HP CP3505X: LINES HORIZONTAL YELLOW WITH EVERY PRINT

HELLO TO YOU ALL SMART PEOPLE!

THIS IS MY FIRST POST SO GO EASY!

We know what causes the lines on the attached photo?

I tried cleaning etc but no avail. I just ordered a replacement yellow toner. but the I is full of 70%. The printer did only 3500 copies easy again. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you Luke S

Hi David

Thanks for the response and the advice.

I installed a new cartridge today that has solved the problem of the line, Hooray!

I looked by lifting the suspended door, which seems perfect all around the transfer roller internal defective cartridge.  I might have when I have the time to open the cartridge to see if I can find some internal problems as its too old to return.

Curiosity also makes me what to see if I can understand what could cause the toner to run through an impression but leave a space in the middle and be so symmetrical, may also remove the toner and transfer in labor when becomes weak.

all games and fun! now where this light sabre!

Could someone tell me what are the causes of the problem?

The fact that once you clean this area points disappear tells us that the plotter is somehow always disposting of ink in this area. Do what asked the above post and I also want to remove each print head, one at a time and clean up the edges to verify that there are no residual ink being placed down by the edges. Do not clean the center of the printhead with anything as you may damage the nozzles.

Why an I get the test page yellow and black with each print job? I have a HP PSC 1350

Hi - I assume that the page that you see printed is the alignment page.  This happens usually if the alignment process has not been made.  All you should have to do is take the printed alignment page and place it face down on the scan scanner glass and press.  Who must complete the alignment process and eliminate the page printing every time.  If you have problems, try following the procedure described in this document.

    Hope that helps.

  • Horizontal line going through random pages printed by LaserJet P1102w

From time to time, I see my P1102w print pages with a small horizontal stripe. This happens only on a single page (not the one just before or just after). I looked in the manual and don't see in the troubleshooting section.

I doubt that there is toner low, such that it has less than 1000 pages are printed on the current toner.

    Any suggestions?

Nothing on this page that you linked to, adapted to my problem.

I just changed a new toner, and after 75 pages or more, I have yet to see this horizontal line randomly. It was printing on pages 5 to 8 or more, then it is a fairly representative sample.

It is strange, however, assuming that it is the toner. I got about 1000 pages out of it, maybe less, but it is a bit disappointing. I put in when I am done with this new toner, just to get my money, but still...

  • ERROR MESSAGE HP6700 - PROBLEM WITH THE PRINTER OR INK SYSTEM CONTACT HP

I JUST BOUGHT A HP OFFICEJET 6700 (LESS THAN 1 WEEK), THE PROBLEM OF PRINTER OR INK SYSTEM MESSAGE, TURN PRINTER OFF THEN WE IF THE PROBLEM CONTINUES CONTACT HP. IS DISPLAYED ON THE PRINTER SCREEN. I DID EVERYTHING SUGGESTED, AND MORE MORE, BUT THIS CUSTOM MESSAGE CLEARLY.  ALL DIAGNOSES OF THE PRINTER THE PRINTER IS FINE.  THE OPERATING SYSTEM IS WINDOWS 7.

    Mahamoud,
Your article made a walkthrough basic troubleshooting, ending with the question if the print head is repairable. Because it is not on the 6700, the article isn't really the problem.

Here is the solution I found to this problem:
I discovered that eliminating all ink cartridges allows the printer at startup (although there is a message saying the missing print cartridges).
Putting the cartridges in a binary regression revealed that the ink has been bad. (In my case, I only got the message of failure/printer ink when the yellow cartridge was in the printer).
Replacement of the restored cartridge the printer functionality.
    That's the good news.
Now the bad news: for HP.
The generic error message indicates a failure with the printer or the ink system. No differentiation. With the electronics in the cartridges (that the client pays a high price for), looks that HP could not understand how to indicate a cartridge problem. This error message is not only unnecessary, but misleading. The printer indicates only a power reset and then contact HP. There is no indication that he might be a cartridge problem, not to mention what cartridge has failed. By the way, my customer encountered this problem when you replace the color cartridges. The cartridge failed was a new replacement.
All of the web enabled features, fax, scanning features, print included with this printer are not very useful if the user can't get the dang thing to print.
Another problem with this printer, is that, even when you only print in b & W, the printer uses little color (ostensibly make Blacks more "BOLD"). Then, finally, a color cartridge will go low or empty, even if only B & W printing. And guess what, you can't continue to print n & B if one of the color cartridges are out of ink. Thus, HP... How is this useful printer in an office environment, where most print tends to be B & W?

