HP Advisor dock

Compaq Presario CQ62 XZ199UA

Windows 7 64 bit

Every time I have add icons to the HP Advisor dock, when I turn my computer back on, they're all gone.

Welcome to the Forum

I use a much more recent version of the Hp Support Assistant - no Dock in my version.  (Or maybe I'm missing the point.)

I don't care.

There has been discussion about this in the past.

Here's an MartyH:

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and/HP-Advisor-dock-icons-keep-changing-position/m-p/376749/highlight/true

If this is not helpful, enter "HP Advisor the Dock" in the Search box, press return, and review the results.  There are a number of items of members who can point you in the right direction.

Good luck!

  • HP Advisor Dock - icons keep changing position

I am using the HP Advisor dock for the last two days to see if it is useful or not.

I've added some icons in the dock and reorganized the position of some icons. However, every time the dock stops and then restarts, some of the icons change of position.  For example, I want icons in the left to right order: 1,2,3.  But after a reboot, they appear as: 2,1,3.

Is there a way to rearrange the icons and LOCK the arrangement?

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I'll write this off as OPERATOR ERROR!

I assess me the value of the docking station and to save time I dragged simply shortcuts icons that were already on the desk.  Apparently, this is not the right way to add icons in the Dock. After some reading, I tried dragging shortcuts directly from application files. Using this procedure, all of the icons remain in place on the dock; no more musical chairs!

  • HP Advisor (wharf) application for windows 7 64 bit

I am looking for Application HP Advisor (dock) for Windows 7 64-bit.

But can not find it anywhere. Anyone who knows where I can download it?

The application of HP Advisor for Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-Bit) can be downloaded directly from HP from the link below:

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp46501-47000/sp46561.exe

Because it is available directly at HP, I would advise against downloaded from 3rd third party web sites.

  • Probably the SIMPLEST ever question, but how do I get the released items?

It is perhaps the most foolish questions in the history of these forums, but I myself have encountered a small problem.

I was playing with the elements "pinned" to my task bar and the HP Advisor dock and realized I can put my OWN Articles on the dark and without my taskbar of all echoes.

So as I do, I unpin items and... can no longer find them... Most of the programs is downloads that I can watch in my programs but the YouCam is no longer on my computer.

Now, I didn't delete it, I just have this marking THIS. Where is he? =(

I hope someone can help me! Thank you!!

My HP Recovery Manager is under "Security and Protection", but you can find it easily by clicking on the Start button and start typing HP Recovery in the search box. • docking station HP & hp Advisor

I closed the docking station to save the changes I made and then it disappeared completely.  I didn't know that it was probably the right lower task bar.  I tried to reinstall after link I found on the HP site but know the dock as well as the Advisor does not work properly.  When I try to open the program a status bar appears with them, (the type of status bar that shows when something is downloading) but he and freeze the programs.  The Task Manager is the only way to shut down programs at this time.  I would like to be able to get the hp Advisor and especially the hp docking station works again... with losing them my files and programs thanks to a system restore.   Can someone please?

Thank you.  This seems to have fixed everything.
