  I am trying to upgrade the current bios (v1.60) to the later (v2.10), I downloaded P0054v210.exe but when I try to launch it I get the error ' BIOS update is not supported in the OS... "I tried compatibility mode XP but still no luck." I don't want to have to reinstall XP if possible.

  I've read elsewhere that install the value Pack might work, but it was already installed. I've now uninstalled the VAP and installed again with no error reported. Still unable to run P0054V210.exe.

  However, when I try to run the installation of HW in the folder utilities Toshiba in the start menu, I get "HCI load error!" followed by "SCI load error!" but it puts then a box of dialoge Setup with the 'General tab ' with details of the current version of the Bios.
