HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfiMFP: stuck in an endless loop of the initialization of the

First of all, the printer screen is blue with hp logo.  Then he briefly turns to purple and Green ready light and orange the exclamation mark flash.  Then it says Initializing while two lights continue to Flash.  The loan appears briefly, and then he said: printing and sounds like it is printing, but no paper comes out.  Then it starts again. And if I try to send a document from my laptop to the printer, it says, "Printer error state."

The printer warranty has expired.  I hope you can help!  Thank you in advance!

You have probably a bad job trying to print from the computer that confuses the printer each time that the printer is ready and starts the sequence.  Unplug the printer from the computer and see if the printer is ready when you turn it on.  If he made, go to the computer and click on the printer to make it appear that is printing and delete all print jobs, turn off the computer and then turn it back on and reconnect the printer and everything should be ok.  I assume that no other computer is turned on and print on this printer.  If this is not the case turn off other computers.

  • Satellite L500-1DT: HDD Recovery of Win 7 is stuck in an endless loop

It's a so detailed bug report please bear with me.
If you can help, or can confirm that you have had the same thing happen to you, I will be grateful.

I've owned several Toshiba laptops before and I've even worked for Toshiba so worry, I like the machine. But I have a problem with his recovery software. I just bought a laptop Satellite L500-1DT with Windows 7 64 bit, on behalf of a non-techie who lives elsewhere. Since I know from experience that I have to sometimes panic calls from field in the sense of "it became too slow", "How do I get rid of the accumulated junk", "maybe he had a virus" and so on, the first thing I checked was ASR, which is how to bring the HD to "like new" condition.

So I started out in the machine, replied to the questions until I got in the appropriate operating system, then led the program "make a recovery DVD. Double layer DVD checked ok. With the freshly made DVDs, I swapped the HD for a spare part, I had (much less: only 40 GB instead of 320) and started the rescue DVD hoping it would fix my own system to the blank disc.

He did repartition the drive according to its schema, with more or less half the space for Windows and the other half for the data, including the recovery files. He did install the system in the Windows partition. It was then restarted in Windows 7 installed in order to complete the installation. There, the trouble began: an endless loop of reboots for hours until what I stopped it.

    Loop:
    * reset
    * black screen with bright logo 4 color windows «windows startup»
    * black screen with slight blade and "Setup prepares your computer for first use.
    * blue white screen "Welcome" with "please wait" and the crossbar with green blob, saying "the installation may take several minutes. Please do not interrupt or shut down the computer! »
    * blue screen saying it stops

    Repeat the above forever.

I saw him restart way more than 10 times over several hours. And whenever he's faking, that this is the first time she did it. Of course, this is not normal!

I tried to stop with ctrl-alt-del and the Task Manager, but the white screen would go even the Task Manager, making it difficult to kill any process or even inspect what they were on top. I stopped it by holding down the power button until it shuts. Then when it restarts it said that if I wanted safe mode. I tried. He went into the routine above and at one point he says that he could not proceed with the installation, if it was in safe mode. So he restarted in normal mode and then...! It is finally out of the endless loop!

Then he asked me all the usual language, record etc., questions as he did the first time I had turned on him. This seemed good. Finally, I walked into a newly installed operating system and everything seemed fine, except that I found out later that some programs that were there before were not installed.
With bravery bordering stupidity (*) I even Redid the procedure hard disk provided instead of my rescue: first I have nuked the windows partition, then I save the HD (with F8), not with the DVD that I had done. Result: similar rigmarole, with endless reboot.

After that I stopped it, it kind-of-worked, as above, but now some programs were lacking, such as the Toshiba DVD drive.

(*) motivated by: better try now with the computer here and all my tools and other computers ready at hand, that when the computer died at home of its owner, and that's the only thing left to try with me at the other end of a line call. Been there before.

Now, that specific (DVD player), that I could download it from the support page and it installed fine. But what else might be missing or not working not that I have not noticed? The restore process is clearly not working as it should.

I'm the first or only to whom it happens? I'm doing something wrong? Is there anything else I should try?

I need to make sure that the restore procedure works perfectly while I still have the computer in my hands. If not, there is no chance that I'll be able to do a remote reinstall for my non-techie, once I asks me to clean the laptop by phone a few months from now.

    Thanks in advance

[Update: just looking for the right place where I could post what I found that other people report the same problem.] This is definitely a bug in the software distributed for W7 - 64 overlay, not a problem isolated to my machine. See for example
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=49421&TSTART=0 where the user kwarc described the same symptoms with a Satellite L505.

