HP c309g: scans not save (vista OS)

Hello and thanks for any help in advance!

Just bought the HP c309g all-in-one and I'm happy up here EXCEPT... I can't find my scans ANYWHERE. When I record in the computer, they are not where the system tells me that they should be. I even changed the destination folder, and yet... nada. nothing. No digitized file.

Tried scanning the printer itself and a center of solution. No error received. It seems that if everything is working properly - can even preview. But nothing seems to register on the computer.

Any suggestions?

The following solution worked:

"The problem comes from a dll not being upgraded in the Cue 13 install.

The correct version of this dll can be found here - filename hpqxmlul.dll

FTP://noscnfil:[email protected]/

Save this file on your PC and then copy it to the correct location.

For 32 bit

C:\Program Files \Digital Imaging\bin

For 64-bit

C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP \Digital Imaging\bin

After you have copied the file to the correct location and replaced one that was it restart the PC and scanning problem should disappear. »

    I see that you encounter some problems with the scanning of your Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one for your Windows 7 PC. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. Uninstall all software associated with the printer to your computer.
    2. Restart your PC.
    3. Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8710: Scans PDF and editable text will not save

    When I scan a document to searchable PDF or won't save a resulting file to editable text (OCR).

    The error message says "The Application from HP could not save the file to the specified location."

    I tried to save in various different locations with the same result.

    I can save other formats including PDF and normal images.

    Right click on the start icon and select programs and features.

    Locate the I.R.I.S OCR application and uninstall it.

    Then download and run the latest drivers for your printer below:

    Once the installation is displayed, close the specified window.

    Then, right click the button start and select run.

    type %temp%, and then press OK.

    Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
    Open the optional folder.
    Right-click on IrisOCR.msi (Windows Installer), then choose install.

    Once this is done, open the HP software and try to scan the image, you can see any difference?

    I use the HP Scan application and the error message: -.

    appears when you try to save in a folder as a PDF or any other format.

    Ironically, if I'm going by sending to the printer and then save to PDF it works!

    I checked and I'm using 4.2.2 with El Capitan HP driver software

    Any thoughts?

    The application from HP for your printer is not compatible with El Capitan, so the output files incorrectly recorded.

    In the Hewlett-Packard folder move HP Scan to the trash and empty it.

  • Using Vista, WiFi will not automatically connect after that reboot - config "connect automatically" will not save after reboot.

    Using my Lenovo with Vista laptop, the wireless re-does not after I stop/restart.

    I checked the "connect automatically when this network is in range" parameter in the configuration Wifi, but the box always becomes disabled after that I reload.  Why this configuration will not save after that I reload?

  • After upgrade to Vista, the desktop Setup does not save, but he returned each time unwanted installation

    My computer (laptop) did an automatic update of Vista. Since the restart, he lost all cookies, and all applications have behaved as if they were never used.  The files are OK. I had to reset the desktop resolution because it came with something too big. The aspect ratio of the sidebar is also evil in this default value. The clock appears as an oval, for example.     caused by the last windows update. I think that the file was KB2524375. I have
    uninstalled and everything is back to normal. The windows update (which
    says he has been recommended by Microsoft) completely changes the configuration, disable
    Aero, etc. so changes can not be made.
    There is no error message, it was as if he superimposed a very primitive
    version of windows. Of course, I do not recommend this update.

  • Scan does NOT save to .jpeg

    C410a all-in-One guidance is clear... Press scan and save it as JPEG to a USB stick or a memory card. Have scanned a document at the same time, at specific times, and is the saved file (read when I insert the way to read from my PC). HPIMAGE. VFS. Cannot find application to read the. VFS and convert .jpeg or .pdf. Appreciate any help.

    MAHtrouble, your USB key (or whatever card you used) there should also be a folder named DCIM. This is the default folder that creates and updates the image files in the printer. Open this folder to find your scanned images.

    The VFS is just a Temp file with the HP printer uses to navigate recorded with more images soon. It is not supposed to be opened by you and can be ignored.

  • Need to Format, any serious, not from Vista DVD with pc problem

    I bought a m8300f HP from Circuit City last year. It's a great PC. I had the fire-dog team (the equivalent of Best Buy Geek Squad) install a nVidia GeForce 8800 GT video card in the computer, because the lack of a decent video card is the only complaint I had. They have done professionally without voiding the warranty.

    It's been a year now, I moved away from this place of Circuit City, and the company will also slowly out of business. I'm here, and my computer is having a problem. It is with direct X or something else like a virus. Be that as it may, I am unable to run 80% of games on my PC (it's almost 30 games old like System Shock 2 and as new as Crysis Warhead).

