HP Color LaserJet CP1215

A year ago, the right side of the printed page was fuzzy when printing in color. (the black and colors were neither Kaleidoscope)  I called HP and was told that I needed a new printer, but I came to buy more cartridges so I changed the controls in order to print in black only.  Has been fine, but now the printer tells me that he needs a magenta cartridge and does not print even though I only print in black.  Is it possible to make 'ignore' the need for a color cartridge?  I won't spend $100 + dollars on the cartridges of colour that I can't use. Help!

The printer should automatically print black only when a cartridge is empty, unless it's obviously the black cartridge.  Some error messages will cause this does not work well.  What is you get the exact error message?  It can be something that can be worked around, and it may not depending on the exact error you get.

    There are no official drivers for your printer under Windows 8 immediately.  I heard of people using the Window 7 64-bit driver and do it to work this way.  I'm going to inculde the installation link.  If you have any problems, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

    I downloaded the new drivers from HPs website, installed the new drivers/software, did not work.  uninstalled from Add/Remove of

    rebooted, reinstalled it, no luck.  Let him trying to fix by searching of Windows updates.  Did not find all the drivers.  It says no drivers loaded when you look at the properties in printers and devices.

    Cable USB Windows 7 64 bit, HP Color Laserjet CP1216, is about 6 feet long, USB 2.0, it connects via a docking station.

    The user was eager and since I don't get to this plant every 2 or 3 weeks, I advanced and changed his HP black-and-white laserjet printer.  So I guess this could be considered to be resolved, because I have no longer works on it.

    When installing drivers or software support for a device, it's always a good idea for the installation software right click and choose run as administrator. Acknowledge the UAC confirmation and provide credentials if requested.

    When you print anything that uses the cartrdidge magenta, magenta colour not aligned with the others. I had this problem in the past and have run some utilities from the Toolbox. However, the Toolbox freezes when I open it. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software and drivers, but the same still. My guess is that the leaves to uninstall a registry record that's why relocation is not successful? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • LaserJet CP1215-printing color out of alignment

    We have a laserjet CP1215 color and (I think since the replacement of the black cartridge) print colors out of alignment. It seems that only black ink is out of proportion with the other colors. Have tried various recalibration etc, but nothing has worked so far. I've been advised by our IT support company that it's a hardware problem.

    I was wondering if it was just a case of a questionable cartridge that needs to be changed, but we do not have a spare part for the moment so I didn't spend the money on a new if someone could suggest anything!

    I would be grateful for any help or suggestion.

    If you are having print quality problems, calibrate the product.

    1 open the HP Color LaserJet CP1210 Series Toolbox.

     

    Open HP Color LaserJet CP1210 Series Toolbox in one of these ways:

    1. In the Windows system tray, double-click the printer icon ().
    2. On the Start menu, click programs (or all programs in Windows XP), HP, HP Color LaserJet

    2. click the Device Configuration file and then click on the page of print quality .

    3. in the field of the color calibration, click Calibrate to calibrate the product immediately.

  • LaserJet CP1215: Color CP1215 print quality - Windows 8.1

    Systematically print very dark colors.  I printed from Word, Adobe PDF viewer and Photoshop all with the same results.   I installed new cartridges and have installed the latest driver.  Since there is no available since Windows 8.1 Toolbox - have not found any way to print the configuration page - hold the results just RESUME button in the gree light of power is flashing but nothing prints.  It seems not to be possible to print a cleaning page.  I'm at a loss what to try to fix this.

    I have downloaded and run the HP print and Scan Doctor 4.6 and everything out OK, the test print that comes out seems OK for me but I don't know what it is supposed to look like.  The cyan block seems a little light.

    I see that you have problems with the dark printing. I'd love to help you.

    You can adjust the brightness in the application you are printing from, if this isn't a problem with the hardware with the printer.

    You use windows built in driver or did you download the Plug-and-Play drivers?

    HP Color LaserJet Plug-and-Play package.

    Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

    Solving print quality problems. Go to eight Solution: print a configuration page. Is it printed correctly then it would be software related. Let me know the results and how to print the configuration page. Please go well the steps contained in the document. Unfortunately, you'll skip the steps of the box tool.

    If the problem is still related software, you can continue with the following steps:

    Make sure that the correct paper type is selected in the print driver and he is not in default to unspecified.

    What kind of paper do you use?

    Print and Scan doctor, you may have the option in the upper part, in one of the menus to run a diagnostic test, possibly cleaning and calibration of the printer. Try printing Scan Doctor for Windows and HP. Under how to use diagnostic and printer cleaning services?

  • Printer HP CP1215 Color Laserjet will reverse only upward when both sides feel

    Recently, I replaced my old Dell XP PC with a new Zoostorm W7x64 Professional OS PC and transferred my HP printer which worked perfectly the new system.  I followed all instructions to update the software and drivers, but now the printer will reverse only upward flanked of printing page even if I chose flip over as my print mode.  I tried the flip up instruction also and it works as it should.  Can I use is no longer my instruction to print two face now that I can't print reports that reads like a book otherwise that manually adjust the paper in the tray.  All solutions, anyone?

    I download, save and then run the full feature software and drivers if you have installed the Plug-and-Play package to see if that will solve this problem.

    You change the preference of the printer in the application or in the printer properties window?

    Try another application to see if you have the same problem.

  • kColor Laserjet CP1215 - blue lines at the bottom of page

    My LaserJet CP1215 began about 2 cm long printing blue lines every 2 cm on each side of a sheet of paper on the side of the printer.  I ran clean Page twice and also printed at least 100 sheets of paper to remove any toner that can be had on the machine.  However, nothing has worked, and the printer still prints blue lines.  Interestingly, no blue lines appeared on the own Page book when I put it to run.

    Any advice would be very welcome.  Thank you

    I don't know what you mean that "blue is bloodshed." Do you mean it is loose toner inside the printer cartridge?

    You did "eleven Solution: identify and replace the problem print cartridge'? '" These steps help to identify if the problem is with a cartridge, or if the printer should be cleaned more.

    If you have a cartridge that leak, sometimes there will be a loose toner inside the printer. It looks like the brilliantly colored or black dust. Some new cartridges come with a cleaning cloth (they ones I've seen are yellow/orange). If you don't, I'd get a type Microfiber cloth to wipe it off upwards.  If you get any on you or on your clothes, do not hot water to clean! The heat will set the color. Use only cold water.

    Another thought is that the imaging drum is damaged. In this case, you would need a new cartridge to solve the problem.

    If the cartridges are genuine HP cartridges, it is possible that they are under warranty. You can call the HP Technical Support to see if they are under warranty. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 for all other regions, click here.

    I would recommend some of the things

    First of all, make sure that your firmware is up-to-date, go to the page software and drivers on HP.com download and install the latest firmware available for the printer.

    Then, make sure that the toner collection unit is not complete

    Finally, print a cleaning of the control panel of the printer page, normally, you should select the following text in the menu:

    • Maintenance of the unit
    • Calibration / cleaning
    • Cleaning page
