HP 500-326na: suggested cooler CPU OC

I'm all about maxing out my current state having the card mother Orchid-S. I just put in a CPU Athlon X 4 760 with a stock cooler. I managed to overclock 4.1 MHz 4.3 with a + 0.1V to increase which works well at 48 C all in game. What that what more requires more tension, but temperature wounds up to 67C the test of stability, so I just put back it. Could someone please recommend a good cooler for overclocking of this motherboard that requires 4 screws to secure it in place. I don't have to spend a fortune, but I'm realistic and accept to get anything decent will require to spend a little money. Thanks in advance.

Here's the cooler UK.  It has very good reviews, but one review said it is great.  You can read the comments to see what users have to say about it.  Once again, if you have any Technical Support questions can help you a lot more than me.  I found it saves return components if I talk to the Technical Support from the manufacturer.  Seller pay shipping for you, but you pay to ship it to them.

  • HP Pavilion 500-326na: graphics upgrade on HP Pavilion 500-326na card

Last year, I bought a HP Pavilion 500-326na, and recently, I decided that I would update the graphics card. The card that I'm looking is the nVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti. This would be consistent with (and in the form of) my computer? In addition, I'm not sure exactly how I had to upgrade my power supply, if necessary, and if you can direct me to a decent choice.

    Thank you very much.

    SJ642, welcome to the forum.

According to the Specifications of the product , the computer has an external power supply 180W (PSU).  If this is the case, you won't be able to level the video card.  The 750ti requires a power supply of at least 300 w; Some reported that 400W is needed to make it work properly.

  • HP Pavilion 500-326na: upgrade of power supply for HP Pavilion 500-326na

Last year, I bought a HP Pavilion 500-326na. I now want to update its graphics and to do this, I need to power level. I want to upgrade to a CX500, but the specs say that his current power is "external". I don't know what this means, and indeed, I don't know if I will be able to upgrade. I see no reason why I shouldn't be, but everything I've seen only offers assistance on internal types.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

Look at the power supply cord.  If you have a device of black brick similar to those for portable computers, then you have an external power supply. PC with external cannot be upgraded with the installation of an internal power supply as a Corsair CX500 according to HP internal.

  • Pavillion 500-326na: Office purchased without warranty has already expired

    Hi all

I bought your desktop HP Pavilion 500-326na six months ago and recently received a notice telling me that the warranty on my pc had expired the year before I bought it. When I bought the pc, it was said that the product carries a one year manufacturer warranty. What are the options that are available to me?

    Kind regards.

    Hello:

Contact HP for the country where you live.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/contact-HP/WW-contact-us.html

The customer service representative should send you an email with a link to download a copy of your receipt of sale/invoice showing the date of purchase of your PC and they will adjust the period of guarantee accordingly.

I had to do the same in February when I bought my new HP laptop.  The guarantee applies for one year, but it showed that expires this month instead of next February.

I think it took them a few days to make corrections.

  • Compaq 500 b memory and CPU compatibility problem

I have a Compaq 500 b MT, that came from the factory with 1 GB of RAM and a processor Intel Celeron E3200 CPU.  I upgraded my memory to two sticks of 2 GB Kingston DDR3 1600 RAM, which worked perfectly for a while.  I then upgraded my CPU to an Intel Pentium E6500 CPU processor (supported), and when the start he gave me a code beep RAM (1 short, 1 long, 3 second pause) error.  I bought 2 sticks of memory PNY thinking I have fried my other sticks.  Same beep code.

To make a long story short, I tried all possible combinations of the two processors and the three types of memory. The only time wherever I could get the Pentium E6500 to start was with the factory installed 1 GB memory.  It would give errors of memory with any of the other 2 GB sticks, even when considered individually.  Celeron CPU works very well with them.

Is there something that I need in order to get the E6500 working with sticks of 2 GB of RAM?

When you updated the modules of memory did you some they are guaranteed compatible? This isn't an amateur PC equipped of a BIOS level that allows for flexibility in the choice of primary and secondary memory sync settings and take. This means that it is essential that one chooses to upgrade memory that meets the criteria specified in the image below. Otherwise, the way the easiest way to upgrade is to buy only compatible memory guaranteed of leading manufacturers of memory.

When I search for Compaq 500 b MT I come with a desktop PC. Is this correct? You posted in the notebook section, perhaps by mistake. If you will check, I can move this correct place.

