HP 655 AC Laptop Adapter

A friend of mine needs a power adapter for his notebook HP 655, but I am not able to find the capabilities required, nor on the computer itself, or on the website of HP. We live in Sweden with a power supply 230 V. I need to know the output voltage and ampereage to buy an original HP adapter or no HP one.

Thank you

Hello

The following link leads to 65W version:

You can find the version 90W elsewhere.

Kind regards.

    Hello

I am writing this thread I wish for an item on Ebay, namely the car adapter PX1189E-1NPO manufactured by Toshiba.

The problem is my laptop 15V DC entry and the seller, I contacted eBay told me that the PX1189E-1NPO (output of 19V mentioning on the site of Toshiba Switzerland) would be compatible with no problems.

After a search, I noticed that there is also the PX1188E-1NPO manufactured by Toshiba 15V output.

I can trust that the seller told me, namely as the Web from Toshiba site that reads for the adapter PX1189E-1NPO car on this link: 4703 http://ch.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/individualOptions.do?LNG=7&service=CH&selCategory= & oldCategory = 4703 & OPTION_ID = 98981?

Moreover, I am a little troubled because none of the links to the PX1188E-1NPO or PX1189E-1NPO mentions my laptop model (P100-488).

What do you think of this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

As far as I know that you need a 15V car adapter
As you say in your message above the car on eBay adapter supports 19V.

In your case I would contact the authorised Toshiba partner in your country and would order the adapter car from these guys.
The ASP can provide 100% compatible parts and in this case, you would be sure that parties are supported at 100% and damage the laptop!

  • requirements of the wireless laptop adapter hp laptop pavilion ze5700

I have a HP Pavilion ze5700 laptop (windows xp). It is about 9 years old. I've recently updated my router a Netgear (802.11ac) r6300 wireless. I also bought a Netgear 802.11ac A6200 wireless adapter to work with the wireless router. I called technical support for Netgear, HP and Comcast (my ISP). None of them seem to be able to help me. We went through the changes of the properties of the wireless network, and I still can't internet at work.

I wonder if the HP Clubhouse ze5700 is able to work with a newer card.  The cards are too fast for my laptop? If I plug a cat-5 cable from the router to my laptop, it works fine. Can I do anything to let him work wirelesly? I'm not a big hardware guys, so the switching components isn't something I want to do.

In addition, the wireless router works fine with my other computers and tablets, so I'm not adjut the router settings.

I learned that my olny two options are to use the laptop while it is plugged into the router, or use a powerline network adapter, which crosses the wires from the House.

Any help or advice would be great.

    Thank you!

  • After re-installing vista OS - my vga on laptop adapter is most recognized using a projector (I use large screen TV) never had a problem before - now not even recognized

As I said in the title - I reinstalled vista OS due to many files corrupted - my adapter vga on laptop now is no longer recognized.  Nothing happens when I plug in the power cord vga for the big screen TV or projector.  That's how I give presentations which is part of my job. I use a projector (I use TV big screen). Never had a problem before - now even not recognized.

    Once you do a reinstall:

Go to the Web site of the manufacturer of your laptop computer-graphics/computer card > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

    See you soon.

  • HP ENVY 14 t - 3000 SPECTRUM CTO PC laptop - adapter

I am trying to find the right power for this new notebook (spectrum Envy 14).  The trick seems different from what I can find, and a few other forum messages seem to indicate that HP recommends not correct sometimes.

Good news for anyone who maybe look for a spare for the Envy 14 spectrum or any other power adapter line like Ultrabook.  I took my chances and bought a HP Slim travel (http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/products/Accessories/AC-Adapters/VF685AA?HP-Slim-Travel-AC-Adapter) for my Envy 14 spectrum AC adapter, even if she did not want on the compatible list ultrabooks.  To my surprise, the package has a compatible "HP Ultrabook" sticker on the front.  To confirm what I thought it meant, I opened the package and found the appropriate laptop power cable that is used on all HP Envy Ultrabooks.  Detective Conan.

