  Do you think that the printer has impeded?  Or, is there a big gap between the ejected pages?  Have you checked the paper type in the bin?  Please make sure that the paper type is set to "Plain".

  After the closure of the status bar, the media sensor will detect the first fed leaves 5 and decide on the type of media.  Maybe your media are dirty or defective?  Try cleaning the sensor of media.

  You can disable the detection of media sensor, so if the above does not resolve issue you, please let me know.

  Help!  Accidentally updated the firmware of the Laserjet pro 400 with Laserjet CP4525 firmware.  The printer is now just spit out pages and never reaches a State ready for the correct firmware.  I really hope that I don't have it bricked just with a click of silly.

  Can someone help or suggest a way to put the appropriate firmware?

  I got it due sort connect the laptop via USB drivers install and then deploy the firmware.

  I then had to delete and add the printer on our print server.

• LaserJet P1102w - lack of printing problems and sleep-wake duplex in ML

  I have my printer installed via AirPrint, the latest firmware and all that.

  However, the attempt of Apple to a driver treats this as a very basic printer, and I can no longer print double-sided. There also problems waking up to print if it has not been used for some time. I have to turn on the printer, cancel jobs, place them again and hope it works. Sometimes it takes two or three attempts.

  When will they be available for Cougar your real drivers? I want that my printer to work as if it was in SL and Lion.

  When I run the setup I get to step 'Select device' and the printer does not appear. I connected it via USB for it and still nothing. I removed the printing device configured to AirPrint and the same thing. I installed it using the generic 'PCL' profile via the port USB, and the installation program still shows nothing.

  It is for 10.4 to 10.7, but I gave it a shot. Updated the firmware on my printer (again). Now I can add the printer as "HP LaserJet Professional P1100w, 5.0", and the duplex option is enabled and works!

  If this page needs updating to include bones x 10.8. I don't know why it says version 8.0 when the control panel no longer reports as 5.0. Whatever, I print double-sided once again.  I'm a happy camper

  After having changed the black toner on our HP Color LaserJet CP4525 have stoped the black color printing.

  I first thought that the problem is a simple tones isue.

  But we now test an another new toner cartridge and a printing of the same type, and it is stil not print not stipulated in black.

  Test print that contains color and black, have the printed colors.

  I also stoped and taken power off printer.

  There is no error message or similar, who could not say anything about the issues.

  A reported problem?

  OK, you have exhausted the controls easy, summarized below

  1. Cartridge swap - checked the cartridge and checked that the missing aircraft of color is caused by the "station" (have you run a disable cartridge Check - in Diagnostics Menu?)
  2. PGC/shutter-verified by comparison
  3. Drum on the ground and leverage - verified by comparison of functional and intact
  4. Developer and T1 transfer (transfer of drum to ITB) - checked with record charge contacts
  5. Engine test page - since the black is missing on this page, it eliminates the trainer/video

  It seems that laser does not drum.

  • Check that nothing is blocking out of the laser.
  • Check the connections of scanner laser (son of CDC and the scanner laser and FFCs).
  • Check the scanner laser (you can swap the laser scanners to check).

  Whenever I'm doing a scan or trying to copy a page, all I get is a page with thin stripes, up and down. I did a last, I tried to make a copy in color. I have a page of stripes coloured accordingly. If the question scratched image produced through both the dish and the ADF on your computer, then your printer is probably affected by a power or programming problem. If the striped image problem occurs through the dish or the ADF, but not both, then there is likely debris sweep across which is at the origin of the defect.   • Problem 1: Striped Image occurs in the dumpster and automatic document feeder:

• HP Color LaserJet Pro M477fdn: M477fdn not taken fully supported on Mac?

  Hello, we have a new HP M477fdn.

  We have a question about printer drivers and utility software, please: why is there not a printer for the series M477 profile?

  It is a great printer, then sitting our old HP 4050dtn, wired Ethernet connection.  Firmware datecode is 20160331.

  We have two computers running Mac OS X 10.9.5 "snipers".

  We have installed the most recent HP printer software update (hpprinterdriver3.1.dmg) downloaded from the apple.com website.