    Kind regards

  • 500 - 326na: limited overclocking

First of all I don't have a system of stock as rated avove. Updates, I made are:

    PSU: 180W - Corsair 430W

    GPU: Radeon R7 240 - EVGA GTX SSC 960

CPU: AMD A8-6500 (locked) - AMD Athlon X 4 760 (updated stock cooler to Muscle Themalright AXP-100)

    Motherboard is stock (BIOS update)

I'm new to overclocking and have some problems. I have my soreted GPU, but cannot get my done CPU. First I thought that maybe that's a problem of heat but I have updated the cooler and works at 35 ° C max on benchmark Ultra HD, but still does not solve my problem. Basically, I managed to get a stable 4.5 at 1.385V GHz.  I need more power to get a higher frequency, but as soon as I raise my blood pressure past 1.385V the CPU immediately strangle.  Another thing to add is that no matter what I change the NB voltage to within the parameters of that voltage change not what makes me wander if it is the problem.  Appreciate any thoughts?  Thank you.

I just bought a HP with overclocking announced capacity. After that some research it seems that tensions have indeed been capped. I also read that when you have active overclocking it disables turbo of the processor. This may or may not be the case with your model. I think I'll just leave mine, that's when it happens.

  • Dell Studio XPS 9100: Case fan care? Cooler CPU upgrade options?

I want to upgrade the case fans in my XPS 9100, but I've seen much contradictory info in the actual specifications regarding size: are these 92 mm or 120 mm?

In addition, it is an i7 960: is there a compatible upgrade for the CPU cooler? I don't want or need to COO liquid: want to let it cool a bit. Basic time are constantly around 52 C.

I think that on all processors in the LGA 1366 socket, the hoses are the same.  On the 9000, I used the cooler DBX - B on 4 different processors in the LGA 1366 socket.  Any socket LGA 1366 cooler should operate, regardless of the CPU.

The DBX - B can be installed to direct the air in 1 of the 4 directions, depending on how it is mounted.  I have mine pointing upward, to the power supply.  (Note fan blows air in the direction of the fins in aluminium).  Idea is to keep the heat away from the other components of the motherboard and direct it to two fans at the rear (one being in the power supply), which are tailpipes.

My PC makes noise video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7_iULq8LgE

The good news is that you can replace the fan. Look at this picture.  You don't have to remove the radiator.  The part number is displayed on the fan housing.  Browse the different examples, some show only the fan, which is a fan of type 4 son PMD. Do your research (because your to the United Kingdom?) and I can't assess the availability of replacement.   The RPM is a key factor. Too slow will trigger a full stop.

Make sure you understand the position and rotation of the fan blades.  You do not want to install a new fan "toggled".

  • Satellite pro M10: CPU cooler problems

    Hello
    I am using a Satellite pro M10 1.5 G.
The cooler cpu or fan, makes a strange noise. It seems that some module between the wheels of a bike. It's very annoying. The pc is not so quiet as it was before.

    What can I do?

    Hello

It sounds like there is something caught in the cooling that is contagious fans the fan blades. Visually check the fans through the aspiration air grills to see if you can see what it is.

Unfortunately access to all fans will involve some disassembly so I would try to suck debris on the grids of aspiration of fan with a vacuum cleaner.

If the problem persists, it may be necessary to take the unit to a Service Agent authorized to check/replace cooling fans.

Of course, there is a Silent fan cooling which cool the CPU.

This cooling module is one of the essential elements for laptop... the thermal grease is placed between the fan and processor and without such cooling CPU module overheats

  • Upgrade CPU on Satellite 4070

Can anyone suggest a CPU upgrade for this model, I need a minimum of 500 Mhz to run a program I want to install, it has a modular type Celeron 366 but has trouble with XP Pro, I have already installed (198!) max RAM and a 40 GB HARD drive. The mobo is the same as the 2140 and also the 4100, so I don't mind this arrangement if it is the only way to go.

PS the laptop costs me nothing otherwise I wouldn't bother, soon.

Wow, XP on a 366 MHz computer?

I would put Win98SE on it rather than XP. Win98 would be much better.

Even if you replace the Celeron with a more fast Pentium II (same generation), it will be always slow.

XP needs at least 512 MB of RAM to run 'ok '. Even with 256 MB, XP would be dragging pagefile data since the disk, causing major slow downs.

Best cooler CPU I've seen so far it's too quiet. I like the design and the radiator surface area. The 140mm fan provides excellent airflow. I also like the descending air on the Board moving heat off the heatsinks on the Board. Turbulence is what you want on your Board always and anyway as you can get.

I don't know that Newegg will soon have more drives SSD Callisto. If you buy today, they should soon have stock.

You're just wasting money if you simply buy a faster chip because you want faster speeds, when you overclock just a cheaper chip at the same speed as the more expensive...

Many times they are the SAME CHIPS and you only pay for the same thing... I will overclock everything (including my netbook and a cell phone) until the day I die.
