HP 2000: HP 2000 Win 7 Install again after replacing hard drive

The hard drive has been replaced in my HP 2000 and Win 7 installed from the disc.  Several drivers are not present.  How can I know what drivers I need for these:

Ethernet controller device Instance path

PCI\VEN_10EC & Dev_8136 & SUBSYS_1854103C & REV_05\4 & 87C21B2 & 0 & 00E3

Network controller device Instance path

PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_0032 & SUBSYS_1838103C & REV_01\4 & 15ED5F19 & 0 & 00E0

PCI Device Instance path

PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_5229 & SUBSYS_1854103C & REV_01\4 & 18138212 & 0 & 00E2

Communications Simple PCI controller Device Path Instance

PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1E3A & SUBSYS_1854103C & REV_04\3 & 11583659 & 0 & B0

SM Bus controller device Instance path

PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1E22 & SUBSYS_1854103C & REV_04\3 & 11583659 & 0 & FB

Without the ability to update the drivers from the network, it has been difficult. I tried searching online with this information, but can't seem to find the required driver.  Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you!

    Hello

You need to create the own recovery in the past disc!
This recovery disk allows you to install the Toshiba image after the HARD drive is dead or has been replaced.

In case you have not created this disk, it is possible to order this support:

  • Satellite L300 - cannot install Microsoft updates after replacing HARD drive

I am repairing a Satellite L300, which had a dead HARD drive. I replaced death 160 GB of HDD with a 500 GB WD, then used the recovery disks to install Windows Vista SP1 at the exit of the State of the box.

Now, Windows update does not work, won't install autonomous not of Vista SP2 I downloaded, MS Security Essentials moved there also.
Then I borrowed a 160 GB of work and went through the same process and everything works fine.

To make it work with a 160 GB HARD drive, but not a 500 GB HARD drive. Why?

    > ... Standalone Vista SP2 I downloaded will not be installed
Usually after installing recovery image, you have just to connect laptop to internet and after a short period of time, you will get messages about available Windows updates. Just install the offered updates process automatic Waterer and install important updates only.

Let the system to install all the updates and don t force the installation of some own downloaded stuff.
Last month I've updated HARD drive (320 GB I think) and installed Win7 on friends L300 and I didn't noticed any problem here.

  • Satellite 5205-S505 - how to install the new OS after replacing HARD drive

    Hello.

Installed a new hard drive. How to install an operating system?

    I thank.

    Hello

You have a Toshiba Recovery disk?
If so, then start on this disc.
The installation process should start automatically and you must follow the instructions on the screen.

If you n t have such recovery disc, then you will need to use a Microsoft Windows disk in order to install the operating system.

Satellite 5205-S505 is a series of laptop Toshiba us and old drivers can be found on the Toshiba U.S. driver page:

HP Pavilion dm4 3050us. Had to replace the hard drive. Installed SATA 320 GB WD Blue. Now when I try to install HP, cannot complete installation is the message. There is something to be changed in the bios? Origianl drive was a Hitachi, but I have no idea of the size

    Hello

The problem is the fact that the original HDD in your notebook is 750 GB and you have replaced this with a 320 GB drive - recovery disks have problems when you try to install on a disk that is inferior in quality to the training they were created from.

There is another solution, you can try.

First of all, don't forget, you can read and write the available 25-character activation key on your label COST.

Then, using another PC, download the Image file for Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit. and save it in your downloads folder.

Once the download is complete, use a program like ImgBurn to write the Image to a blank DVD Windows system file - a guide on this can be found here.

Once the installation disc has been created, typing away at the ESC key when you launch Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Insert the Setup DVD.  Select the Boot Manager option ( f9 ).  Use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER - if you are prompted to "press any key to continue...". ", do.

During installation, enter the activation key for Windows on demand and when the installation is complete, use the 'method of phone", described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system.

  • Using recovery disks (windows 8.1) to re-install on a replacement hard drive

Hello, I just ordered a DELL Inspiron 3000 desktop computer. I read that DELL power supply is no longer reinstallation DVD.  What happens when (if) the hard drive in the new PC goes wrong? Could I then form a new hard drive in my machine and use recovery disks (which I'd as soon as the PC happens with DELL to the top and recovery) to reinstall everything on this new hard drive? That's how would this work?

    Thank you

    Dominocat

It's a ridiculous bunch of B.S. should not have to ask a recovery media for a system they bought which comes with the ability to make its own recovery media. I used the USB Flash method and the DVD I did when I bought the PC, and none of them works. Never do an option to install Windows. Refresh PC and PC Reset are just as useless when told your recovery media is not "valid". If I had my Windows product key that I have just to run Windows Setup, enter the key and be on my way.

I tried to use the application form to request the media with Dell, but because I am out of warranty web page just a loop and does not always actually apply. It seems that I might have to call Dell technical support and pay by the minute (cell phone), while it is pending. Even the Support email link disappears once the warranty expires. Thank you, Dell. Appreciate the help.

I think part of the problem is that the PC came with Windows 8 (so then the recovery DVDs were made) and since then I've upgraded to 8.1 making it "invalid". But this does not explain the new recovery USB support flash a few moments I did there are that still does not work for 'Refresh' or 'Reset' to my PC. It indicates that lack of recovery files. Should not have checked everything while bringing the recovery media?

At this point, I have now downloaded the free version of Reflect and use to clone the old hard drive before he finally died, and I hope it will work. Good luck to all.

My hard drive crashed and I replaced it, but now I have to reinstall all my purchased applications.  I'm trying to re - install Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 but my computer keeps spitting out the disc.  Is it possible to download the program online if I have the product key?

There are two options for downloading Lightroom 4:

    PC: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5567

Remember to follow the instructions for signing in or otherwise downloads is not treated correctly.  If you visit one of the other pages on this site they have a section entitled "Note: very important instructions" which gives precise measurements for signature for download.

You should never get too low on your space of hard drive as the OS needs a minimum 10-15 GB of free space at any time to work properly. So, if you do any movie or image/photo, rendering and editing editing works best if you have at least as much vacuum you have temporary files in your project. I can easily raise 100 GB or more temp. files for a one hour film HD, so I keep a lot of empty hard disk space.

In order to get a few things on your hard drive, the usual space hoggers are therefore, movies, photos, etc. You can move all those who in their library on an external hard drive, and after having checked they are working, delete them from your hard drive.

Generally, the application work better if they are installed on your internal hard drive; I'm not a gamer, so I'm not familiar with the specifics of the game you're talking about. Search on Google, I couldn't find any reference to the Macs on their website - here, it shows the platforms it is compatible with:

  • Equium A200: impossible to get Vista installed on the new HARD drive recovery

    Hello

After a failure of the HD I bought a Toshiba no AF HD which is defective
Now that I had to buy a replacement HARD drive that is a player of AF but no matter how hard I try, I can't recovery Vista Home Premium software to install

I get an error "Windows cannot configure Windows" or something like this message.

    Pointers would be most useful.

    Thank you, Tim.

Usually, is not a big problem to install the Toshiba Vista image using the new HARD disk.
But I've already read in different threads that in the case of much larger hard drives the recovery procedure could not complete successfully.

In which case you would not be able to complete the Vista installation by using the recovery disk, you can try to install the system using the Microsoft disc. In this case I recommend you take the Win 7 OS. Its much better than Vista OS.
