• LaserJet 1018 will not work on windows 7

  I have a HP Laserjet 1018 which works fine on Windows Vista 64 - bit.  I just built a new PC and put Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit on it.  The drivers on the HP support site will not work.  When I try to print something, it is sent to the printer and disappears.  I interrupt printing that document actually get sent to the printer and it appears.  As soon as I have some Nations United-pause the printer, the document disappears, but nothing prints.  Normally, when something is sent to the printer, the "information" LED yellow lights up momentarily and prints the document.  The led does not at all.  I tried new cables, uninstalling and reinstalling etc.  Nothing works.  Just to be sure this isn't a printing problem general, I connected a Laserjet 1020 on the new machine and it works fine.  However, it is my printer to work and I can't leave it on the new computer, which is a personal computer for my home.  It worked to identify that my copy of Windows 7 allows you to print, but is not a long-term solution.  Help?

• Selector color Photoshop suddenly does not work

  I never had this problem before. I worked on a project in Photoshop, and for some reason, he now works only in shades of gray. When I used the color picker to change the color, it does not work.  I know, don't forget to do anything different to make it work only in shades of gray, but I can't seem to understand how to switch color mode and I'm in the middle of an important project.   Look at the Document tab at the top. RGB/8 should be the norm.  If you somehow typed 'q' on your keyboard, then it would read

  'Mask quick/8' and the color picker would not choose a color. Press q for back RGB.

  Always check the Document tab, it will clue you into what you have selected. He says "Layer 0, layer mask/8" If you have selected a layer mask.

  Finally you may have selected a color channel and it would read layer 0, blue/8.  Cmd/Ctrl 2 can go back you to RGB.

• HP Scan Pro not working/Scanner works does not Note: problem still unsolved

  I recently installed snow leopard and that you have not used the hp pro scan up to that earlier.  I opened and it takes some time to load with the color wheel rotation and I have to force him to leave.  Prior to that, he said that no scanner could be seen, so I reinstalled the software and now he notices I guess because it does not display this error message.  I got it to start scanning, but then he stopped at half way through and had to leave.  Are there updates or something again, that I need for the HP Officejet 6500 Series?

  The HP Scan Pro software from the 10.5 software does not work with Snow Leopard.  Scanning is built into Snow Leopard now.

  I just bought a HP p6803w CPU which runs on Windows 7.  When I try to connect to my HP LaserJet 1022 it won't work.  Apparently, I need a compatible driver downloaded.  When I tried to download the drivers on the HP site, it seems that one of the two was not installed.  Help!  I am an online student and desperately need my printer to work.

  On my win7 64 bit system, I tested the drivers posted on the hp.com site and they load and print a page of test as well as Word and Excel.

  Steps to load:

  1. download the driver

  2. click on run

  3. click on the "I agree" box and then the next button.

  4. Connect USB cable when connecting via USB port screen displays. You should get the pop up in the lower right screen that says: "install the software device driver".

  5. what pop-up disappears, drivers have been loaded, cancel on all other screens and the pop - up asking if you know you want to cancel.

  6. go in the devices folder and printers

  7 find the HP LaserJet 1022 printer (must have a green check mark on it)

  8. the driver has been loaded successfully.

  Make sure that all previous attempts have been removed from the device and printer folders AND you have restarted your computer.

  When I export RAW files obtained by specifying files I want the output color space sRGB have the Adobe RGB color space. The same is true if I said than I like in ProPhoto. Is this a bug? I did successfully in other versions of Lightroom, but not in 4.3.

  What is the problem, is at bottom of the ACR dialog box show you, is set to Adobe RGB, that's what you get IF you click on OPEN and save only the data on the disk. The original data can be in sRGB, but new data saved the cab is in the color space you specified in the dialog box.

  Well, I have this great colorful web form that I received from Paulo Vale. The colors of the textfields textareas and selection lists all change color as it should when I mouseover them and when I put the focus and type in it... If I'm in Firefox.

  The: Hover pseudo-class is no longer available since IE7 and then only if you use the strict type of HTML document. : focus is not available before IE8. It's a shame that MS didn't think to use these Pseudo-classes earlier!

• LaserJet M1522nf does not work in Windows 8.1

  This printer works on my network on all PCs except one, which has been recently upgraded to Windows 8. 1 can always print to it, but the scanning functionality is lost.  Tried to uninstall all the HP software to give a facility clean, but impossible to uninstall complete get.  To re - install, I get only the print driver, no other software.  There is no menu or desktop element created.  Used file is named M1522series-win7-full-solution-AM-EMEA1-v4.3.exe.  The search in the section downloads on HP.com, only generic printer drivers are available.  Ideas?

  My system is a 2 set up dual-boot disk with Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Pro.  I copied the scan of the installation folder icon in the environment of Windows 7 on my desktop Windows 8.1.  I can now run Windows 8.1 HPs scan program.  Because it works well (the system set up a 2nd instance of Twain to use), I suspect that you can copy the installation folder of HP from a PC Windows 7 or 8 and get the utility runs in point 8.1.  I hope this helps.  Nevertheless, HP MUST update their software!
