HP c6380: HP Solution Center stopped working

HP Solution Center has stopped working. I am able to print, but the function in an analysis center solution no longer works.

I use Windows 7. I can scan if I plug in the USB cable, but not using a wireless connection. Works only for printing. I used HP Scan and printing doctor, but that has not solved the problem.

I've seen a number of positions with various suggestions (install Macromedia Flash Player, reinstall the driver, etc.) that did not work. I would like to hear how others have solved this problem or, better yet, how HP addressed.

Thanks for getting back to me anderswolf! Maybe a level 3 uninstall and reinstall, will help launch the software in speed to operate again on your computer.

Perform a level 3 uninstall if you have an HP computer or a level 4 uninstall if you have a computer not HP.
There are 2 ways you can run levels:

Of the Original installation CD:
1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
2. open "Computer", and then right click on CD drive and open
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7. run the download to reinstall the printer: HP Photosmart full feature software and drivers

If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. Click Start and type %temp% in the search field and press ENTER to open the Temp folder
2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one, choose the most recent folder)
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7. run the download to reinstall the printer

I hope that helps you out!

    Hi NickMeyer,

    1. have you made a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

You can check if there is information in Event Viewer which may help us to solve the problem:

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?

You can also temporarily disable the security software and firewall installed on the system and check if the problem persists.

Note: Be sure to enable the security software on the computer after checking.

    Hope this information is useful.

I use Windows Vista and that you cannot use Windows Media Center, Media Player, Media Player Classic or Windows DVD Maker.

When I try and play a video file for example, I immediately have an error message saying that "Windows Media Player has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Same message for attempting to use one of the other programs listed.

I tried to reboot, I checked for updates and Windows Vista Service Pack 2 installed and I used the Microsoft fix it solution to 'Windows Media Player stops responding after you install a third-party product that registers its own version of the Wmp.dll file' (using both the "fix it for me" and "Let me fix it myself" options).

Unfortunately that I do not have a restore to restore point, my only option was to restore to the point before you install Windows Vista Service Pack 2, but my problem before this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I think that the problem may have started when I updated a program, I used without any problems in the past ("Format Factory"), because I can't think of anything that may have done so.

  • HP 4500 GS10n-z: Solution Center not working not not for Win 7

My Solution Center has just stopped working, I tried all the solutions I found here, including empty the temporary files, unistalling and current features and drivers, replacement hpqscloc complete software installation.  I noticed that a recent update of Microsoft 3132372 raises questions on 10 to win, but this update does not appear on my computer.  I wonder if different update for Windows 7 is the culprit, since when I run HP and Scan Doctor for Windows printing, the printer will scan, but displays an error to the Solution Center.  The weird part is that I don't even show Solution Center on my list of program isntalled EXCEPT when I try to run the full feature software and drivers, then it shows already installed sound.

    Any ideas?

    Rainbow7000,

Finally got everything working. First using System Scan, then unistall4, then analysis system, unistall4, and twice as much for good luck restarting after each process.  Then using CC Cleaner, I uninstalled all HP programs remaining. Reset. Then an analysis of the system again. Restart the registry then using CC Cleaner cleaning.  Reset. Then I emptied the Temp folder.  An analysis over system. Reset.  Delete all files on the HP System. Reset

Finally, printer Install Wizard and voila!  With the printer connected via USB, the rest of the installation of f smooth including wireless setup.  We didn't know re restart and Solution HP now works!

I have the old Flashplayer10X on my system, but I don't care!  I never use IE anyway, so having this obsolete version on my computer shouldn't matter. I'm so happy to have Sokutin Center works again

    Thanks for your help!

  • OfficeJet pro k5400 solution center stops

The solution center is installed, but insists there is no unit printing HP-not found, and that is why the Solution Center will be stopped, even when the printer is installed and working properly. Everything works the 'doctor', reports OK, too.

I have a local network with two PCs and the printer is connected via the net. The PC is running XP and there, the center of Solution works OK. But not on the other who runs the Vista.

Sorry for typo's fault, it's corrected now.

