  When you say that you can't uncheck, do you mean because it is grayed out? If so, click on the padlock at the bottom of the window to activate the change.

  and I'm back just 2 days after purchase. The touchpad is very sticky. It moves in all possible directions in the body of the laptop. Also, it does not detect click LMB and RMB as it should and even sometimes simply do not resposnd at all. Even the body of the display is not uniformly mounted-> it moves on a right side.

  When I bought cheap Acer 1,5 years ago (V3 - 571G) I think this product is very poorly designed, now I see that HP is almost as bad as this V3 - 571G.

  Lenovo of OSD (on screen) to Fn + up/down brightness setting only works with the help of their updated display driver Intel HD 4000. If you updated your driver, either by a MS update, or an update to the Intel driver, it breaks the OSD. To correct, roll back only the driver for the installed Lenovo driver or a download that driver on the Lenovo site and install it.

  The same applies to the Fn + F6 to turn off the trackpad. If you use a updated driver trackpad, it breaks Fn + F6: Lenovo's to control the trackpad.

  I never use the "Control Zone" button on my laptop because I use a wireless mouse.  Before that I have upgraded to Windows 10, I was able to disable the touch pad continuously.  Since the upgrade, I have to go to the control panel and turn it off after each reboot.  Is there a way to keep the key setting as disabled until I have decide to change myself?

  Try the following.

  Hold down the Windows key and press R

  In the run box, type regedit and press enter

  In the registry editor, navigate to the following

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

  Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

  If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

  Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

  Close the registry editor.

  Disable Synaptics ClickPad in the usual way, and then check if this setting is now preserved after a reboot.

  Just moved from an older HP laptop and I am unable to disable my touchpad.

  I use mostly the mouse and all sorts of strange things happen if the touchpad is enabled...

  I solved the problem.

  Laptops the jealousy of the high-end (mine is an Envy 15 t-q100 have more keys that can be turned on/off.)

  I wish that HP had not removed the double click.  It is simpler and faster.  Aparently, this has been done because some would accidentally double press the key and disable it.  That never happened to me and I wish they had asked me before the change - or at least offered an alternative version of touchpad in the configuration process.

  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  I have a true/false question.  If the user gets the question wrong, I want the correct answer to display in the control zone when they click on the examination at the end of the quiz.  I Lynda.com and two books, E-learning Uncovered Captivate 6 and Mastering Adobe 6 in captivity and still can not get the correct answer to show.

  I think I'm supposed to insert the correct answer by clicking on the study area and typing the correct answer in the box of box-latest Question review Messages where it is said, "the correct answer is".  Is this bad?

  6 Captivate review has totally changed, it is not the bad or the good response that appears as text, but correct/incorrect responses you have checked (green tick for an answer correct, red for incorrect and a larger scale for the question itself) during the review. Only messages of incomplete, biased correct may be displayed (not in 7 a, have a special graduation) and for accessibility reasons I guess other messages will be read if a screen reader is used, but they do not show for normal users.

  All messages have been shown in previous versions. And are you serious: is this not mentioned in these books, find it strange! Tutorials on Lynda.com are very basic, here, I'm not surprised.

  In previous versions, these messages would have been the same for all the questions, only an indication of the correct and given the answer changed on each slide.

  I think that your alert windows are causing confusion.

  I have parental controls on my iphones of teenagers. I can also set the AT & T data time limits. Adolescents simply change the time zone of the iphone so they can walk using data when they aren't supposed to.

  You can not. The time zone on the phone setting should not have anything to do with AT & T cellular data limits. Those based on time on the cell towers. Contact AT & T

  Or just take the phone away from them if they can't be trusted to follow the rules.

  I just bought a Satellite S50-B-12R with windows 8.1 (64-bit) yesterday, after using the Mac OS X for a few years.

  It costs me little effort to get used to the differences, and what worries me is also that it seems impossible to customize the trackpad in the way I prefer, that iswithout reverse scrolling (I prefer to move down on the scroll key down rather than the meaning opposite) and secondly to disablethe ' tap to click on ' function.

  I searched the forums for a while, but most people seem to be able to select / deselect a box "tapping" or "tap to click", while mine simply informs me on the fact that tapping will click, without giving me a choice of power or turn it off.

  Similarly, Mac os I could choose scrolling feeling myself, but here again there seems to be no way to disable the reverse scrolling.

  The only solution that would work for me I found to this day had to do something with the registry, but as I am almost new in windows still (at least for a long time) I'm a little hesitaiting to change these things already.

  Is there a way to customize the way key which I have just mentioned?