    This isn't my problem. I do not in the face of that, I'm looking at the Format Office (as I've been meaning to for a month or two now) which will probably solve some problem I have (aka get rid of the virus, where it exists - and I scanned twice - or start over from scratch with direct-X.)

    Here's my problem: I want to format drives C and E of the desktop computer, which normally is easy, HOWEVER:

    1. the office is bought in-store, so I had no DVD installation Vista or Vista Serial Key #. I don't have installation CD

    2. I never had any type of installation CD for my card GeForce 8800 video Circuit City installed without extra cost other than the purchase price.

    3. I have NO installation CD for ANY program, any driver, whatever it is. I have a desktop computer that needs reformatting and nothing more than that. No CD, no papers with n ° of series's. absolutely nothing.

    What can I do? It is even POSSIBLE to format? Can I save Vista and all the drivers required to install once it has finished formatting?

    Or am I "screwed"?

    I look forward to a response and I can answer any additional questions. I have all day free and I have 35 DVD-R and CD - R 50, just in case I have to save something.

    Edit: I have Word from someone else that I don't need any other CD for my desktop PC. I use the onboard sound of my motherboard. They told me that my nVidia card I could get the drivers on the internet and I could do the same thing for my processor etc. He's right? He said everything I need to worry is to get my vista OS re-installed, and after that the computer runs like new?

    In fact, I just started my pc and found the Recovery Manager of the system that supposedly it resets to factory settings and re installed Vista on its own.

    We'll see if it actually works. Thanks if. I appreciate the help, better phone service who was trying to charge me $ 100 to renew my warranty of the phone support when all I need to know had nothing to do with HP, and everything to do with the way Windows works

  • The analyses do not save on computer

    HP Officejet Pro L7680 all-in-One - ethernet wired to the router of capsule appletime.  Wireless for laptop Studio of Dell XPS 1640, 64-bit, Vista Home premium OS. Version 14 HP Centre of Solution.

    Everything works well except scans disappear after scanning.  I rebooted, disconnected and started, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver several times and run the troubleshooting HP software.  Nothing solves the problem.  It worked fine when I first came to this printer, and then one day it no longer works.

    This happened more than two years.  I even paid iYogi to solve the problem and after many hours of them control my computer, they have given up and said that they could not do.  They said I had to contact HP.  I just lived with it because I don't want to invest more money in this problem.  The last time that I asked HP for help with a question, they just sold me a new printer... this one.  This day expertise is probably the last time I'll try to fix it.

  • HP3520 scan and save it to file

    I also have an old scanner flat HP2400. Scanned image is saved in my ScannerImagePrive folder on my pc (Packard Bell with Vista). An image scanned in August 2013 will be saved in the C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\ScannerImagesPrive\2013-08(aug file). During the beginning of September, a new folder C:\Users\...\ScannerImagesPrive\2013-09(sep made following analysis) will be becreated and new scanned image is saved in the new file automatically. A wonderful and effective solution.

    With my 3520, scanned images will be saved in C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\ScannerImagesPrive\ not in the folder existing for the respective month.

    Where and how can I configure images scanned from my HP3520 will be saved in the same way as with my HP2400

    I don't know exactly what you're talking about. I have an older HP and was last night with the digitization Solution Center. I came across the option to set the scan to save in a folder under monthly to this older software.

    The old HP 2400 uses older than the HP 3520 software. 3520 software does not allow for the option you are looking for. I checked the settings in the HP scan under Advanced settings and Destination folder and options do not find.

    Only I can suggest you create your own monthly subfolders in the main folder, you save to and each month you will need to change your scan destination to the folder of the month. It's certainly not as convenient, but it's the only option I can think. Automatic is always more convenient than the manual, but I thought that this suggestion was better then not at all.

    I always love this printer and do not want to give up yet.  I was able to scan and save to PDF in the window 8 but after upgrade, I am unable to find a driver upgrade to be able to scan and save to the PDF format.  I can only managed to save. TIF, PNG or JPEG.  I need to scan and save to PDF to send an acknowledgement of health to the health care provider.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • When I scan for Windows Vista Service Pack update (published 4/2009) comes in,

    I redid my computer a few months ago restore to factory settings and restore my files from a backup disk. Everything seemed to work properly.  A few weeks ago a full scan found a worm & some virus which I removed. Now, I have a problem with the updates. When I scan for Windows Vista Service Pack update (published 4/2009) arrives.  When I click to install it, it is saying it is correctly installed (in 30 seconds) and yet he continues to come when I'm scanning for updates.    Should I restore settings again?  After looking for info on the forums of windows, I did the System File Checker to check corrupt files.  Several corrupted files appear in the details of the SFC.  But their fixation is "over my head".   I glued the SFC details below. Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you
