  Native drivers the top on my comp crashed two years somehow. While I was looking for new on this site. But I couldn't find any driver for my printer (USB connected), only universal. He really works hard. Color photos printed in gray with big polka dots, text got same problems. So I really want to know how to install my good old CP1515n of good work.   It is possible that the renovated cartridge you are using is the cause poor print quality. I suggest you to install a new HP OEM cartridge to help isolate the poor quality of printing to the printer or remanufactured toner cartridge. I wouldn't see you spend money on getting the printer repaired when it's associated cartridge. Let me know what you find?

  I forgot the password for my HP Color LaserJet CP1515n I scanned the web and the user manual but couldn't find answers to in English or in German. Is it really possible that I am the first person with this problem?

  And to make it even worse, the menu of the printer itself is blocked, so I can't do a reset with the hardware buttons on the printer.

  Meanwhile, HP support gave me the solution. So for everyone who has the same issue:

  (1) HP recommends that the first print the configuration of network settings report

  (2) to reset the printer,

  -Disable

  -Press on "X" and "right arrow" and turn the printer until it displays "Permanent storage init.

  Now it reset.

  Had the printer listed above for several years and love it.  Have just started having problems with the printer does not print not not in color.  Have a recorded document that needs to be printed every month and have had no problems with it, until yesterday when it is printed in black only.  Another document word also printed in black only.  I printed a test page printed correctly.

  The HP Color Laserjet Pro M252N Featuer software complete is not supported on Windows XP, however you can get the features of the printer using HP PCL 6 Universal Print Driver listed on page 9 of the User Guide, be aware that the Service Pack 3 must be installed on the operating system to use the printer:

  Make a right click my computer and select Properties - locate Service Pack 3 in this form... If Service Pack 3 is not the operating system MUST be updated first:

  Try this test.

  Printed page in after you get the blank page open the access door and see if you can move the carrousel by hand.

  If the carousel will rotate the carousel latch is stuck.

  The lock can be fixed by disassembly of the valve and clean some foam sticky residue deteriorated and its replacement by a thin piece of material. I use stickers very thin markers of a dollar store.

  When you reinstall the printer helps reinstall you by plugging the USB of the computer? Or are you downloading from the HP site? I recommend that you disconnect the printer from your computer by unplugging the USB or disconnect the connection without wire and then go to the HP support for HP Color LaserJet 1600 printer. Find your printer driver and reinstall.

However the black cartridge has more than 2,000 pages of ink in the printer and it won't let me prink only black and white.