  We have also installed most of the HP (hp-printer-essentials-L - 4_9_0.pkg) downloaded from hp.com.  It is necessary to download this because the program "HP Easy Start" does not, as several other people have reported on this support forum.

  In "System Preferences"-> "Printers and Scanners"-> the only option to implement this printer is "Generic PostScript Printer.  It works, but it seems to have limited functionality.

  In system preferences, we found the profile to configure fax: "HP Color LaserJet MFP M477 Pro. Fax' and that works as expected.

  In system preferences, we expected to see a profile to set up the printer: "HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477" but that does not exist.  Why not?  What do we lack?

  With Mac OS X 10.9 "Generic PostScript printer" is the only option.

  The M477fdn works with Mac OS X 10.9, and as seen below, you miss a lot with "Generic PostScript Printer."

  We tried another Mac with 10.11.2 "El Capitan", which, at the time of writing, is the latest version of the OS.  Yet once the program 'HP Easy Start' did not work, so we used the same "hp-printer-essentials-L - 4_9_0.pkg ' downloaded from hp.com.

  The only additional functionality that we see to print with Mac OS X 10.11 is a check box "Printing black & white."

  Your mileage may vary.

  I see that the Laserjet Pro 100 ACM M175NW new is missing print in the middle of the pages, you ran cleaning and color calibration, but the issue is not resolved.

  This would be a specific example of the question: but with the 'Bb' would be completely missing?

  This HP document: solving Print quality problems can if you take some of the same steps you did already, I suggest you don't skip any step.

  I would recommend some of the things

  First of all, make sure that your firmware is up-to-date, go to the page software and drivers on HP.com download and install the latest firmware available for the printer.

  Then, make sure that the toner collection unit is not complete

  Finally, print a cleaning of the control panel of the printer page, normally, you should select the following text in the menu:

  • Maintenance of the unit
  • Calibration / cleaning
  • Cleaning page

  I recently updated my HP LaserJet, and after the update, he refused to print, scan or copy. • Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn Pro: M477 Software Installation fails at 99%

  Like others who have posted here, I have been unable to get the printer software to complete the installation. The printer is a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn, 3 months. I'm trying to install the software on a new workstation HP Z240 performing Windows 10 (64-bit). The connection is via USB cable. The printer and the software have been previously used with a Windows 7 machine without problem.

  I tried, repeatedly, to install the software from the disc supplied with the printer and also a 126.6 mb download HP Color LaserJet MFP printer M477 Pro series full software and drivers. The results are the same with a source - installation apparently progresses up to connect it the indicator product of progression from screen reached 99%, how it gives an error message "a Setup operation took too long to run. It is a fatal error, preventing the use of the product. Restart your computer and run this installer again. If the problem persists, please visit the web site of product support for your product. "It takes about 20 minutes for the phase of installation to go from 0 to 99%, and then later hooked up to 99% for 2-5 minutes, the error message is displayed.

  I am able to print to this printer, but at least do not have the ability to scan from the computer there is no indication that the I.R.I.S. OCR software is installed.

  I had care of do not connect USB until you are educated.

  I tried repeating the installation without uninstalling first and get the same result.

  I used the uninstall contained the disk feature, and have deleted the printer to the computer using the Panel between the installation attempts.

  The event viewer displays none error entry at all and no entry identifies HP as the source of an event.

  I tried to connect via USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.

  I cleaned recycle them and temporary folders.

  I have updated the firmware of the printer to the 20160331 version.

  Printed printer configuration report will not display any errors, nor that the printer itself indicates something is wrong and confirms the update of the firmware.

  I deselected the optional software, the devices experience HP and I.R.I.S. OCR, trying to install only the required files two more program scanning HP.

  I think I understood the question, 10 windows installs its own driver, and the installation program expects the hp driver to install.

  DO this FOR THE HP INSTALLER PROCESS (when the percentage meter goes)

  1. go into the Device Manager and find the printer in the list of devices

  2. right click on the printer and select "Update Driver software"

  3. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".

  4. choose "Let Me pick one...» »

  5. Select the named driver: HP Color LaserJet MFP M477 PCL-6 Pro (make sure it's one with a dash between the pcl and 6!)

  6. click next and back to the installation of hp box and must now see the printer and continue the installation.
