  Of course you can upgrade the RAM. As far as I know that Satellite P100 can be upgraded up to 4 GB of RAM. For example, you could buy two modules with 1 GB of capacity. Then you have a maximum of 2 GB of RAM.

  You can buy new RAM modules where you want, but I have good experiences with the Kingston modules. I always use them to improve my books because I never had a problem with them.

  While I'm not an employee of HP, only a volunteer, I know that HP didn't win 10 drivers for your computer.  They will develop not win 10 drivers for older computers.  They develop Win 10 drivers for computers that come from the factory with installed or newer models.  I wish I had better news for you.

  I can't comment directly on your device (VPCEA16FG) because this isn't an American model, but it is very similar to the series of VPCEA2xx which, according to the spec, can take up to 8 GB ram (DDR3/1 066 MHz).  The hard drive is a SATA probably accommodating a 1 TB drive, but our repair manuals has the largest size being 640GO for this series...