  • SOLUTION: Get Win 7 printer drivers/HP Solution Center for work on Windows 8

Took me some time to understand it, but I managed to do the work.

    First of all, the preliminaries:

I have a laptop HP dv9700t running the 64-bit version of Windows 8 Pro RTM (not the preview, but I guess it will work as well on the preview).  My printer is a HP Photosmart C7280.  If you have a different printer, it is possible that something similar to how I solved my problem will help you, especially by running your installation in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode files.

Windows 8 is provided with printer C7280 stock drivers that work by going to control panel > printers and devices > add a printer, but there is only limited to those features.  As such, I wanted to run the HP Setup files have increased functionality.

Unfortunately, when I run the full installer of HP for my printer, there was no button 'Install a printer', or one of the other usual buttons.  There was only one button "quit".

Here's how to let him run and install correctly.

Right click on the HP full installation file, then properties > compatibility > then check the box "run this program in compatibility mode for:", select "Windows 7" in the drop-down list box, then click on 'OK'.

Run the installation file as you would normally in Windows 7.

I tried this two ways... first when you're connected via a USB cable.  It works perfectly without error.

I also tried with the printer connected to the network via WiFi.  A few problems.

The installation program detects my printer very well, and I clicked 'Next' or 'OK' or whatever the prompt was to install the printer.  The installation would hang 'Response of SNMP' (or something similar) and it would list the IP address of my printer.  I waited, waited, waited for an hour, and it would not go beyond that.  Not to worry.

Proceed with the normal installation until you get the message 'Response of SNMP' and the installation fails.

Enter with CTRL-ALT-DEL Task Manager.  You will see an entry in the 'Apps' to the installer of HP... DROP.

Below the "Apps" list, you will see the list of "background processes".  In this list is something along the lines of "HP Network Interface user", or something similar, consuming a significant amount of CPU.  Highlight this entry and click "End task" downstairs.

The "SNMP" window closes and your installer will end then normally and your printer/fax/scanner will be installed correctly.  HP Solution Center works normally, like printing, scanning, etc.

The next person who uses that will give a few comments and also answer a few questions for me so I can update this post with more specific information?

Please let me know what is the exact "SNMP" message when the installation is blocked.  Please let me also know that the exact name of the background process "HP Network User Interface" is, and the name of app Installation HP.

I hope this will help you.

Glad to hear that a form any of my solution works for others.

  • Catalyst Control Center stopped working - error CLR20r3

    Hello

I recently bought a game, Armed Assault, which is not a whole new game and my Satellite (I'm sorry, but I don't know exactly which series) has the requirementes right good graphics system.

I know that the GPU of my graphics (ATI Radeon 4200 Mobile) is not the best, but I had to do the graphics as low as possible to get a stable framerate.

So, I wanted to find the graphics card with the Catalyst Control Center settings... but this no longer works, it just does not start and says that there is an error CLR20r3 and that the Application has stopped working.

It's not bad for me, but I was wondering if I can change all the options or something like that to make the fastest GPU / more effective?

    Hello

CLR20r3 error can be caused by damaged registry entries
I would first recommend setting the BONE at the beginning point of time before this error appears
Use the internal tool to restore the system Win 7.

If this does not work, uninstall the graphics card ATI catalyst and .NET framework system.
Then install the CCLeaner and clean the system and the registry.
Reboot several times run CCLeaner once more and install the software deleted once more.

  • Solutions Center is working, now black screen in white. HP C6280 on WIndows 7.

This problem did not come forward, or the answer is not in terms that I can only understand/identify. I have Windows 7 and printer HP Photosmart 6280. It works very well. Suddenly, the Solution Center is just a white square of black. It still prints, if I hit print, and it will scan, if I use the buttons on the front of the printer. It does not, however, the computer more than I can not get the solution center to see the choices. When I try to reload the program from the disk, the AutoPlay does not work, if I find the setup.exe file, when I click it, it says this does not work in Windows 7, however, he has worked up to this point. I have XP mode set up on this but I can't seem to make it work when I try to run in the framework. I am very ignorant on this stuff, so I need an answer in terms of syllabuls small and not assuming that I know what people are talking about? I can't, of course, actually talk to someone at HP for assistance.

