HP color lj 4700

Hi all

I have problem with this printing machine, you can see the image any idea?

Thank you

You probably have a problem with the fuser unit.

I'll give you a process to prove.

Load a sheet of paper in Tray 1 and print the same test page, that you used previously.

You need to open the top cover about one second after the document has been completely into the machine.

After you open the hood paper movement stops now continue the opening to the top of the machine and pull the black ETB Assembly so you can see the toner cartridges and the sheet of paper that will be hooked to the belt.

You will see a test sheet partially complete, if the sheet printing looks good, then your Fuser is defective.

The worksheet will look a little strange because he did not have all the toner cartridges with all parts of the leaf, but I hope that your timing will be such that the top of the sheet print black on it.

If my post is solved your problem and click the accepted as button solution under him.

In order to thank a Tech for a post click the thumbs up button under the post.

You can even click on the two keys...

  • Color laserjet 4700dn: color laserjet 4700dn will not duplex with upd

    Hello

I'm trying to place drivers for our color laserjet 4700dn via login script. The only driver available on HP downloads for this model is the universal printer driver. When I install the printer and let Windows 7 uses the pilot that it downloads from Windows Update it duplex very well but I can't find where to download this driver package, so I'm stuck with the universal printer driver if I want to withdraw what my login script.

With the UPD if I select duplex printer just ignores the setting and proceed to print single-sided. If I set the default forward on duplex printer preferences and then print from an application, it works but then I have to go back and change the preferences or each job prints duplex.

I hope that someone knows a fix for the duplex problem UPD or there maybe somewhere else I can download the specific driver for 4700dn color under Windows 7 64-bit, which would be even better. Otherwise I'll be stuck manually install the printer every time I created a new workstation.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

I finally found a driver that I can ride if a login script that works for double-sided printing with our Win7 64 bit workstations. Here is a link to the site in case it's useful for someone else is trying to spread out the drivers.

    I used one called:

How to install drivers for a HP4700 Color Laserjet?

I tried to add a printer on my 'new' computer and found out that there are no drivers available for an HP4700 Color Laserjet. If I use the generic driver, I get a quality poor printing B & W out.

I could not locate the download correct driver for the printer. I have download a .dmg file, open it, click on 'Install a Software Package', and I get an error message that says "Installed failed because there is no driver to download.

I know that a driver must exist for this printer because I have another Mac, El Capitan, running and it has installed HP drivers and I can great print outs.

Is there a web page 'secret' with the downloads for this printer? Googling "Drivers for HP printers" gives a lot of results, but none of the downloads seem to work.

Can anyone offer advice on where to find the drivers for a HP ColorLaserJet 4700?

  • RESOLVED: printing on HP P3005dn in Snow Leopard

I have a new Macbook Pro has recently upgraded to Mac OS X 10.6.

Like many others, I've lived the endless nightmare "printer paused" (try to print on my Laserjet P3005dn via USB) after installing Snow Leopard. I tried all the solutions I've heard talking, including resetting of the system of the printer, remove drivers, download the latest HP drivers, etc, etc. Nothing has worked.

Finally, what worked was to download the old drivers (MAC OS X 10.2 - 10.5), i.e.,.

  • Error 49.2F0B

On a Color LaserJet 4700 printer, we suddenly raise a "Disk not initialized" error as the boots of the printer. Once it is started, we get a "49.2F0B Service error" message. It is not a disk in the printer and it has never been.

Can anyone suggest what is / / maybe wrong?

    Thank you!

    Mike VanHorn

Sounds like a service error on the printer and is probably caused by a defect of ignition of one or more of the sensors in the printer. I would start by unplugging the power cord of the printer for 30 seconds and then plug the machine in.

In addition, the user in this thread (http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/69469 ) says that the error is related to the firmware for the printer. I would check the link below to see if that fixes the error. If this is not the case, there is also another fix unorthadox mentioned below the original question.