  • Power supply for HP g71 laptop adapter

Hello. My sister has HP G71 laptop and he had so many questions. She dropped me last night because I'm good with computers. After checking it with so many problems and as a mess of a PC. I thought that it is better to perform a system recovery, all over again. When I went to do recovery it say that the battery is low and the battery was at 99% tells me to plug and the adapter sector is plugged into the wall outlet. seems the cord of the adapter is charging the battery, but the laptop does not recognize that it connected to the wall outlet. even the lights on the front lights is on. so far I have closure to the low a battery out I tried to turn it on with just the cord does not on without the battery in it the adapter cord is in charge the batter but the laptop it itself acknowledges that its plugged on the line, I read that it is not only his cell phone, it's a lot of people have had the same problem with these laptops in any help would be great. because at this point, I can't do a reset on this PC yet.

I suggest you reset the computer of hard edge. Sometimes these types of problems can be solved in drain completely the power of the PC and then reintroduce.

    To perform a hard reset

Shut down the computer by going to the menu start and select shut down. (If you have no display, hold the button for 5 seconds)
Unplug the adapter from the laptop.
Remove the battery from the bottom of the laptop. There will be a switch/battery eject button.
Wait at least 1 minute with all sources of power disconnected.
Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power adapter, and then try to turn on the laptop.

Let me know how it works for you, and if it solves the problem.

    Thank you

My laptop came with a 100W power adapter.  Can I use a 65W or 90W in replacement?

Thanks for the quick response.  We can this further explore?  When I did some research on the HP site, trying to find the replacement part, it was not available and finally I got to the fourth AC adapter that has been proposed.  Therefore, ANY string of 100W work?  Also, when I entered my specific product, it seemed to describe the machine had an advantage to also use several types of strings, 65W and 90W.  I posted the question here because I wasn't sure I was interpreter info site properly, as it was very technical.  If I give you the product information accurate would you be able to confirm my options?

No, not just the 'W' note look you but the voltage and amps as well to determine if it will provide the load appropriate for your laptop. Then watch your underside of the laptop and there it will list power specifications, the adapter must have to work and turn on your laptop.

If I take the battery out of my notebook can I use only the AC adapter?

    Hello

Yes you can - if you do not use the battery for a period of time, the best way to store it must empty at about 40% charge and then store it in a cool place for example wrapped in a plastic bag in a refrigerator (not freezer).

  • Laptop HP Stream - 11-d077nr: Wifi adapter endangered

I've had this laptop about a year and a half, and things were working fine without any problems until a few weeks ago.

The internet connection is suddenly released, and the resolution of the problems diagnosed was a problem with the network adapter.

The network used on my laptop adapter is Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n.

I uninstalled the driver for the card, downloaded a newer, more updated driver from another computer, then reinstalled on the affected computer.

It worked for about an hour, until the wifi is out again, and the network card has disappeared from the Device Manager.

Resetting the computer would bring back wifi for a period of 5 minutes to 5 hours, but it would never last.

Finally, I reset my computer back to factory settings. After doing this, the NIC was present in the Device Manager, and the wifi worked well for a few days, before returning to its non-functional State.

This sounds like a hardware problem? Is it possible to get my card wifi, replaced by hp? Or this problem may be solved by fiddling with the software?

    Thank you very much.

  • Adapter for laptop with different rated voltage

    Dear community,

I had been using an old laptop Compaq Presario V3000. Now the laptop adapter went wrong past and need to replace the same.

So I went to a store near HP who sold me an adapter, but after his return and comparing with the original adapter, I found had a different voltage than the original rating. I confronted the HP Store with the facts, I was told that the adapter with the old notation are not more available and new adapter will be perfectly well that both cards have the same nominal power.

The side of the cards original and news are as follows:

    Adapter supplied originally with laptop: 18.5V - 3. 5A / 65W

Sides of new card is now provided by HP Store: 19.5V - 3.33 A / 65W

Please suggest if I can use the new adapter or not and if not, then what should I do?

    Thanks and greetings

    Nitin

    Hello

The gap is 5%, should be allowed to use.

    Kind regards.

  • DV7 - 4183cl Smart adapter?

Hi, I keep getting a pop up message when I plug my laptop adapter lately. He said, "for maximum output to connect a superior smart adapter of capacity." I use the original AC adapter came with my laptop, which is 2 years old. Is something wrong with my adapter? Why do I get this message?

    lmwh454,

Sorry it took so long to respond.

    Do a hard reset.

    Turn off the computer.

Remove the power cable and battery.

Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth energy sources are deleted.

Make sure that the power adapter is disconnected from the wall also.

Check the connection in the middle of the cable to make sure there are not separated.

This should reset the hardware in the computer.

Here is a link to a post on how to disable the pop up.

I would like to know how everything goes.

    Nice day.
