HP Compaq 6200: Windows 7 drivers on Windows 8.1

Hello

We strive to improve our HP Compaq 6200 from Windows 7 to Windows using Services (WDS) for deployment of Windows 8.1

The question we have is that I could not find the softpaq to the HP Compaq 6200 for 8.1 and only the pack of drivers for Windows 7.

Is it possible to install Windows 7 drivers or make the packto pilot be able to free installation as the softpaqs for newer devices?

Thank you!

Em-El93

About everything you can do with the HP drivers is using the 7-Zip tool to extract the softpaq archives in their component parts and then install those that, like any other driver.

You can get 7-Zip here: http://www.7-zip.org/

Good luck

  • HP Compaq nc8230 Notebook PC drivers for windows 7

I can't find the HP Compaq nc8230 Notebook PC drivers for windows 7.  Vista listed but not win 7.  Help, please.

    Hello:

Here's what you need to do to get the W7 to work on your laptop like HP can't not for W7.

Use professional pilots of Vista support page and the driver of your laptop.

Most of them will work fine with rare exceptions, and I'll give you the alternatives to use.

For the graphics, you download and run the ATI file.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

Conclusion of any windows error and go to Device Manager, click to expand the display of the maps section, and then click the standard VGA adapter. Click the driver tab click on Update driver.

Select travel it my computer for the software method and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

Who will be in C:\SWSetup\sp34716. Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

Upon restart, your video should work fine.

Now, here's where you need to go for a few other pilots:

Use the Professional Windows Vista driver for the Texas Instruments computer card reader notebook nc6400. The vista support page and the driver of your PC is an older version, and while it will install, the card reader will not work.

The one on page nc6400 is more recent and card reader works with the nc6400 driver.

If you use the fingerprint sensor to log, and then use the Vista computer fingerprint sensor driver laptop 6910p and use the W7 software protect the 6910p Security Manager tools

Use the W7 HP Wireless Assistant to the 6910p software

Use the W7 Quick Launch Buttons to the 6910p driver.

    Then you should be ready.

Run the windows update program once you connect to the internet, and WU can find more recent drivers for some of the hardware on your PC.

I have HP COMPAQ 6710 WINDOWS VISTA, I HAVE LOSS MY OS HOW to GET IT?

    Hello

You can contact HP and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing F11 at startup. (Power on / start)

You can also make your own recovery discs.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Updated my HP Compaq nw8440 Windows 8, but faced problems

I upgraded my HP Compaq nw8440 Windows 8, but facing some problems. I have all the drivers I used on Windows 7 and I installed everything, but nothing seems yet intalled. No video card is installed, No Sound Card or any other device like finger print etc. More little programs like Adobe Photoshop does not run on it. Can you help me please?

    Hello:

This time, your chance is probably exhausted.

While I was able to help you get everything working on W7 which was not supported in your notebook for the last time, I think that W8 is not going to work.

In any case, nothing venture nothing have nothing, so let's give it a try.

First of all, download and run the graphics driver for Vista. Conclusion of any errors that may appear.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=1839152&prodNameId=1839208&swEnvOID=2103&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-71898-1

Go to Device Manager and click on the display of the maps section to show the Microsoft base adapter display.

Click on that and then click on update driver driver. Select the 'Browse my computer for the software' and navigate to the installation folder that was created when you ran the file.  Who will be in C:\SWSetup\sp43656. Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and if all goes well, the driver will be installed.

Do the same for the audio driver.  Simply browse through the number of different files.

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=0&prodSeriesId=1839152&swItem=ob-54354-1&prodNameId=1839208&swEnvOID=2103&swLang=8&TaskID=135&mode=5

If the audio driver will not install, access device, being connected to the internet Manager, click the multimedia audio controller and click on the driver tab, click on update driver then Auto search. See if windows update detects a driver that works.

You should try to install the driver of fingerprints of Vista and see if it works. Try to Auto or manual.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=1839152&swItem=ob-60526-1&prodNameId=1839208&swEnvOID=2103&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=5

You can try the software W8 protect the tools of this model and see if it records your fingerprint.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=5212907&prodNameId=5212908&swEnvOID=4132&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-114888-1

If none of this works, abandon any hope of obtaining W8 work on your PC, and back to W7.

  • Compaq 6200: Grahpics card Compaq upgrade 6200

I spent 3 hours searching. So many different customers, so many cards, so many questions. I don't want to waste money because I searched all stores in my area. Wal-Mart, Best Buy and a few private belonging to used computer stores. The pc I have is compact, so I need a low profile graphics card. Everything I play is League of legends. I'd like to be able to play on the high resolution hd and parameters to the less average to high. Theres so many cards I don't know where to start because I would have to order and wait and if it does not go through a process of return. I don't have the time for this type of trial and errors. It's my features of the computer.

Are not really the money to buy a power supply and a Green Sea Urchin at the same time, so prefer that I can use with on the upgrade of power supply. I saw a few 1gig and 2gig ones. Some pci express 2.1 or 3.0 LOL said. Honestly, I don't know where to start. Over the years, I heard som many of this community, so I ask anyone willing to help me refine my search. This card would work on my pc, if so I'll buy right away. If now someone can help me find a decent card please.

    Hello:

I can't say whether or not this card will work on your PC.

I read in this forum that the last series of cards Nvidia, you can install it in the PC of around old, yours is are the 600 series.

The 700 series can demand that a revision of BIOS newer than your PC.

You are unable to move the P/S even if you wanted to, because he owns.

So, you have to live with what cards will work with the existing configuration.

I recommend that stick you with HP offered as an option card Pro 6200 series, which was the AMD Radeon HD 6450.

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=emr_na-c02779491

Read the reviews before buying, because I don't know if the game you want to play will work well with this card.

Most 64-bit memory interface low-graphic profile of graphics cards are not designed to play video games.

If you want a nvidia graphics card, map, and the GT610 should work just fine too.

I have the HP Compaq 6200 PRO PC of MT 615114-001 motherboard and processor Intel Celeron CPU (LGA 1155). After I changed the CPU for Intel Core i5 (LGA 1155) computer does not start. He begins a minute (less than one second) and stops again. No beeps. After you have installed the Celeron back everything works fine. i5 CPU is brand new. What can be?

In my previous post, I explained the reason it has not worked, and listed the CPU that will work.

HP tests CPU in the laboratory and publishes a list of processors that will work in a notebook.

Notebook motherboard BIOS has a list of processors that will work. If it is installed, which is not encoded as OK in the BIOS ROM file, then this will not work.

Processors published (in the maintenance guide & Service for your nttebook series model) are available in models that can be deilvered in State CTO (configured to order).
