The only suggestion I can offer would be manually install the graphics driver Vista support for your laptop and driver, page and see if it works...
BTW, the nc6400 has the mobile Intel 945 chipset, not the 965. The 6910p has the 965 chipset.
Download and run this driver... You will probably get an error of unsupported operating system.
Conclusion of any windows error.
Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller (or Microsoft based Display Adapter) who need drivers.
Click the driver tab.
Click on set to update driver.
Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.
This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp38833.

While I was able to help you get everything working on W7 which was not supported in your notebook for the last time, I think that W8 is not going to work.

First of all, download and run the graphics driver for Vista. Conclusion of any errors that may appear.

Do the same for the audio driver. Simply browse through the number of different files.
If the audio driver will not install, access device, being connected to the internet Manager, click the multimedia audio controller and click on the driver tab, click on update driver then Auto search. See if windows update detects a driver that works.
You should try to install the driver of fingerprints of Vista and see if it works. Try to Auto or manual.
You can try the software W8 protect the tools of this model and see if it records your fingerprint.
If none of this works, abandon any hope of obtaining W8 work on your PC, and back to W7.

Well, I finally found the problem. I discovered that the graphics driver that I had on the Lenovo site have actually NOT installed us. When I ran the Catalyst Install Manager, the Manager showed global progress bar, but it did not install anything. That was pretty weird.
When I ran the driver Catalyst install listed in the Chinese link that was given to me in this thread.
It actually installed and now everything seems to work. I asked of Vision engine again, I can use switchable graphics and I just tested with Dark Souls prepare to Die Edition without any problem. The game is actually more smooth.

I have a newly purchased HP 15-ac047ne laptop. Whenever I have let windows automatically updated, update the full operating system for windows 10, I keep losing the Catalyst Control Center as well as the AMD graphics driver (which I noticed because the adapter is gone from Device Manager.) So I ended up back to factory default with windows 8.1 and kept all the automatic updates turned off. In addition, update drivers on this unit is very annoying... so I went here because I'm tired to reset the laptop to factory settings, whenever things get screwed
Issues;
1. is there a simple and effective way to get the latest drivers for my graphics card? (AMD Radeon r5 m330 / Intel HD Graphics 5500) The fact that it is switchable does not seem to make the drivers from amd site adapted, so IDK
2. why dxdiag only shows Intel HD Graphics 5500 and not AMD Radeon r5 m330

I bought this laptop a while ago, like almost 2 years, and probably more. It was powerful enough at the time, and I was very happy with it. So when Windows 10 came out I've updated, everything went well, but I made a mistake.
I used a program that automatically updated the drivers and downloaded one which was not intended for my PC. Since then my Acer will be not completely closed (the screen goes black, but the lights switched on, the drive keeps spinning) also restarts fairly slow with a large clicking noise as it stops the HARD drive and that shouldn't happen restarts in my possession. Although any of this happened if I play for awhile, watch the videos and do things.
I tried reinstalling every driver, reinstallation of Windows, every difficulty on the internet that I could find, but all this would not help.
I even replaced my with a SSD HARD drive, reinstalled completely windows on it, so new a own, bought a Bay optical caddy so I can replace my DVD with the TOSHIBA HDD Recorder. Even in that case it wouldn't work. Reinstalled driver BIOS, still nothing.
I don't know what to try more, I really need your help, guys!
I guess you Haswell - of the month last most people use the Windows driver 8.1 Intel Management Engine Interface as a workaround for the sleep/shot, stopping/blocking issue in Windows 10.

HP Laserjet 1212nf: Windows 10 and Hp1212nf problem
After the upgrade to Windows 10, I have not been able to print from my laserjet 1212nf. I used HP Print and Scan doctor, and that the software recognizes the printer. In my settings, the printer is selected as the default printer. I downloaded the LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution from HP, which is supposed to give me the new software and drivers. Unfortunately, the installation stops after that I chose install via USB and click Next. The USB connection is not working. I tried to re - connect the USB on both ends, but nothing works. I am at a loss as to why the office connection USB does not recognize the printer USB connection when the software clearly sees the printer. Any suggestions?
Thank you very much for your help, but at the time where I received the response, I was with a computer techbician it unravel. What we had to do was erase all files from HP on the computer and try again. Once we did that, the drivers and the new software installed perfectly. We don't know exactly what it was, but clean up previous files installs and updates was the answer. Everything, including the scanner works perfectly now. Thanks again.
