HP 450-101nf: feed an its hp 450-101nf pci-e card

Hello!

I have a HP 450-101 n (3.7 Gz i3, 4 GB ram, 1 slot pci-e x 1, 1 pci-e x 16 slot) and I want to connect to a map its asus xonar dx, but this map requires a separate power cable and I have not seen one inside my office.

Is any possibility of feeding this sound card?

Thank you!

Leon, welcome to the forum.

You would have to separate one of your power with adapter cables 'Y '.  I suggest you contact the ASUS Technical Support to determine the exact type of the adapter you need.  They should be able to help make the choice.  In addition, they would be able to tell you if it draws too much power for you to external power supply 65W.

Please, I have problems trying to download video controller for my HP Probook 450 G2. Here is the device ID: PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_6901 & SUBSYS_224A103C & REV_00. The operating system I use is Windows 8 Enterprise N I hope that's enough to help you better guide me on what to do.

Thank you & Happy New year to you!

    You are the very welcome.

You can not install any version of the W8.

You will need to install W8.1 64 bit or W7 64 bit, why HP provides drivers to support hardware when you install one of these operating systems.

  • HP Mini 210-3025 feeding issues its

    Hi all

This is my first post here, so please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong section/Council.

I have a HP Mini 210-3025 AA as a Christmas gift last year of my better half, that I loved and appreciated and never encountered problems with this day (Finally, nothing that I've failed to solve anyway).

So it's almost a year now and I use it, 2 weeks ago my better half and I went to a holiday and the laptop worked perfectly before that night, and since we were leaving for 2 weeks, I removed the battery (I usually use the laptop without the battery installed in any case, just plug it into the charger) But anyway, removed battery, external mouse and removed flash drives and put in his case.

This morning after I got home, I tried to turn it on, connected outside the mouse, charger and pressed the power button, but no response... So I unplugged the charger (both supply and the laptop) and reconnected, still nothing; then decided to give the battery a go, which lead to the power led next to the plug of the charger flashes 3 times indicator of low battery. So I plugged in the charger, the red light and should be in charge, but the Start button / stop it turns not again, waited 20 minutes to try again, still nothing, tried with another charger, still nothing!

Finally I let the battery charge and it was fully charged, but now he is dead yet and I can't turn it at all! Although the battery is charged!

For a person that most people consider a "geek", I have no idea of what the exact problem is, initially I thought that it could be the power button, but when the power led blinked by pressing it stack installed earlier I ecxluded; thought it could be the charging circuit for not working after 20 minutes, but now it is fully charged, still does not!

I tried the hard reset, but it doesn't seem to change anything

I am a very careful person with my stuff, so nothing has been spilled on my laptop, or something like that, but now I have a major problem happening for obvious reasons! And it's a gift from my better half which means I want to return to work just because this isn't just a laptop to me!

    Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.

I was not sure from your post if you had been able to reset or not.  However, thank you to try my steps even if you tried this solution in the past.

It is difficult to identify these kinds of questions.  However, I think that your motherboard may be at fault here.  I'll try to explain why.  Battery (seem to) load normally so we can assume that the AC adapter and the battery are in working condition.  However, even with a charged battery, you get no response from the laptop.  With other kinds of issues (bad BIOS, bad RAM, etc.), you will get a SHIFT CAPSLOCK or Numlock blinking code which indicates the problem.  If it was one of those pieces of equipment that has been loaded you would receive a different set of symptoms.  Unfortunately, I can't speculate on the cause of the failure.

I think your best bet is to have the laptop repaired.  You said that you have already started the process to have the laptop repaired through HP.  It is the best option in my opinion.  Just in case where you do not have information you can directly join the HP Support at 1-800-474-6836 for the United States / Canada.  Other areas will have to visit HP's Support around the world to find their contact information.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.  Enjoy the rest of your week

    Hello

Thanks for your suggestion, but it did not work for my problem.

Surprisingly, I solved the problem by installing the latest version of the driver for Intel HD 5500.

Now, two graphics cards work fine.

    Best wishes

    Hello:

You need this driver for the card reader (PCI Device).

The Realtek USB and PCIe card reader drivers allow the card slot multimedia integrated in the laptop models running a supported operating system.

What model wireless network adapter is has your laptop?  Who determines what bluetooth driver, you must install if your laptop comes with built-in bluetooth.

You need this software for fingerprint reader work:

HP Client Security Manager provides Windows user name and the Web site single-sign - on enhanced capabilities. Security Manager is also the host of plug-ins HP Client Security and therefore must be installed before other modules of Client Security. This package is provided for the supported models running a supported operating system.

  • Satellite A200 - its possible to change my video card?

    Hey,.

