HP 4515: Printing on both sides of a sheet with 2 different print files

I would like to print a message on the back of our statement of mailing direct advice given our associates to each pay period.  The statement is generated in our payroll system .xps format.  The message is in Word.  Is it possible to store two files in Quebec and then have the statement printed on one side and the message printed on the reverse in the same impression.  I have a HP4515 with a double-sided accessory.  Don't know if this is possible, but I thought I could think I hope someone in HP had already made and allowed.

As long as the printer is concerned, 'jobs' are exclusive entities, which means that they cannot share the same sheet of paper.

that is when a task is completed, all media (paper) used by labour emptied unit before the start of any other position.

What print products third many do (and have done for years) is to use PCL macros. sometimes referred to as overlays.

These are normally stored in RAM of the printer (and therefore have to be downloaded on the device whenever it is turned on), although on some more expensive printers, these macros can be loaded more permanently on a hard drive in the unit.

But the print job you send to the device must be able to select the macros, which prohibits indeed (AFAIK) standard Windows printer drivers.

either you write your own flow of printing (without the benefit of a driver), or to make use of a third-party product that could do it for you. most of these products are designed for specific types of production and are not suitable for general - purpose printing.

... or just change your app "direct deposit advice" out of the back and the front statement.

How to set up the all-in-one Photosmart C7280 to automatically print on both sides of the page? I used to be able to do, but now I only get choices for

    Off

    Manual

    Booklet from left edge

    Booklet from right edge

'Manual' make me reload each page by hand in order to print the second side.

I recently had to reinstall the driver, and since then I can choose is no longer "automatic."

Right-click on the printer icon and click Properties. Click the device settings tab and search module duplex, or a printing accessory 2 faces and set it to "Installed" and apply the settings. Then you should get the automatic option.

  • Want 5660: Printing on both sides of a sheet

I love the ability to print on both sides of a sheet of paper.

I know that if I have a document that has multiple pages in can I print every 2 pages on a single sheet.

What I have is several files, each a page definition, but I would like to select, say, 2 files and say: "Print on both sides" and it would print the first file on the file 1 and the 2nd side on side 2.

    > >... What I have is several files, each a page definition, but I would like to select, say, 2 files and say: "Print on both sides" and it would print the first file on the file 1 and the 2nd side on side 2...

Each file you want to print, the printer driver generates a print job that is sent to the printer.

The printer interprets the content of the print job and prints the requested page or images, then (at the end of the work), all incomplete pages are printed and emptied of memory.

If the next job always starts on a new sheet of paper, regardless of the setting, simplex / duplex.

The only ways you could accomplish what you want are:

    • Find someone to write you a customized printer driver who would take the content of the two source documents offered as input to produce a single output print job; even if you could find someone to do this, it would probably cost more than the printer (or several of these printers).
    • Merge documents two sources (Word, Excel) entry in a new source document, then print it.

  • How to print a book on both sides of the page with the zoom.

Hi I have a book of 100 small pages in book format and I want to print this book on both sides of the paper with two pages per side.

I use windows XP and adobe acrobat reader XI version greater than 11.0 and an old printer.

I tried to do and print two pages on one side by selecting multiple option in the layout, but there is no zoom I mean very tiny were printed and the remaining space was wasted.

Then in order to print the even pages on the one hand and the odd pages on the other side, I tried to print the odd pages first in vain, I mean that all pages have been printed by also including the odd pages.

For this I followed the instructions on the next page

    http://howtoprintdoublesided.com/how-to-print-double-sided-PDF/

Please suggest how the two above can be carried out at the same time.

    Kind regards

    Rupesh.

    Hi Rupesh,

To print the file to the scale, you can set the value in % in the impression under custom scale option dialog box.

For double-sided printing click the properties button next to the printer you selected.

Here you will get all the print properties that a printer supports.

You can choose to print both side if it is available.

