bad mother. You did a good job of troubleshooting logically. If either module market in a slot, then it is not compatibility it must be the slot.

  • 2121TU HP 2000 - RAM upgrade

I am currently runinng on stock card and do not want to upgrade a lot on that laptop it is mainly for the office. This laptop comes with a 2 GB memory DDR3 (1600 MHZ according to the manufacturer's Web site) and is painfully slow with about 3 to 4 desktop and software data properitary running applications.

I had problems on my other PC where I upgraded the RAM and the frequency shift caused a too much trouble.

Please suggest what RAM (upgrade is the best for this laptop) - preferably a 8 GB / I intend to take this worthless 2GB. Also isn't need to be two-way - but I can give it a glance.

  • Satellite R630-13F - RAM upgrade

    Hi all

My R630 is faced with a newly added software for Photoshop (CS5 version). Whenever it is quite slow to open and try to merge the picture for the economy.

I was wondering if I can upgrade the RAM. With a very limited knowledge, I would like to know if I need to buy an additional (if there is a vacancy for it), or I need to get one to replace the old.

I think increasing the memory to 4 GB, but I was wondering if it will be enough for Photoshop. Thanks a lot for any input.

    Best wishes

    Tim

    Hey Buddy,

RAM upgrade is not a problem because it is easy and can be done in a few minutes.

Satellite R630 has Intel HM55 chipset, and the maximum capacity is 8 GB. This means that you can install 4GB module in each memory location. Also an upgrade to 4 GB is not a problem, you can keep your 2 GB module and just buy a new 2 GB module. The module DDR3-10066 part number is PA3676U-1M2G.

If you have more questions just after, again :)

For the RAM upgrade, you can use follow RAM modules:

  • Satellite 3000 - X 4: Question about RAM upgrade

    Hi all

I'm looking for more information on how to upgrade the RAM for my SATELLITE S3000 - X 4 (120 MB RAM, 14 GB HD I think!). Here's a little history...

This laptop is about 5 years old, and I'm hoping to speed up a bit. I don't want to buy a new computer because she usually serves my needs.

I emptied my hard drive files and unwanted programs. And I ran Jv16 Power Tools to clean the registry and minimize starts the process.

It's always a little slow and if I am considering upgrading the RAM because I think I can do this for about £50. My questions are:

What type of upgrade RAM should I look to buy? (This laptop have 2 RAM "plug-ins" or just one?)
What is the size of RAM upgrade is the maximum an S3000 - X 4 could face?
Could a novice like me to adapt to the style DIY upgrade?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Gabrielle

    Hi Gabrielle

He is old enough. I looked for some info, but unfortunately I n t have not found much. The device can use the 512 MB of RAM, and you can use 2 sticks of memory. I'm not 100% sure but I think you can use the module with tracking number PA3086U - 1. 25 M.

The unit is not known to me but please check the underside. On most units, you can find coverage of memory.