    Hello

Please, try the following steps and check for any changes:

    1. Open the control panel.
    2. Search for uninstall a program or programs and features.
    3. Uninstall Adobe Flash by selecting the software in the list and hitting the uninstall (you can have multiple lines for the reader, plugin, etc.). Be sure to remove any component of Adobe Flash.
    4. Visit Adobe for the most recent version:

  • HP Solution Center not working after reboot (scan fails also)

My HP Photosmart 3310 software fails after a reboot, the day or the installation of the printer in Windows 7 64 bit.  No error - it is said that installation is not completed and to connect the USB cable (it worked only 1 hour ago), or the printer is offline.  I can reach the printer via IP (192.168.1.64 - static IP).  The other computers in the House are printing and scanning very well.

Help I received via the software discussion and support forums is to re - install the software.  I did it more than 20 times - it does NOT work. Let me repeat if you have not received this the first time - software does NOT solve the problem.

The scanner and the printer work fine after that the software is completely installed.  The problem is that the printer and the scanner work not the next day.

    Yes, I tried:

    1. check the latest system and windows updates.

    2. turned and on the firewall.

    3. pull on the printer and connect via a USB cable.  "" The installation is complete, but I can't run this way. The problem comes back the next day when I tried using the printer as a network through the router.

4 when I "add" the printer to Windows printers list, it causes the software HP Solution Center to enter the "incomplete installation error.  Then, either the scanner or printer works, not both at the same time.  Other computers work fine.

    5. it's a brand new computer, if any old malware running.

    6. I uninstalled, reinstalled, installed multiple copies, etc. of the latest version of the software from this site (AIO_CDB_FSW_Full_Win_WW_130_141) printer.

    7. I ran the software patch network of HP, before and after the reboot, no real effect.  (CPE_SLP_NETWORKMSI_hpcom_000_006)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Rich

I found a solution to the issue of scanner!  I installed the software VueScan from http://www.hamrick.com/ , the software is designed for high end photo editing, so it's a no-brainer for her to scan documents.  The free version works fine. If I wanted to the cost of the professional version of the $90 is nothing compared to the time I've wasted on getting the HP software to work.

To resolve the problem of the printer, I installed the driver through windows and bypassed the HP software.  The only thing that miss me is now the ability to fax, but which can be performed directly from the HP Photosmart camera.

    -Restart the program.

    Hey @gigi1966,

I would like to take a moment to thank you. Thank you for your patience and perseverance. I guess you feel like you've been to the Moon and back with all this troubleshooting!

-We will continue to try to catch a solution

It starts to sound like maybe the problem is related to the registry database. Personally, I don't like to tinker in the registry manually, instead, you can use a registry cleaner. My preference goes to CCleaner.  - How to use CCleaner.

Installing software on the computer with a registry key, its place would be like trying to paint a wall with a hole in it, you need to patch the hole first. Repair the registry, and then reinstall the software. Registry cleaners can be useful tools to solve certain types of problems in the registry, as those that are created when a program does not properly uninstall or a malware infection is not cleaned properly.

This suggestion is not a document of HP, it is my own opinion. My preference is CCleaner, I use it on my computers. If you have a registry cleaner already, or that you prefer, you can use it.

Until we move on an attempt to reinstall the software, we will perform a clean boot too. Instructions below:

    1. Click Start and type msconfig in the search box.
    2. Press enter.
    3. On the general tab, click Selective startup.
    4. Clear the Load Startup items check box.
    5. Click the Services tab.
    6. Select the hide all Microsoft services check box (bottom).
    7. Click disable all.
    8. Click OK.
    9. Click restart.

After installing the software, restore your system startup with the following steps:

    1. Click Start and type msconfig in the search box.
    2. Press enter.
    3. On the general tab, select Normal startup.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Click Yes when asked to restart your computer.

Please let me know how it works.