  • Failures of Dell Dimension 4700

Hello! This is my first post. I came here for support on one of my older Dell systems today, my only first. (I did recently acquired another). It was my first computer, a helping hand me down from my parents back in 2011. He never ran well. I blamed it on a lot of things to the wire of time, starting with the aging of processor Pentium 4, bad caps on the motherboard to hard drive errors. USB works, extremely slow performance, stops and weird/sali post codes at the start are all symptoms. Once I hit him (not very hard) once out of frustration and she completely restarted. Then, it worked fine for months. This weekend, however, I was reached behind the unit to plug in a USB key (the front USBs long quit date, as I mentioned above) and it stops without any sign of restart. I have tried unplugging for a while, and then reconnect (it worked in the past, it has happened before), but it did not help. I checked on the inside, and the Green LED on the motherboard was off. Then, I started to suspect the PSU. A paper clip test confirmed my suspicions... and I could see the capacitors that have failed inside during the inspection below. I tested the power supply that failed but in my other 4700, and it failed. I borrowed the PSU work from this computer and put it in one with faulty POWER, but instead of starting block flashes an orange light by the power button. The power failure took the motherboard with it: (?) Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

  • Color temperature of the room. Light falling on your monitor.

As part of a good color management strategy how big a problem or concern is it about the room temperature of lighting where you work - specifically, the light that falls on your monitor screen that you use to edit and view images.

For example, I used a sensor to check the light falling on my monitor. He indicated that this light was 3700K color temperature.

    I use a LCD screen.

Should I try to change my room light somehow. My understanding is that the 5000K range is better?

    Hi, Tom.

Images on a screen are a little different from that of the images to print.  What you see is reflected in the press, entering your eye, less what is absorbed by the pigments, inks, papers, etc..  If it does not exist in the light source, it can only exist on paper.  Light source definitely affect the colors reflected in your eye.  (of course, the eye adapts and color correct insofar as possible).

With the monitors, light (LCD, phosphores, etc.) IS the image.  In general, the temperature of your ambient lighting should have less effect on the displayed image, however, the level of ambient lighting can have a big effect.  In addition, it is a good idea to keep the excessive light armored so do you not monitor, which can reduce the contrast, flare, change the dynamic range, etc.  (3700K sounds like a taste of fluorescent, or a mixture of incandescent and fluorescent).

In an ideal world, your lighting in the room would never vary in color or brightness, temperature would be a perfect D50 and not too bright.  You would also have a perfectly neutral workspace, gray walls, wearing a black shirt, etc.  Then, you can maintain some consistency and use the same lighting to view your prints.  It is not always easy to achieve.  Instead, you can stick with normal room light (not too sharp) and then use standard lamps to view your prints.  That's what a lot of people do if they cannot achieve perfection.  Printing companies even do this and use a look at a stand for an assessment critical.  If your monitor is calibrated correctly, you have moderate ambient light levels, a hooded monitor if you have a standard D50 look at a light with the right intensity and reflection problems, you can get great matches of the print monitor.

So, I don't sweat the ambient temperature light.  I would try to get moderate ambient light levels.  Then I'd get a lamp Solux 4700 K look at one or a few Philips 5000 K fluorescent fixtures to view your prints.  Try to adjust the intensity of the light falling on a white sheet to be the same approximate brightness as a white document displayed in Photoshop.  They should be relatively close.  Personally, I like to calibrate my monitor 5200K, 2.2 gamma and 90cd/m2.  Works for me.

  • Background app colors are more uniform

Since the upgrade of the Sierra, web pages Chrome and the code editor backgrounds Atom are messy. For example, in the atom, it seems that I've highlighted throughout the text, part of the background is dark and some of it is lighter. In Chrome, bluish grey background of Facebook will be uniform and then become clearer on the sides abruptly. This sudden change happens on other colors, which actually look as if I chose the parts of the page with my cursor. Basically the uniform color of the origins on some Web pages or applications (Atom and Chrome) are more uniform.

This substantive change only happens when I plug my HDMI cable on an external monitor. If I'm working on all of my macbook pro retina screen, everything seems fine. If I plug in my HDMI cable to an external monitor, the sets become non-uniform, even on the macbook pro (when mirroring) of the screen. I used the HDMI cable and the monitor with another computer and the problem does not exist, so I think it has something to do with macOS Sierra. Strangely enough, this problem only occurs with Atom and Chrome. Safari, for example, is absolutely perfect.