    Hello

First of all, I must say that I could recover my trouble free unit.
The installation of Win 7 went well and everything has been installed correctly.

    Back to you:
To me it looks like something wrong with installation maybe some HARD drive partitions were confues perhaps, HARD drive should again formatted, and then run the recovery procedure.
    You should test

    Regarding the DVD player:
As much as I know there is no DVD player for Win 7 64 bit. There are only available for Win 64 bit updated. If you need to install the DVD player for Win 7 32 bit version and then update using the patch released for Win7 64 bit.

  • HP color laserjet cm2320nf mfp (ff3be2) can be networked with the USB wireless adapter?

Howdy, first post here - rules of noob.  Search for as well as I could but have not seen this answered.  Recently, we changed the place of our home network router.  We cannot reach our hp color laserjet cm2320nf mfp (ff3be2) Ethernet cable not more.  You ask if we give a wireless (Wifi, no bluetooth) to USB adapter to the USB port of the printer, will be the printer network through it?  Sure it works on computers, but don't know if the printer will look network via the USB port.  In any case, the problem we are trying to solve becomes the printer on our network of origin when we can not connect it via Ethernet.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I thought that I understood that after doing some more than browse the Internet.  Just ordered the Ethernet of IOGEAR Universal for adapter Wi - Fi N.  Hoping that the printer will think it is plugged.  Should do based on what I've read.  Thank you, James.

  • HP Color Laserjet 4700n does not print unless you press the button "Refresh" on the printer...

    Hello

Trying to support a printer down in our Australian Branch, so I can't see the printer, what users say just.  This problem occurs for everyone down in this office (about 20 users).

It is connect via LAN to everyone and it does not seem printer for everyone until they go up to the printer and press the button "Refresh" on the printer itself.  It's a HP 4700n color jaserjet printer.  I got them to recycle the power on the printer leave unplugged for about 5 minutes and also tried to reset service print spooler on a user's computer and the server, but none of these options helped.  I also tried to remove and time the printer to a computer to users, but that did not help either.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

Hi, thanks to send additional information.  It really helped.

The following is taken from the User Guide which can be found here:

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/CoreRedirect.jsp?redirectReason=DocIndexPDF&prodSeriesId=473038&targetPage=http%3A%2F%2Fbizsupport1.austin.hp.com%2Fbc%2Fdocs%2Fsupport%2FSupportManual%2Fc00366053%2Fc00366053.pdf

The message that users see is a Media fast charge.

On Page 198, there is a section on the message they see.  It also includes measures to address the message.

It is likely that the tray is already loaded with media of the letter otherwise, they would get another error after pressing the button to check twice.  However, media guides are very likely out of position and causing the printer to think that the letter is not loaded.

For step 2 to verify the media guides see page 97: "setting up trays of food.

When you load paper into tray 2 and have the media guides correctly aligned, after the closing of the tray of the printer, you should see a prompt saying that plain letter was loaded in tray 2.  This prompt is to change the type, size is automatically detected by the tray.  You see a different size than the letter when the tray is closed, which means that the guides are not good position and should be adjusted.

You can also check which think that the printer is loaded by accessing the paper handling menu as described on page 98.

Once you have the printer thinking that plain letter is installed in tray 2, the jobs of users requesting letter tray 2 should not more the prompt.

What happens if you check that the guides are in the right position, but you don't always get a letter in the status bar?  It is an indication that the size of detection does not work correctly.

Check the guide position tray holder should solve the problem. It may have been moved from its position when the new document has been loaded.  If this does not resolve the problem, please after return.  Let me know the size of the media and type that the printer thinks is in tray 2, the driver that you are using as well as the driver for the work of the user settings.  This will allow me to try additional things at the office.

  • BlueScreen reads "stuck in an endless loop device driver.

I have no knowledge of computers at all. I've had my laptop for about 18 months, I bought new online while living in London and he had this issue basically since the beginning, but I was a coward and didn't try to get it fixed on the warranty.

She turns on and work for a random delay (sometimes 10 minutes and up to 2 hours) then all of a sudden the screen turns blue, and he reads a lot of numbers (I can get these and write them if necessary) and States "device driver stuck in a junkyard of endless memory loop beginning physics, manufacturer contact to update on the device...". »

I have no idea what that means or what I need to do / who I should ask etc.
    Can someone tell me please?

    Hello!

It's not easy to say what the problem is.

