HP C3180 printer: restore the backed up files

Hello

With the help of Sunshyn2005, I recently realized a system recovery to restore the HP Solution Center I had

lost that has fortunately been successful, now I want to replace the backup files that have been put on a USB key.

Sunshyn2005 told me to put the files on my desktop, find the backup folder and open then open an exe file to restore.

My problem is I can not find this file to open and I have no idea of what we call the name of the file I'm looking for or where it could exist and I've done a search without success the only file I've met are theHP recovery Partition and this does not open upward to display this exe file that I need.

I have windows 8.1 which at the moment I am lost on where things are except 'This PC' and that did not help me.

I took the first step and copied the files on my desk if anyone can help me find this folder to restore these files and complete the task.

Cordially Eject2

You probably just take possession of the files you just restore.

  • How to print on the back of the photo paper and it will dry.

I need to print on the back of some pictures I have. I use a HP Officejet Pro 8500 with the help of Windows 7. I tried to print on these photos, but the ink not dry not.

The book that I use is brilliant all the days of 4 x 6 photo paper.

What should I change in the settings to get the ink dry?

    Hello

most of the Photo book you will only print on one side.

Unless the Photo paper is designed for double-sided printing, you will not be able to print on the back of the paper.

There is no different parameters to one side, it only depends of the medium used.

  • How to restore the menu bar (file-editing-display) PDF?

How to restore the menu bar (file-editing-display) PDF? I use version Adobe Acrobat 8.1.3. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Kolja

I had a similar problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro X, where the menu bar would not appear.  I was able to get menu bar to appear if I resized the document by placing the pointer on the right, left, top or bottom of the document (you see a double arrow), and then by clicking and dragging.

The problem was definitely solved for all documents by opening Adobe Acrobat without having to open a document.  Then click on Edit in the menu bar.  Then click on Preferences.  In the preferences of the box click on full screen at the top left.  Then find the section Navigation screen complete.  Check the box show the Navigation bar.  Finally click on OK at the bottom right.

I hope this helps someone and saves a lot of frustration.

  • How to restore the system recovery files to their original location? (HP Pavilion p6540F desktop computer)

I have a desktop HP Pavilion P6540F under Windows 7 Home Premium. A few days ago there was a problem with windows that virtually wiped out my OS and I had to restore my computer to factory settings. Before restoring my computer I backed up all my files on a disk. After Reinstalling windows, I placed the drive with all my files recovery on it in my computer and running the recovery .exe file that has started downloading my files. All of this worked perfectly well but the problem is that these files only stored in a file on my desktop and has not been restored to its original location. Is it possible to get these files to restore to the correct locations on my computer without having to manually, drag the files to their old location? Honestly, I don't know where many of these files were located before the restoration and many items such as preferences for certain programs are impossible for me to move. Thanks for the help.

The backup that is used to recover only restores the files in a folder, leaving the owner to move. I agree, not the application of backup more useful, but better than nothing I guess.

  • Restore the backed up Notes of Time Machine

I was automatically save my com.apple.Notes on the time Machine and it's time that I need to restore an older version of the Notes. So I entered the Time Machine and restored the old version and that worked fine. I can see the dates of the oldest record in the shell in /Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes < user >... / and they correspond to the older than date. I closed the application Notes before restoring and then re-opened, but it still shows the changes of today. So I rebooted the machine, but no luck. I cleared up the Caches in the library folder, but once again no luck. The idea of Time Machine must be able to restore the old data. This case does not seem to approach this concept. Is readind Notes anywhere else? I ran a global command on "/" as root and search notes. None of the successes that were matched today so where Notes read? How can I read my freshly restored older Notes folders?

Thanks in advance for any comments on this.

This procedure returns the database of Notes of the set to an earlier version. It is not possible to restore individual notes.

Please stop the Notes application is running.

1 triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes

Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

Services ▹ reveal in Finder (or just to reveal)

of the contextual menu.*, a file must open with a selected item named "com.apple.Notes". Move the selected item to the trash, then restore it from a backup prior to the unwanted change. If you make a backup with Time Machine, enter it and select the snapshot you want to restore from.

    2. make as in step 1 with this line:

    ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.notes

This time the selected item will be "group.com.apple.notes", otherwise you may get an alert that the item does not exist. The latter case, skip this step.

3 log off or restart the computer, and empty the trash. Launch of Notes. You can see a "Welcome to Notes" splash screen, as if you had never started. Click on continue.

    4. If you synchronize Notes with iCloud or another network service, notes that you restored may be immediately deleted after you restore the. In this case, temporarily, disconnect from the Internet, for example by turning off your adapter broadband and restore again. Copy the contents of each note of a document in another application, such as TextEdit. Reconnect to the Internet. If the notes are deleted, recreate them in TextEdit document. They should then synchronize to the network.

    * If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

  • After I print something, the back button disappears. How to fix? He's never done that with 3.5, but made with 4 or 5

When you navigate around a site, if I stop and print a copy of a post or something after I'm done the back button no longer works and I have to exit firefox and go back and start over. As mentioned, that never happened with previous editions of firefox, but when I upgraded to 4.0, so I uninstalled and went back to 3.6 where the problem has disappeared. I upgraded to 5.0, the problem has been fixed, but it still happens hope. A way to solve this problem, in addition to return to 3.6? Thank you, Henry

Try mode without failure of Firefox.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    1. You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    2. Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  • MX922 white duplex printing on the back of page 1

When you print using duplex printing, the printer prints page 1, let white back, then prints page 2 at the last in duplex, as it should be. Seems a little odd, that if there is an odd number of pages, the test blank must be at the back of the last page, not page 1.

    Hi steelslicer,

You can try to uncheck the option 'Print last Page' in the printer driver to see if that will solve the problem.  To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. go into your START Menu, then select DEVICES AND PRINTERS.

2 right-click on the icon for your PIXMA MX922, and then press Select PRINTING PREFERENCES.

    3. click on the PAGE SETUP tab.

4 locate the duplex printing section near the bottom of the window, and then uncheck the box for duplex printing.  When the box is unchecked, please uncheck the box to PRINT OF LAST PAGE, then check again the duplex printing check box.

    5. click the button OK at the bottom of the window to save the changes, and then try to print again.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to print on the back of a card in Photo Creations

I want to put photos/text on the back of a card in Photo Creations, how do I do this?

    Hello again, JaysMother.

Are cards ship-to-home, or do you print at home? To print at home, you could do a second card that has just the front and white image inside surfaces (use the flat white theme). Feed in the paper with new, upside down. Experience with plain paper first to make sure that everything is the tail as you wish.

  • Identify the elements of L1 backup and restore the last control file

    DB version: 11.2
    Platform: Solaris 11

We went to a database of development last month. But we kept backups rman Level0 and Level1 more archive logs generated after the last L1.
Our N0 and N1 were planned with an interval of 4 days.

The dev team now wants this DB restore in another machine. In a catalog schema, we did not keep the rman metadata. All we have is the backup pieces.

I don't know which of the backup are those who is from L0 and L1. If I managed to restore the last file to control the last backup of L1, then things will be easy. What happens if I am wrong to restore the old file of control of L0, which has no info on any new datafiles/tempfiles that I added after than L0.

    You guys, how such situations?

After you restore the controlfile, simply ALTER DATABASE MOUNT, and delivers then a BACKUP of the LIST. The list will show you what knows the controlfile-if it shows the L0 and L1 of backups, you can use it. If it shows only the L0 backup, try to restore the 'other' controlfile.
If you can see the timestamps of the backuppieces, which could help identify who's the backup "later."