I was wondering if its possible to change my video for a better card. I currently have the nVidia GeForce Go 7300 and its an integrated video card.
But I don't know if this means that it is impossible to change it or maybe its possible to add an extra video card in the laptop (SLI).

So is there anything I can do about it?

No, because the GPU is soldered on the motherboard. Not possible to remove it!

  • Need of advice, the GPU upgrade and power

Since this is my first post here I would start by saying hello to everyone. I recently bought an HP Elite M9400t Core 2 Duo Quad 2.5 GHz. It came with 4 GB of ram and an its Soundblaster wireless Xtreme pci-e card but unfortunately only came with an Nvidia 9300 GE, which is more or less a rebadged Nvidia 8400. I would like to know what are my options for the upgrade. I would like to upgrade a 680 to 700 watt power supply food to accommodate the new GPU and I've had my eye on the Geforce GTX 260, but the thing is 10.5 inches long. I measured and it would be a tight fit, but the PSU cables would be in the way, unless I went the way of a modular power supply. HP came with a 350 watt PSU. Tell me a 350 Watt power supply would be sufficient to run say a Nvidia 9600 gt or say a solution simple 9800 gt slot. They all have two minimum system requirements of 400 watts... But.  And. will be a more recent judgment out of the PSU shelves fit in my case? And there at - it no real advantage to using the modular power supply she calls space-saving? Thank you for your help in advance.

This 9600 GSO is easily from 550 to 700 MHz overclock with ATI tool or equivalent, to put it in with the 9800 GTX.

  • HP SlimLine 450 - A24: Add an expansion card 4 ports USB 3.0 PCIe to a HP 450 - A24

    Hi, new to the forum.

I have a HP Slimline 450 - A24 and would like to know if it is possible to install a port 4 USB 3.0 PCIe expansion card?  All I could find is that the expansion port was used. Is it possible to add even 4 port USB 3.0 PCIe expansion card?

    Thanks fror your help

    Hi @gulwing1,

That the Forums are with you! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you are looking for more information on your system and whether it is possible to put a 4-port USB 3.0 PCIe card. I'm happy to give you a helping hand with this.

Looking at the HP Slimline 450 - a24 Desktop PC product specificationsand HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - specifications (P-nutmeg nuts) of the motherboard, System Board lists no matter what expansion slot at all.  With this in mind, you cannot use a PCIe card in this system.

It is unfortunately not the news you wanted, but answering your question. Please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • Update card its elite of pavilion HPE 380 t

    Hello

I would like to install a card its decent in my HPE - 380 t, it came with built-in sound and is not so great for recording music, games, etc.

I currently have a spare Creative Labs SB0790 PCI Sound Blaster X - Fi Xtreme Audio Sound Card and there is a slot

next to my video card that looks like it should match this card, but it does not connect.

Do I need a PCI express card his present? the pins don't really feel that they are in the right size for housing I have...

Anyone who is familiar with this platform knows how I can get a decent card?

    Thank you!

    Your computer has the following slots;

Two graphics PCI Express 2.0 x 16 (for graphics cards)

A PCI Express x 4 card (for cards such as network, sound, tv tuner)

A PCI Express x 1 card (for cards such as network, sound, tv-tuner)

It doesn't have a PCI slot, you must use a PCIe card like your second link.

  • Connection map its Asus PCI-E SUPPORT

Hello.  I have a Dell XPS 8500 amd I want to connect to my new card, the Asus Xonar Essence STX.  There are 2 PCI-E slots, but the card has a connector 4-pin & I see no power cable 4 pins from the power supply.  What can I do?

The Dell XPS 8500 Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D, this is the card I know works. SB1350

Recon3d SB1350 so the Dell guy offers as an Option.

The version of Dell looks different than generic.

Map of 70SB135000000 from Dell is designed to work with the audio jacks included when you get the appropriate cable.  I think its yellow cable.

Don't know the part number for the cable. If you get the right card I think to that disconnect from the motherboard. Disable audio in the bios and connect to the recon map.

NOTICE how the detail map has several pins of the card from Dell.

  • 6 J_PW_NVRAM pins on the motherboard R920. I can use it as Fusion 1.2 to ioDriver2 feeder Duo?

Power cable supplied with ioDriver2 Duo has 2 6pin connector. A large feeder and small for the I/o memory card. I find anywhere where to plug the large connector on my motherboard R920.  A Pin J_PW_NVRAM connector 6 can be found on the motherboard.  So my question is can I use it for my IO memory card if I can find a power cable 6 pin-to-6 pin.    Moreover, there are many pins covered with paper black on the back of my power distribution Board (I think it's PDB, in front of my diet.). Are they also connector additional electric supplier?

The jumper PIN - Pin J_PW_NVRAM - 6 on every motherboard that I am aware of can't, they are jumpers to clear the Bios password and jumpers to clear the NVRAM (reset the bios).
