HP 8500, unrelated, but some States PC and HP utility works well?

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless, model A909g, paired with Windows 7 Pro N.

Just changed the servers from Shaw to Telus.  Tried to print.  Solution Center HP said "no connection".  Plugged power cord for PC, went to the Manager of devices and device 'compatible '.  Restarted.  Then implement WEP again, but he did not like the Telus # then put in the old WEP Belkin #.  He agreed.  Printer and restarted PC.  No connection.  Manager States device works correctly.  Belkin works correctly. Summary of the Diagnostics of the network wireless, all the Pass Test and Enabled report.  HP Network Configuration Page - Network - Ready status, types of connection - Wireless, status - related.  So back to the HP Solution page and it says the printer is not connected.  He did print the test report, and everything said this works, but it doesn't.  The latest drivers are loaded.  What is going on?

Your PC is probably looking for the printer on your network of old.  Go to start > Control Panel > devices & Printers.  Remove all instances of the printer.

Now, go to start > all programs > HP > OfficeJet 8500 > add a device (or similar).  Run the program.  Find your printer on the network, and create an instance of the printer for her in Control Panel for you.

    Contact your carrier and make sure that your account is configured correctly. Then go to settings/general/to comments and press the network name; This will cause the exceptional carrier updates to install (you will see a dialog box saying if an update is needed).     OK - I'VE CORRECTED THE PRINTER WHICH HAS BEEN INEXPLICBLY THE 'PRINT TO FILE' VALUE, BUT THE SCANNER IS STILL MISSING.

  • Cannot add files to Clip + but no error message and Clip Sport works fine on the same machine

    I used successfully the Clip + 4 GB for years without any problem, currently using Windows 7 Prem 64 bit.  Now when I try to add files using MS Explorer it shows the added file (in the Green window scroll bar) but never ends adding the file!  I waited 15 minutes for a short file without success.  Also, I started to use a Sport Clip 8 GB and it works fine, just can't get the Clip + to add more files.  I can delete files and can also use files that remain on the Clip + but can not add new ones.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

    I tried to reload the firmware and this time it worked well and is not only all my old stuff still on the Clip + but I was able to add a small file without problems and properly access all folders of files, so THANKS for the suggestion and the problem solved!  BTW, I had 318MB of space on the Clip +, not KB... Sorry about that

    IE8 (8.0.7600), Win 7, Realtek Driver 6.0.1.5983 updated 01/13/10.   System sounds, readers multimedia, everything works well.
    PROBLEM: NOISE WEB BROWSER (YOUTUBE, etc) - no sound output at all.  Restarted, update the drivers for realtek, etc..   Troubleshooted the normal routines.  Boy I feel stupid?

    Anyone got clues?

    In addition to the response of Varun, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player if installed and then check the issue.

    You can also check the status by using a different user account.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects works well with the merger?

    I'm in the middle of a semester at the University and I use Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (Windows version). I was wondering if the merger would work well with these programs? I intend to the latest update of merger next week.

    The mac I use is an iMac in August 2008 (running 10.5.6). 3.06 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB HD, and a Nvidia GeForce 8800. I also install Windows XP Pro edition and the value of using two processors and 2-3 GB of RAM.

    I will also put it on a new account make sure that practically nothing is running while im current merger.

    I use this for my final college.

    Edit: I forgot to mention. I use CS3. My school has not yet updated in CS4.

    In addition, you think that a 64-bit version of Vista will work best and then 32 bit XP on this partition?

    I love Fusion as much as anyone here and use it a lot. But, in saying that...

    You use this something really important - your final college. You need to perform at its best performance with as few problems as possible because you don't have a lot of time in your semester left (in the grand scheme of things).

    My advice - do not experiment. Work around the merger (as heretical as it may seem on this forum) and first and AfterEffects in a punt in native mode Windows XP OS that is on a BootCamp partition. Video editing will focus on i/o and graphics of your system performance - and nothing works better for this than the native access to the system.

    Running two processors in a virtual merger with computer on a machine with 2 hearts can lead to better performance and is not recommended.

    Thanks for posting the configs. I took a look at them and they clarify a number of things.

    If applications such as telnet and ping function, then we can be comfortable that it isn't a problem with IPSec. When some applications work and some do not I see several possible explanations:

    -There may be an access list that restricts certain traffic. You are saying that the access list is not the problem and since it is not sent I have no way to check that if I accept that is not the issue.

    -I see you do things with ip inspect. I didn't understand if there is an intervention of the it. You can evaluate this as a potential problem.

    -MTU issues can cause this. I see that you use to set a value of 1440 tcp adjust-mss ip. In my experience of use of ACCORD with IPSec, I found that 1440 was too large. At least as a test, I suggest you set the mss 1375 and see what happens. My reading of the documentation for adjust-mss also indicated that it should be applied to the physical interface where traffic increased. I see that you applied on the tunnel. At least as a test, I suggest that you apply it to physical interfaces, where traffic will pass.

    Try these things and let us know if anything changes.

    You are probably right, but I would test the disc more than usual.

    Make sure you have all the options checked in the error checking window that opens.

    Using serialized activation or named user?

    If serialized then you may need to apply a new serial number. The packer of creative cloud can create a license file to do this with the function "create license file."

    If the user named then you may need to sign out of your applications and sign back with the appropriate ID from Adobe.

    The message is clear (if you know what Power PC means, in other words). All G5 and many ancient used Mac made by Motorola and IBM called PowerPC processors. More recent that all Mac G5s use Intel processors.

    You talk to any OS, Mac, Windows, Linux, etc, the application that you are using must be written and compiled for the CPU and operating system, or it won't work.

    Your copy of Photoshop were written for older Mac using PowerPC applications and does not not on any Mac running Lion 10.7.x or later version. They ran under Snow Leopard 10.6.x because it was the last version of Mac OS X to include Rosetta, which is an emulator PowerPC that allowed these older apps to function, even though the Mac has an Intel processor.

    Your have several options.

    (1) buy a new version of Photoshop that runs natively under Leo.

    2) back to Snow Leopard.

    (3) purchase Server Snow Leopard from Apple ($20) and that run in a virtual machine as the free VirtualBox, VMware or Parallels. You can then run your PPC software in the virtual machine. It means that you were running an OS within an operating system and need a good amount of RAM installed to support the two well enough for your Mac is not slow to a crawl.

    I have a sony vaio s series that I bought last January. It comes preinstalled with windows 8, and I use it only about 2 - 3 times a week. 2 weeks ago my trackpad stopped working because I can't move my cursor. I can zoom in and zoom out, and other things, but there is a problem with some functions of the trackpad. I checked the synaptic driver and it says that it is up-to-date.
    now, I suspected that it might be a hardware problem, so I sent it to sony Service Center because it is still under warranty. Unfortunately, it is not the case and I was informed that it's a software problem. They advise me reinstall windows 8 because it is the only solution to the problem, they believe. (I want to clarify that it is probably not Fn + F1, as when I start the laptop, the trackpad works perfectly fine for about 30 secods and suddenly Soundtracks autour after that).
    I hesitate to do because it is a daunting task and I'm not really intuitive with such things. I wonder if you have any suggestions or if anyone has experienced the same problem.
    My hunch is that a windows update is responsible for this, but I'm not entirely sure. Indeed, 3 weeks after I bought my laptop, that this has already happened to my once but after the reboot, the trackpad has worked well. now even by restarting the computer does not help. Basically, I have to use a mouse which is not convenient when I'm on the road...
