HP Color Laser Jet 1600 in grayscale only print
Using Windows 7, photographs BOF emails only print in grayscale. The image is in color but in grayscale when played back before printing. What adjustments should be made?

We have just received our Laser Jet printer and tried to print a PDF document that has a barcode in the lower left corner. The document print very well however the barcode area is empty and the numbers under the barcode are printed.

Most likely, it is a problem of driver on Windows 10. Did you recently do an update? Some of the updates of drivers to kill.
First of all, just try dumping the entire driver from your computer. Erase any trace of it. Then, download and reinstall the drivers and reconnect/reinstall. If you have USB, then it can never work right. Windows 10 hate really older printers connected via USB. You may need to connect through the network. If you have a wired or wireless router, get a Cat5 cable and plug.
If reinstallation does not work... Search for a 2605 driver and see if it will work. The 1600 is a 'Lite' version of the 2600/2605 and rests more on the computer for the execution of the work. (aka host after)
This may or may not work. I'm just you try things I would do on a customer site if I called on this issue. Unfortunately it's so some 1600 running left that few people will have answers. I don't have answers on the 1600 specifically, but am just relating to other similar situations, I've met.
I got color printers and multifunction not working on Windows 10 and other motor coaches next models. It seems that they ignored the wishes of the printer when it is fighting the drivers and just forced to work. You may have few features as the standard mode only, not the modes of picture or project, etc.
Also, do not try to print documents network or the internet. This will give you a buffer overrun. Place them in a folder on your PC and then open and print.

Really hoping that someone can put this issue to bed for me, because I spent all afternoon trying to solve this one. I work in an elementary school as the Co-ordinator CT, one of the teachers what is the printer of the staff to settle on his laptop in the classroom, but hey guess what the disc facility is not the case to be found. heard you can load it it from the Internet, is this correct and if so, how do I and where do I find the correct Web page.

I am the owner of a color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro. I get updates almost every week, and the software update is very strange. I'm clicking on the update system, it takes a lot of time to meet up with the text saying I'll remove the actual update or add another device. When I say no, thanks, I'll get a message saying that my update was successful (but only if I have to cancel this message). I don't understand why I have to go through this illogical question. Also, I don't understand why it is not necessary to update very frequently, especially when there is no explanation of the reason why.
The two just exclamation points annoy me because I think that there must be a problem with the software, even if the printer works well.

No, it only supports printing double-sided, recto verso but scan copy not duplex from the Manual:
For about a week, I have the following problem with my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: after 2-3 pages of printing, the device stops abruptly in the middle of a job and the light number 5 (paper) continues at the flashing light.
However, the bin is full with paper.
Ignitions and extinctions help only for another 2-3 pages, then printing will stop again as described above.
Is there maybe a photoelectric cell that needs to be cleaned or a mechanical part that gives the status of bad paper from the paper tray to the printer?

I can see how frustrating it would be. To determine the cause, we need to use more than one document. Redundant that some steps may seem, I would execute all.
Please, try the steps in this these guides:
- HP Laserjet CP1215 and printers CP1217 - 'paper ' Error Message is displayed and the printer does not look upward or feeding paper.
- The Paper Jam flashing on HP Color LaserJet CP1215, CP1217 printer.
If the problem persists, try a hard reset:
- Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
- Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted. Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish. Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem. We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago. Is this all we can try?
Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.
I bought a cm1321nfi HP Color Laser Jet printer. The printer is installed, but not all drivers. The notorious HP EWS reader is not installed and I can't get the scanner to work without it. Help, please!
As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and scanner and their drivers provided.
Check with HP Support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums.
Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

We already tried updates of pilot, suggestions of shoot of problems that arise automatically, and simply turn the device. Copy always unit starting from the plateau.

This morning I just restarted the computer and who got the scanner going again. That said, I can always check the driver software and try these links to determine what really happened. Also, the computer is running windows 7.

I have the HP Color Laser Jet 2605dn. recently when I launched a print, a 49 error appear on the screen and the printer stops and restarts. He then "Print Document" but nothing prints. Anyone know what is the solution to this problem?

My new laser Jet worked very well until I followed the instructions on the printer for an automatic update. Now print is ruined. Page layout is described in gray, and look bad color photos. This happened DIRECTLY after that I said yes to the screen to update printer on the printer itself. I did not change my Mac.
I tried closing printer, computer shutdown, and then restart the printer, then restart the computer.
The Configuration report (can barely read.) Firmware Datacode says: 20160331, which is apparently the most recent printing for my model software.

The printer was so easy to set up and worked wonders for 200 pages that I sent to him so far, until I said yes to an update. Wish really to say yes to that, but I just assumed it would work as well as everything else.

After trying countless things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and download the latest driver, I called Technical Support. The number is on the internet, not on HP. 800-334-5144 where you need it. They continue to try to trick you online, but eventually, you get to someone who can help.
When I described the print results, I was getting, she had me do the cleaning Page, 3 x and 3 x color calibration, which corrects the problem.
The problem of updating firmware with the trainer, is what I * think * she said.
If your printer works fine... DON'T let NOT download an update.

I'm trying to implement the network folder with my Color Laser Jet Pro M277dw and my MacBook Air with OS X 10.10.5 MFP scanning. I've implemented the SMB shared folder as indicated, you can see here where I gave everyone access read/write:

My hp 4600 color Laser Jet uses a parallel cable to connect to a Windows PC. When I had XP as the OS it worked fine. But now after the upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 64-bit OS it will not work and my PC does not even recognize it when it is plugged into the PC with the parallel to USB cable that worked so well before. So, what should I do to get the PC to recognize the Hp 4600 and have it printed again as before? (My first plan is to try to get the printer to work by hooking up through Wireless. According to the HP support site, there are drivers available for Vista and Windows 7 If you're lucky it. Download the appropriate drivers for your computers. According to the information of product from HP, this printer can be connected directly to the network by an ethernet cable. I don't see where it has wireless capability, but in any case ethernet is preferable for printer connections if possible.
Connect the printer directly to your router or switch connected to your router and assign a static IP address outside the range the router DHCP. Then, install the drivers that you got from the HP website for your operating system.