    Thank you

  • HP print printable using both sides of the sheet

I would like to be able to take advantage of the ability of the printer to print on both sides of the paper.  When I print from my computer, it is not a problem.  However, when I set up the automatic broadcast of an ePrint application (Comics, for example), the print is only on one side.

Does anyone know how to set up connected HP Print Center to use both sides of the paper?

    Hi Mgg4,

I see you are trying to print two-sided when you use printable Hp.

Currently, the duplex printing option is not available for Hp Printables(ePrint apps).

    Hello

I'm trying to print on both sides of the paper.  I have a deskjet 9800.  I select two sided, but it will print one page after another.  Even pages are 'upside down '.

    Would appreciate help with this.

    Hello

I think that it is an old printer and it MUST have a duplex unit to be able to print both side automatically if yu have to print manually (turn inside papers yourself):

  • How to create a document and insert the words and/or art on both sides of the page

How to create a document and insert the words and/or art on both sides of the page

How to create a document and insert the words and/or art on both sides of the page

You create a document by using an application of word processor like Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect or OpenOffice Writer.  Think of it as a broad a page roll.

When you print the document, you can print all pages of the document on one sheet of paper (the normal default value), or you can print on both sides of a sheet of paper.

Some printers are capable of automatic double-sided printing.  With others, you print all the odd pages and then take the stack of paper, turn upside down and put it back into the printer to print all pages.  You need either to read your printer manual, or experiment a bit to determine if you need to re - organize the first last pages before printing the second side.

  • HP Officejet 4630: Printing on both sides, no option to turn off when you print a Word Doc; When printing Pages

Recently, when printing, the printer appear uses both sides of the paper, even when we don't want him. There is no option to turn it off when you print a Word document.

When printing Pages it shows a checked box that says BOTH SIDES, if I uncheck, then it works.

But from Word, there is no other choice. I tried the file/Preferences, I tried through the printer settings and nothing we can find will solve this problem? This has recently (last week or two) become a problem...

  • 2610 print both sides with Vista

I've recently upgraded to Vista Home 32 bit top, and have the latest version of the software/driver installed. I noticed that I no longer get the "print both sides" option in the Properties window. Is this a Vista problem?

BTW, I say I have the current driver, download it tags like 080.001.237.000, but the solution ID Center told 082.000.242.000 that must be more recent. The update check says: I'm updating.

    Thank you

Last update, I found additional assistance with the cat online at HP to install 6500 drivers and how to use them both.

  • How can I create my own template pages, to print a 4-page newsletter on both sides of the tabloid-size paper?

How can I create my own template pages, to print a 4-page newsletter, using both sides of the tabloid-size paper?

The finished newsletter should be a folded booklet: a piece of 11 x 17 paper folded to form a 8.5x11 "booklet". This clearly means pages 1 and 4 should be printed on one side of the tabloid sheet and pages 2 & 3 on the other.

I can't find such a model in the Pages.

There is no such a model, so you'll have to make your own, using a spread on presentation of your newsletter.

Use shapes, images and text boxes to position available for your model.

You didn't say what version of Pages that you are using but if it's Pages 5.x, it has no text boxes related so this will make it difficult and it's going to be a lot of manual work.

  • Print on both sides of the page

For printing on both sides of the page, the instructions say to FLIP on LONG EDGE or RETURN on SHORT EDGE.   WHAT WOULD BE THE CRITERIA FOR THE REVERSAL OF ONE WAY OR THE OTHER?  I'm printing docs on 8-1/2 x 11 paper. 1 set of docs is 14 unique pages that I could turn it into 7 if I could print on both sides.

Instructions more tell - printer is will automatically load the back paper to print on the other side. Someone please help me understand these instructions?  Thank you.  Judy

    > to FLIP on LONG EDGE or RETURN on SHORT EDGE.

This difference is important if you want to print portrait vs landscape.

For the first case, you usually run flip on the long side, on the side.

Sorry, this printer is NOT a duplexer.

The duplexer allows the printer to print on both sides. You will not be able to do, with this printer.