(I would add; the solution in the message of failure/printer ink cartridge cannot fix your problem if, in fact, there are a few default printer. But if the problem is in the ink system, then the troubleshooting cartridge can help you).
I have posted similar comments on Amazon, for this printer, in the subject line: shame on you, HP.

  • Connected HP - 'problem with the printer '.

Having not used the 'Apps' on my HP Photosmart 7520e for awhile I discovered that my printer is recognized on logging in HP ePrint, as "one line", but here's a yellow Triangle telling me 'problem with printer.

My printer functions ok but if I try to use an application (I tried to print the calendar), I get the message "unable to connect to web services. "Cool Internet access and try again.

I tested the printer by sending a test print of my Tablet and that works fine but Apps simply do not seem to recognize a web connection.

    Quite simply... Out there!

    Hi OnnaBugeisha,

Thank you for being a member of the community of HP support.  I understand that you are unable to get the applications to connect from the front panel of the printer and you get a message "Problem with the printer" in connected HP.

Connected HP sometimes gives a false report that there is a problem not specified with the printer. HP has been able to reproduce the error.  If there was a genuine mistake, the message would point to the problem (low on ink, paper, etc). Unspecified error message does not prevent you to use ePrint.

Regarding applications is not enabled on the front panel of the printer, HP is aware of the problem and working on a solution. It is recommended that you have your updates of product set to automatic on the front of the printer in order to receive the update as soon as it is available. • Designjet 111: HP Designjet 111. Cross any line put in place every time his tour on

    Hello

I have a HP Designjet 111 with a feed roller.

The other day one of the printhead needed replacing I did. Now, whenever I turn on the printer, it goes through any line established the points of printing color page. It prints three times which takes about 5 minutes. If I turn the printer market again once he does all this again.

I tried to replace the print head with one another but same problem. I always use the new genuine HP print heads and HP ink cartridges.

Once set up over it print without any problems.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

This is because it does not have alignment.  It tries 3 times.  Look at the line with the X in the right margin.  It is the color, the origin of the problem.  Just look at the small boxes and you should be able to tell what printhead (s) must always be replaced. If the print quality is very good, then simply press the Cancel button as the first leaf begins to print and it will cancel the calibration.

  • HP Officejet 5740: there is a problem with the printer

Every day the printer (not standby) turns on and shows "there is a problem with the printer. Turn the printer off, then on. "why what is happening every day?

This problem got solved, later. Although tech hp sent me the ink HPInstant and that they "reset" of my printer, the error message returned in a few days and continues every day. Another call to Tech Support/InstantInk advised me to return the printer for an Exchange (it's 60 miles a way back). We decided to install Instant ink cartridges, as a last resort to resolve the error messages, and it worked. No error message. I put the original ink cartridges in the printer I can use those to the top. Still no error message and this printer now works well. PERSONAL OPINION: When we enrolled in instantink, hp tried to contact our printer via wireless (whatever) and when it failed an error occurred every DAY, after the installation of the instant ink cartridges a connection has been established at hpinstantink have finished the registration process.

Is this a hardware problem? The printer is only 6 months old and so under warranty, but I buy an Epson if it is!

    All ideas welcome

    Thank you

6 months and under warranty. Call HP for replacement.

  • Problem with my printer - printer spooler does not

Printer Spooler not working do not, said no installed printer, doesn't let me install again running with windows Xp.  I can do no problem before working with this printer for 10 months with no problems, is there a solution.

Often, but not always, the symptoms you describe are caused by a corrupt print job stuck in the queue or a damaged printer driver.  However before you clean things up, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

    AntiMailware MalwareBytes
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

    Cleaning of printers

NOTE: If after completing step has the print spooler is not always running after you launched the command "net start spooler", you will not be able to follow all the steps in "First Article".  Use of the special procedure for printers Lexmark described below and follow in its first Article.  If still no joy, use the alternative method that is linked below.

    A. Clean on print jobs pending

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line

    net stop spooler
    del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
    net start spooler
    output

    B. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article.

A special procedure for computers that have or had a Lexmark or Dell-badged Lexmark printer.

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)

Type the following in the black command prompt window and press enter

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS
    output

Note that there is no space before the =

If you want to use a Lexmark or Dell-badged Lexmark printer after having done the above, you will need to reinstall it.

