• Photosmart B109a-m: HP Photosmart B analysis problem with new HP computer

  I recently updated my computer to an HP all-in-one running Windows 8.1.

  I used to be able to scan on my HP Photosmart with several options, including "Paper to Searchable PDF File" and "text (OCR) in a RTF file. Unfortunately, these options are not available on my new computer and I can only scan to PDF or TIF format.

  Is there something I need to download to enable me to continue scanning to searchable PDF?

  I noticed that before you upgrade to WIndows 8.1 you had options for 'Document to Searchable PDF File' and 'Text (OCR) to RTF File' with your HP Photosmart B109a. I'm happy to help you!

  Hi, I have the printer hp photosmart b109a-m and I also use a mac snow leopard

  I realized that my "double" option is grayed out and to allow that I should check the box "duplexer" under settings options of the printer driver but for the moment there isn't this option.

  I was wondering if this printer supported printing recto verso and what I need to install a new driver additional downloads online to make it able to do this?

  I installed everything on the CD it came with only.

  Oh, and also, is this the same as b109a b109a-m product?

  B109a-m is the software solution, the name of the real model is B109a.

  The specific model device does not support duplex printing automatic that evoke the duplex function.

  You can perform duplexing manual as follows:

  To perform manual duplexing, Joanie you use the Pages to the printer setting, you can find below:

  Thus, another alternative is to use the HP two-sided printing software:
  http://FTP.HP.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL35975/MP-88750-2/HP_Two-sided_Printing.dmg
  You can access this tool by clicking the PDF button at the bottom of the print dialog box, and then select double-sided printing and follow the on-screen instructions.

• Photosmart B109a-m printer suddenly will not print.

  My Photosmart B109a-m printer suddenly will not print. It worked last night and no connections or settings have been affected since then.  It will not print the test page and the printer Utulity advises that means a problem with the printer, not the computer.  The computer shows it sends data to the printer and indicates that it is printing but nothing happens with the printer.  Any ideas how can I fix?  I'm on an iMac with Lion.

  How is the printer connected?

  Try to reset the printing system:

  -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
  -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.
  2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
  3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
  4. type hpwins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
  5. start the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /Unregister. in the Run dialog box and click OK.
  6. launch the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER in the Run dialog box and click OK.
  7. run the installation file and check all difference.

  I recommend you to perform a power reset the printer.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  I suggest also download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.

• Impossible to install the software for photosmart b109a

  I need to re - install my photosmart b109a, because during the installation (from downloaded driver) I get the following error:

  Error 1311: Source not found file.

  C:\Users\Downloads\PS_AIO_06_B109a-m_NonNet_Full_Win_enu_140_175\setup\b109a-M1043.cab

  Check that the file exists and that you can access.

  Obviously the file does not exist, but because I just downloaded the software fron the HP site it should be there!

  Hope someone can help me out, I need the Center solutions to scan documents.

  I use the all-in-one Photosmart B109a printer and it was working fine until yesterday. Since yesterday, it prints yellow color. I use the original HP 364 cartridges, the warranty date is OK. Soak the printhead nozzles in the water would help? If he would, how can I do?

  Argyle thanks for your suggestion. This is what I did before posting on the forum, but did not help. So, I wiped the nozzles of the printhead with a soft and rather wet and thus solve the problem.

• B109a-m Solution Center: 14.0

  Since the upgrade to Windows 10, my solution Center has stopped working.  I deleted all the hp, printer and driver software and reinstalled the latest version, but the problem is still there.  The solution Center does not (no error message).  Any ideas anyone?  Thank you very much.

  I just uninstall Microsoft KB3132372 update, clicked on the solution Center, and it immediately opened. In total, I lost 3 hours working on this problem.

  You are certainly able to scan an entire document using your Photosmart B109 printer, and also you can scan multiple pages into a single file. To analyze the whole area, you'll need access to Solution Center software on your computer in scanning settings to do. Regarding scanning of multiple pages in a single file, see section of the FAQ in the guide below.

  Sorry these suggestions do not work for you, let's try the following in the following order:

  1. Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
  2. Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
  3. Disable all antivirus programs. Disable the anti-virus software.
  4. Disable all firewall programs. The WF of end-to-end.
  5. Create a new user account. Management of accounts of users and connections (Windows 8).
  6. Reinstall using the printer HP install wizard for Windows.
