HP Compaq 8200 Elite: HP Compaq 8200 Elite - Raid driver

I have configured my two 250 GB SSD in raid 0, but I can't seem to install Windows on raid 500 GB without driver. I tried three or four drivers already without success. May be it someone please redirect me to the correct driver?

Off eSATA, started right without a driver. Guess it was conflicted.

  • PC HP Compaq 8000 Elite: Hard drive of PC HP Compaq 8000 Elite

I want to spend the hard drive in my 8000 Elite. It seems that all are 6 GB/s (SATA 3) these days. Seagate said I'm looking at that will work if my computer is not 6 G/s if the controller supports the SATA speed autonegotiation.

question 1: what is the speed of the controller, I spent the last two hours looking unsuccessfully.

2nd question: is this the controllers SATA speed autonegotiation support?

    Hello:

I'm running a Sandisk 240 GB SATA III (6.0 GB/S) SSD in my 8000 Elite CMT and it works fine.

I used to have a 1 TB SATA III hard disk in it. It worked very well also.

It will only work in the SATA II (3.0 GB/S) of speed, because it is so fast that the Intel 4 series chipset will run to.

The first 8xxx Elite business desktop PC that could run at a hard drive SATA III 6.0 GB/S pace, is the Elite 8200 series with the Intel 6 Series chipsets.

Do not exceed a HDD 2 TB in your PC if you intend to use it as a boot drive. The BIOS does not support the readers from over 2 TB to be used as boot disks.

You can easily configure your PC for wireless internet.

I have the 8200 Elite, 8000 Elite and dc7800 desktop PC and I installed a wireless network adapter dual band USB external on 3 of them and it works great.

This is the model I used, and it works with W7, 8, 8.1 and W10.

    Hello:

Your laptop is probably the Atheros AR5007 wireless network adapter.

If so (you can check by going to the Device Manager, expand network adapters device category to see the name and number of the model wireless network card), this driver installation normally solves this problem...

  • Compaq 8510w: replacement HARD drive models?

    Hello

I have a laptop Compaq 8510w (KE186EA; s/n CNU812285Y) with 200 MB of HARD drive installed. It is a Seagate ST9200420AS ('Momentus' family).

Yesterday, the CHKDSK utility found some bad sectors, so I want to replace the HARD drive. This Seagate model is no longer sold. What other HARD drive models are fully compatible with my laptop? My laptop has the peculiarity of "HP Drive Guard" who takes care of my HARD drive in the case of a shock, I wonder if this feature requires a 'special' model of the disk HARD must be installed.

I searched the web site of Seagate and other Momentus drives are listed there, but I'm not sure that they will fit my laptop; for example, none of them does support "shock protection" (or this function Seagate has nothing in common with HP Drive guard?).

UPD: and I also wonder if I can use an SSD, and if yes - what settings should it?

-Generally shorter readers won't be a problem, since readers usually rise in a way where the screws and SATA connectors are located at the same locations despite the height of the car. Just be careful not to exceed the height of the OEM disk (i.e. some of the 1 TB + drives that were 12 mm of height not suitable)

-SATA type is not important. SATA 3 Gb/s, SATA 6 Gbps or fastest readers will work fine, because their speed will be anyway limited by what the storage controller hardware supports.

D ' a generally, capacity have no impact on the production of heat. The 8510w, as a workstation type system, is designed to use the commands of higher performance. Newer players tend to be more thrifty in energy which means less heat. You should have no problem of compatibility based on the ability for any player < 2 TB.

Personally, I think that the benefits of the hybrid hard disks are largely overrated. If you want real performance boost, GB SSD - well worth the money, the performance difference is day and night from a physical disk more you don't have to worry about damage to the drive drops or movement.

  • HP Compaq nx9110: HP Compaq nx9110 no sound driver! Help

    Hello guys.

I can't find the driver for my HP Compaq nx9110 laptop... I use the operating system: Windows XP. There is no driver for the sound on the HP site with driver. I have download Realtek but his does not work. Help please.

    Hello:

The screenshots you provided indicate that the correct audio driver is installed.

I can't read Polish, so I do not know what the settings mean.

You can try to change one of the parameters to the other device listed.

The other driver, you need for bluetooth is that one...

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=395748&swItemId=ob_24183_1&swEnvOid=1093

If you have a pair of headphones, connect to the audio output jack and see if you have sound.

