HP Color Laser Jet CM6040: scratches when printing CM6040

I have a very annoying problem with my print quality which causes the color to the burrs. Whenever I have print something on my laser jet CM6040 color it leaves a strip of color at the top of the page that spots and affects all pages.
Recently it was also printing this band at the bottom of the page that you can see in the picture as an attachment. It tends to be worse in the morning when I get to work and first print something and tends to be bad after sitting idle for a while. We have installed a new fusion kit fairly recently so would avoid buying another so soon.

Can anyone help or everyone knows that before?

Think about how the image is made on paper. The flow of paper to the top of the side of the printer tray and a secondary transfer roller moves the image of the belt (just the little strip of paper feeds more) in order to fill the document with the complete picture. Continutes to travel at the front of the belt is a wiper brush that removes the residual toner was not transferred to the book and the back side of the belt if another page is printing is the image placed on it as the belt moves on the toner drums. If passed, then the blade may have corrected itself. If the lines are still present, the blade is bad and the belt needs to be replaced. The cost of the belt is high. You could contact a company like metrofuser.com that may or may not sell belt given to nine for your model see if they have your model in stock. The cost is generally 1/2 of what you have to pay for a new belt, but you will need to return the old belt to them.

  • Color Laser Jet MFP M177fw Pro: Printer is not recognized by the devices.

    When connected to a computer via the usb - B to usb at the back of the device connection, computers do not get a signal telling them that they are connected to anything. The computer windows 7 behaves as there is nothing plugged and a Mac running 10.9.5 simply gives the error message "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer. When I try to download the drivers for the device manually, the installation of HP can't find the printer in the devices, even when it is plugged. Both computers have been restarted, several cables (who work for other printers and are located in the length of HP limit) are the same exact behavior.

    Solution has been found, windows 7 update, but a driver do not go along, while some things have worked when it is plugged. HP partner, effects no side windows just weird.

    For those who read this topic after googling their problems: updated all the drivers. EACH OF THEM.

  • HP Color Laser Jet CP2025: double-sided printing disabled in Windows 10

    I just upgraded to Windows 10 and downloaded the latest driver for my printer. I can't find any setting of double-sided printing. Is there something that I am missing. I tried to download the Toolbox, but it does not work on a 64-bit computer.

    The function "automatic detection" used by some (Windows) drivers on the install (or update) does not always; make sure the driver knows that a duplex unit is present on the printer (assuming that a single is present):

    • For the instance of the printer in question, bring up the printer properties dialogue.
    • Select the device settings tab.
    • Make sure the duplex unit is set to installed and not installed.

    You will probably need to be logged in with administrator credentials in order to change the settings of the device.

  • HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: print - guard 'book light' flashing - printer stops charging of paper does not alter

    Hello!

    For about a week, I have the following problem with my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: after 2-3 pages of printing, the device stops abruptly in the middle of a job and the light number 5 (paper) continues at the flashing light.

    However, the bin is full with paper.

    Ignitions and extinctions help only for another 2-3 pages, then printing will stop again as described above.

    Is there maybe a photoelectric cell that needs to be cleaned or a mechanical part that gives the status of bad paper from the paper tray to the printer?

    I can see how frustrating it would be. To determine the cause, we need to use more than one document. Redundant that some steps may seem, I would execute all.

    Please, try the steps in this these guides:

    If the problem persists, try a hard reset:

    • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  • Color Laser JEt MFP M477fd Pro: automatic update of ruined printers print

    My new laser Jet worked very well until I followed the instructions on the printer for an automatic update. Now print is ruined. Page layout is described in gray, and look bad color photos. This happened DIRECTLY after that I said yes to the screen to update printer on the printer itself. I did not change my Mac.

    I tried closing printer, computer shutdown, and then restart the printer, then restart the computer.

    The Configuration report (can barely read.) Firmware Datacode says: 20160331, which is apparently the most recent printing for my model software.

    After trying countless things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and download the latest driver, I called Technical Support. The number is on the internet, not on HP. 800-334-5144 where you need it. They continue to try to trick you online, but eventually, you get to someone who can help.

    When I described the print results, I was getting, she had me do the cleaning Page, 3 x and 3 x color calibration, which corrects the problem.

    The problem of updating firmware with the trainer, is what I * think * she said.

    If your printer works fine... DON'T let NOT download an update.

  • How to get a hp 4600 Color Laser jet print on a vista or Windows 7 64 - bit OS PC which does not have a parallel port connection?

    My hp 4600 color Laser Jet uses a parallel cable to connect to a Windows PC. When I had XP as the OS it worked fine. But now after the upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 64-bit OS it will not work and my PC does not even recognize it when it is plugged into the PC with the parallel to USB cable that worked so well before. So, what should I do to get the PC to recognize the Hp 4600 and have it printed again as before? (My first plan is to try to get the printer to work by hooking up through Wireless. Does anyone know if it will work? I'll answer my own question, if it does. Wish me luck! (Thank you!)

    According to the HP support site, there are drivers available for Vista and Windows 7 If you're lucky it. Download the appropriate drivers for your computers. According to the information of product from HP, this printer can be connected directly to the network by an ethernet cable. I don't see where it has wireless capability, but in any case ethernet is preferable for printer connections if possible.

    Connect the printer directly to your router or switch connected to your router and assign a static IP address outside the range the router DHCP. Then, install the drivers that you got from the HP website for your operating system.

    I have a HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 connected to a Windows7 64 bit operating system. The printer prints the shadows cast on the left and right of the paper edges, but also the light shadows in the printing.  I saw the HP Toolbox for my printer and tried to print a cleaning page.  All I get is a text box indicating that the printer could not be accessed, even if it will calibrate and print a test page. I need different drivers or is there another solution?

    There could be a problem with the toner or the fuser unit causing this problem.

    Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. Try running Cleanup again.

    I am the owner of a color Laser Jet MFP M277dw Pro. I get updates almost every week, and the software update is very strange. I'm clicking on the update system, it takes a lot of time to meet up with the text saying I'll remove the actual update or add another device. When I say no, thanks, I'll get a message saying that my update was successful (but only if I have to cancel this message). I don't understand why I have to go through this illogical question. Also, I don't understand why it is not necessary to update very frequently, especially when there is no explanation of the reason why.

    The two just exclamation points annoy me because I think that there must be a problem with the software, even if the printer works well.

    Given that the printer works, I would say to hide updates.

    A poster tried to show or hide updates and it solved their problem.