I've included screenshots to show what I mean.

    Hi tedmcdo,

Thanks for the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra! It seems like when you connect your external monitor to your Mac via HDMI, the Mac knows uniform color schemes. If this only happens when the external monitor is connected, you can try the reset NVRAM while it is disconnected from your Mac.

    What is NVRAM?

A small amount of memory on your computer called "non-volatile random - access memory" or NVRAM, stores certain settings in a location that OS X can access quickly. Settings that are stored in NVRAM are dependent on the type of Mac you use and the types of devices on it.

Information stored in the NVRAM may include:

    • The speaker volume
    • Screen resolution
    • Selection of boot drive
    • These latest panic the kernel, if applicable

If you encounter problems with these features, you may need to reset the NVRAM on your computer. For example, if your Mac starts up from a bootdisk other than that specified in startup disk preferences, or a question mark icon appears briefly at the start of your Mac.

How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac.

After resetting the NVRAM, please connect the screen and check if the problem is resolved. Alternatively, you can try to boot your Mac in safe mode.

    What is safe mode?

Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening. From your Mac in safe mode does the following:

    • Check your startup disk and attempts to fix problems if necessary directory
    • Loads needed kernel extensions only
    • Prevents elements start and the login items open automatically
    • Disables the user installed fonts
    • Delete font caches, hiding the kernel and other files of the system cache

Together, these changes can help resolve or isolate issues related to your startup disk.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. These procedures should have your Mac showing its vibrant colors on the Retina display as expected. Good day.

  • Overview unwantedly convert a color to transparent (!)

    Hello

I use a snippet to open png files and save them to gif format (to reduce the size of the file).

The files are a book cover, including an orange background, with red, white and dark gray text and graphics (curves).

    Yesterday, it worked well.

Today when I save as gif red color in the image disappears. I guess that it is transformed into Transparent. I see where the red text and graphic lines were is the background orange.

Preview was not doing this yesterday.

Today it is the same on the png files that I created yesterday, so I'm sure that change is in the preview, not Inkscape (which I used to create the PNG).

I do not use the lasso or other tool to select all areas of the picture and enable transparency.

I open the image, choose the export file to gif format and with the box checked and checked alpha, the color red is disappearing and I don't want it.

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Overview 8.1 (877.7)

    10.11.6 OSX

    Thank you.

Do not use the gif. It is an older format, limited to 256 colors. It is quite insufficient for most uses (with the exception perhaps of dubious of these short "animations").

One of the unique features of gif should have 'transparency' - but which has been achieved by stipulating a particular table as color being transparent (and not, as in modern formats, by adding a fourth channel, called "alpha channel" to the series of red, green and blue).

Somehow the red in your translation got to be designated 'transparent color '.

If you want to reduce the size of the file, try saving to jpeg and quality change to achieve a good balance between size and quality.

To well highlight a word or a selection of words in the v5.6.2, Pages you will need to select the text, click the image below on the gear watch icon and set the fill color of your character. To remove the highlight, select your text, click in the ink of fill color of characters and click transparency icon in the lower right.

Announcements see the dress of Minnie in red, yellow or blue, but I did not understand how this change in the function 'customize '.  It's three different dials or I missed something?

    Hello

Follow these steps to change the color of the dress of Minnie:

    • While the airtime on the dial of Minnie Mouse, press firmly on the screen, then press the Customize button.
    • Swipe left / right to switch between the three screens of personalization:
      • The first screen allows you to switch between Mickey and Minnie Mouse by turning the digital Crown.
      • With Minnie Mouse selected, the second Customization screen is used to change the color of her dress, once again by turning the digital Crown.
    • When finished, press the digital Crown twice to return to the watch face.

2nd question: How can I extend the follow-up of this text as a sequence of animation?  I tried to change the follow-up by degrees and adding images key, but it does not work.  In other words, when you see the title, shown above, I would like to extend then follow-up.

    Thank you.

As for the above, I just tried to open the color Board and find I can indeed change body color (see screenshot), but the photo image is also affected by the change of color.  How do I get the color of the title change and keep the color of the photo?