If you do, there is probably a motherboard issue. No power to the speakers.

This happened to me on my nc8000. The audio showed everything was normal, but there was no sound.

If I pressed hard on the palm rest near the keyboard, sometimes I could get his work.

After some time, even pressing the Palm, I might not have the sound from the internal speakers.

The sound continuously worked well with a helmet, so I assumed that there was a problem with the connection from the speaker to the motherboard.

A few weeks ago, I unintentionally deleted hard drive of my Compaq 5000US Office of the chassis without recording sound

original location. Now, I am at a loss to know where to put them back in place as it looks as if there is no place for it inside the computer. I'm familiiar with the locations of the floppy drive, drive of CD-ROM and two empty boxes of filling. It's really confusing. I'll be very grateful to anyone who can tell me how to make this hard drive.

    {Problem solved]

Even if I wish to withdraw my original question that I started too early, I think that my answer may still be useful to someone who needs to know where the HD is mounted despite its obvious location. The HD is locked in a metal cage mounted vertically behind the bottom of the front cover of the computer. You can not miss.

I had not actually removed the HD but the mysterious presence of an HD 20 GB lying around the computer made me think that she belonged to the machine. I should have better because the 5000US came with a 30 GB hard drive.

    Hello:

Please read the info on the link below on how to integrate the SATA/RAID drivers. Read the Intel section and read the document about how to integrate all the drivers.

  • HP Elite 800: Driver LAN PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_153A

    Hello

    Happy new year to all!

I'm looking for some drivers, such as the LAN to my 800 Elite on Win XP 32 bit: PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_153A

I have no choice of operating system...

Where can I find it and how to install it?

    Thank you!

    Hello:

I would like to use this file. DL, but do not run it.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=5404560&swItemId=vc_116115_1&swEnvOid=4053

Then download and install this free utility for files.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7 - zip just right-click on the network driver file and select 7 - zip from the menu. Have 7-zip extract of: and let it extract the files in the folder name for easy identification.

Once you do this, you will see a driver's record and the next folder below as E1D, then open that and find WIN7-32.

Thus, prompt update driver manually navigate to: 7-zip created\E1D\WIN7-32\E1D6232 folder and select I217 Intel(r) connection Ethernet-LM in the list and see if the driver installs.

The contents of the folder E1C has only XP drivers for ethernet adapters more older (I've looked).

  • Compaq CQ58 - 299EV updated driver for windows 7

    Hello

Since I was my compaq laptop (about a year), it was windows 7 64 bit operating system inside, even if the manual was for windows 8. So, when I looked up initially for up-to-date drivers I couldn't find support for win8, but I chose not to because I saw tons of compatibility issues with this model of laptop. Well I'm not going to be updated soon, so I would like to know what are the latest drivers I can find for my model for win7 64-bit, and/or what model video card he joined, so I can find the appropriate drivers for it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @fivos ,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

I see that you bought your laptop about 1 year ago. It came with Windows 7 and an option to update to Windows 8. You do not want to update to Windows 8 or 8.1 and want to keep Windows 7.

Where have you bought your laptop? It is highly unlikely that HP could ship a computer with an operating system not supported. Maybe someone returned the computer laptop but has not reinstated the changes.

Here is a link to help you with updates.

  • Compaq CQ71-145EZ HARD drive upgrade to SSD

    Hi all.

My drive hard Compaq CQ71-145EZ gives the death rattle, so I decided to replace it with an SSD (SATA II, 128 GB OCZ Octane).

When I replace the existing with it, however, the BIOS does not recognize. I get an error 3F0 and a message saying that there is no disk drive.

I have the installed Bios F.23 InsydeH20, but an unable to find a way to get the advanced features of the BIOS I've seen mentioned in other forums.

Can someone tell me if this machine can take a SSD? What should I do to get the machine to recopgnize the drive?

You need to head on over to the forums OCZTechnology.com. You can use the tutorials they have prepared for all types of OCZ SSD installed. You must prepare the SSD for installation.

Here is a link to the Guide ABC 2013 OCZ SSD technology.

You can download and use tit toolbox OCZ PC Bootable to install the SSD. Without a partition on the SSD it not to be recognized by the BIOS.

Identify your SSD and follow the instructions. Your SSD Octane is not the SSD SATA2, SATA3. Octane SSD is a product of end of LIFE. Did you buy it second hand? It came with a three year warranty.

    Kind regards

    ERICO