  • "communication not available with the printer" message when you try to print to a Lexmark 1270 x all-in-one

I am running windows xp family.  I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, I get this message when I try and print to my lexmark x 1270 "communication not available with the printer. I tried every troubleshooter, I contacted Lexmark support that they gave up, saying: it must be a file is missing from the windows registry, you can help me?

It seems that if you say that the pilots were not reinstalled successfully.  What was the mystery file that could not be found?

Do you remember how the software has been uninstalled?  Was something else than the control panel > Add / Remove Programs (or the link "Uninstall" from start > all programs) used?

If you do not really clean things, attempts to reinstall the printer drivers may actually just end up putting the old drivers back in place.

This is the easiest way to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers: Article 1.  The critical step is #4.

This page has more detailed advice for cleaning things out before you reinstall: http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

I asked the firewall and antivirus applications because sometimes, some security software may interfere with the printers.  This shouldn't be a problem with the firewall of Windows XP and Microsoft Security Essentials.

Finally, your problem could end up being hardware related.  Lexmark support has no hardware troubleshooting operation?  The manual for your x 1270 says:

All-in-One is not communicating with the computer

    1. disconnect and reconnect both ends of the USB cable. For more help, see the
    installation documentation.
2 unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, plug it in again, and
Press Power. For more information, refer to the installation documentation.
3 restart the computer. If the problem continues, remove and then reinstall
the software. For more information, see page 16. [which ask you to remove the software using the link "Uninstall" - which is not complete, as described above]

If you have another type of printer USB cable, you should try it exchanges.  Ideally, you need to connect to the printer on another computer, but maybe it's not convenient for you.

  • E2500 router communicates only with HP printer cable.

I have a HP color LaserJet 2605dn printer and router e2500. I decided to run an Ethernet cable from the router to the printer instead of via the USB port of the laptop that works fine for a couple of years.

Is the green light on the router would be flashing quick or light yellow on the printer. Guess there is a communication problem. After some reading material at random on Web sites and messages, I manually changed the IP address of the printer: 192.168.1.110 (that is outside the range of the DHCP users (6) quantity, which starts at 192.168.1.100)

Leave the configuration window Panel > devices Printers & I added a new "Standard TCP/IP Port" to match the one I put manually (192.168.1.110).

I varied results when I ping this new IP address while that the yellow light on the Ethernet port on the printer flashes quickly. Sometimes I will have 4 packets that have been sent in the ping also received, sometimes none are received, sometimes 1 and sometimes 2 packets are received. For example, ping results are contradictory and I don't know why that should be.

I guess that none of my configurations 'Basic Wireless Settings' and "Wireless Security" have an impact here. After all, I'm trying only to communicate with my printer wirelessly via my laptop to the printer via a network cable. Also, I'm not a very technical person. I managed to get this far, but I'm at a loss for what keeps my router to communicate with the printer of mine. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Using the printer management page, make sure you on the JetDirect Automatic for networking information. If your automatic support of networking, it must acquire an IP address from the router if the LAN cable is in good working condition. Make a print on the printer configuration page to see what IP address it acquired from the router.

If you decide you want to put a static IP address on the printer, make sure you on the JetDirect information
Manual and instead use 192.168.1.110 tends in the poole DHCP address, try using 192.168.1.26. You will need configure the printer driver in windows accordingly to point to the IP address.

  • How can I fix lines horizontal randomly and glitter for the LCD screens for HP Pavilion dv5 Vista?

How can I correct random lines horizontal and glitter for the LCD screens for windows vista HP Pavilion dv5? Only, it happens randomly and can get all a few minutes at a time every few hours. The entire screen white and black and horizontal lines will appear during the flickering on the half top of the screen only. Nothing else changes. My sound is immutable, and none of my screens change the size or location. However, they may appear up and down during the flashing. Can someone give me an idea of what is wrong? I looked on Google for possible corrections, but most of them seem to be for refresh rate and I don't have a notch for this and can't change it according to the steps they offer.

Read my initial response on what it takes to please.

    "See if this helps you:

These lines indicate corruption graphics driver or lack of graphic material.

Go to the HP Web site > Search a drivers and download article > search your laptop model number > your operating system > drivers for it: either video / graphic / Chipset (according to the wording it) > download and install the drivers.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

If that fixed it, it seems to me be a problem of graphic material.

Because it's a laptop; If under warranty, contact HP.

If is not under warranty, contact a repair shop, local. »