First of all, what laptop do you have exactly?

In your situation, I would first check the RAM. There are special tools and do always with Memtest86.
You can download an ISO image to burn on a CD from [www.memtest86.com]
Boot from the CD and test your memory RAM, maybe, you will get errors.

You can also reinstall Windows with the recovery disk. It could be a software problem or driver.

If you have any other questions, I'll try to help you.

    Good bye

  • Vista Home Premium stuck in an endless loop

My Sony VAIO came with Vista Home Premium loaded and is now stuck in endless mode.

When I turn on the system it starts with Windows icon, followed by the VAIO logo and then jumps immediately to «Configuring updates step 3 of 3» It freezes it for awhile and then restarts and the cycle starts again.

I managed to get to the point where I was able to select Safe Mode, and everything what was jump to screen, "stage 3 of 3 ' (but this time with a large font). Then it rebooted again and returned to the ususal reboot cycle.

I left the system about 3 hours and he will continue to do this constantly.

Apart from use as a boat anchor, I am willing to try anything. Suggestions?

Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If Safe Mode does not work and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    Hi @jrmunn ,

I want to help you get the printer works on the wireless network.

There are a few different ways to install the printer on the wireless network.

    • Thanks to the support WPS.
    • Through the installation, by connecting the USB port, it will configure the wireless.
    • Once the USB installation is done. You can configure the wireless via an Ethernet connection.

    Cycle power to the router.

First, we must restore the defaults on the printer.

Press the OK button on the printer, go to the service, and then select restore default settings.

Print a printer configuration page to make sure that the IP address and SSID are erased.

    Print a Configuration report.

    Uninstall the printer software.

    WPS configuration method:

To connect your printer to your wireless router wireless using WPS:
    (your router must support WPS)

Start the mode of the WPS button on your printer.
Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.

Then run a printer from devices and printers Add Wizard.

    The USB method:

Perform a clean boot on the computer and disable the Antivirus software and any analysis in real-time in the Antivirus software also. How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Then run the installation immediately after connecting the USB cable, follow the steps described in this document to update the drivers so that's not new error. A fatal error during Installation of the software. Then the installation should continue. (you can use this procedure for any type of installation)

If you are still having problems and you have an Ethernet cable, we can install the printer as a USB connection again and then configure the printer via wireless Ethernet.

    Method of Ethernet:

Restore the default settings of the printer.

Connect the printer to the router with an Ethernet cable.
Wait about 1 minute and the printer must have a valid IP address.
Print the configuration page to get the IP address of the printer.
Type the IP address in the address bar of Internet Explorer which should open the printer's built-in web services page.
    Installing wireless over here now.
Click the networking, wireless on the left, fill in information about the network and apply the settings.
After the confirmation, then disconnect the Ethernet cable.
Now you should have a flashing light on the printer in 1 minute wireless about.

Print a printer configuration page, to get the new IPv4 address.

Then create a new port with the new IPv4 address.

In the devices window and printers, click right on the printer and on the left, click on printer properties, select the Ports tab.

Click Add Port, select the Port TCP/IP Standard, then New Port and follow the instructions in the wizard.
  • Color LaserJet CP1525nw: 1 1/2 black lines on the right side and another black spot on the side right laserjet cp1525nw color

I downloaded the software and latest drivers. It has the latest firmware. I contracted the toner and blown with compressed air. Look in the back for the dust from toner on the sleeve of teflon to fuser. Unplugged, restarted, of course my book has been for laser printers. Ran across several cleaning cycles, recalibrated color, put a piece of paper and toner open door when he was printing. Released A black to see if I could see and toner on blue cylinder. None of the things I've tried have solved the problem. Toner is about 3/4 down. It print fine with this new series of cartridges for quite a while.  I went from my warrarnty.

The amount of toner from the printer say that there is only an estimate. Your default seems to me that the black toner cartridge is bad. First thing I would do is to replace the black toner cartridge as it should solve your problem.

    Hi @printerdope,

Thanks for letting me know that you have always problems with the status bar. The plateau is probably out of the track. You may be able to reverse the printer in order to get a better look, to see what is happening with the status bar.

If the printer is under warranty, call to inquire about a replacement and if the printer is out of warranty, you can still have fix the printer.

If it works, then reconnect the network cable on back in and see if the work in Quebec will be printed. If it does not and shows the error, delete the task, restart the machine and try to print the same job or another job and see if it works. Basically, sounds like a 49 error situation.
