HP Deskjet 1050 all-in-one: cannot parse with the new 1050

I've been scanning with Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and a Lexmark printer all-in-one.

Printhead from the printer become blocked, and fixing was too expensive, so I bought this HP printer. Installed and it is lacking. It prints and copies fine.

When I tried to scan, Acrobat knew HP was there and he tried the Lexmark. When I plugged on the Lexmark, he systematically planted everything I tried.

The only change is the new printer. Somehow its installation has made it impossible for me to analyze each device.

I'm at my wit's end. Help, please.

Hi Bob,

Acrobat Professional 8 are supported Twain compatible devices, while the HP printer do not support Apple ICA applications.

As a reference, you can find the following Adobe article:

You can scan using Capture of Image or the HP scanning application, then open / import the digitized in Adobe.

    The Photosmart 3210 printhead a permanent.  You will need to have available in any color ink not to damage the print head.  Your only option is to get the refill for empty ink cartridges.

    The printer detects the wireless (2. 4 g) network, but can't coplete the connection. Tried the two direct input the network key and using WMA.

    -The display panel shows "wireless invalid password (WPA) is entered.

    -The results of network printer test page indicates a FAILURE on safety.

    I was able to connect to multiple other devices (laptop, iphone, Kindle...) without any problem. Used the two direct entry of the key network and WMA.

    Anything else I can try?

    Find a new update of the firmware for the printer (May 9, 2016).

    After you apply the update, the printer is able to connect to the new modem.

    I see you are trying to use your Deskjet 3050 on Mac 10.9.2. I will try to help you with this.

    OS X v10.9 Mavericks: installing and using the printer on a Mac, this document would you guide in installing the printer on Mac 10.9.2.
    If it is installed early return uninstall. You can also study the reset printing system and do a check and repair disk permissions, and then try to reinstall. Here are two Apple documents to help you:
    OS X Mavericks: reset the printing system.
    12.x disk utility: repair disk permissions.

    For the above, I, a Windows 7, 64-bit computer. I tried to reinstall the printer, but whenever he asks me to re - start the computer as some files should always be deleted. Once the computer is restarted, then the software starts the Setup program and install, but it gest to the point to repeat once again the message above need to reboot to remove some files pending and so on.  This creates an endless loop that never installs the software.

    Any ideas?

    I'm sorry you have a problem with the drivers.

    Try a couple of different steps of uninstall.

    1. click on Start Menu

    2. Select all programs

    3 right CLICK on COMPUTER

    4. choose MANAGE

    5. go under the tabs (image and devices and printers).

    6. If the printer is on any tab, right-click top, and UNINSTALL

    Also try clicking on the start menu

    1. choose all programs

    2. Select HP files

    3. choose the name of the printer

    4. click on uninstall

    Let me know if this uninstall all printer software.

  • Cannot scan with the new printer HP Envy 5660 using Mac running iOS 10.10 Yosemite

    You just bought a new HP Envy of 5660.  Has been guaranteed by the sales staff, it was totally compatible with Mac Yosemite.  It is not the case.  The CD supplied with the printer software is not functional with Yosemite.

    I did research online and you have the printer to print wireless, printing from my iPhone and copy.  Not sure how I did TI-trial and error and 2 hours of time!

    I can't scan.  HP Web site says that their software must be installed, etc, etc, and then use the HP utility function.   Can't do because the CD is not compatible.

    Any suggestions?  I don't want really worries the printer back to Amazon.  I called HP and they said I can't talk to their Tech Department., but that's all.  Appreciate any help.  I'm not a true geek.

    I understand that you can't print from your Windows Vista system to your desire of 4500 from the evolution of your router. I would like to help!

    Try running the print and Scan of the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Please send me the results.

    Try to print again, and if there are problems or errors, please tell me what they say precisely and I'll read them for you! Also ensure that you are trying to print outs in addition to a program.

    Two years ago I have toshiba purchest mine 2 is the toshiba satellite L450D - 13p runing windows7! And my partners is the toshiba satellite pro 7 also runing windows!

    The problem is that my hard drive is scrap, so I purchest a new 500 gb HDD, instaled it put in the disk I got with him and nothing?

    In general you can swap the HARD drive or update it with more a (ability), but the installation of recovery should work. It is important to use compatible HARD drive for certain system.
    I did several times in the past. No problem at all.

    After HDD change the value of the BIOS default settings and start recovery installation using created the recovery disc.

    Start your laptop and when you see Toshiba welcome screen pres F12 repeatedly to enter the boot menu.
    When the menu is displayed on the screen, put the recovery DVD in the optical disc drive.
    In the menu choose you CD/DVD and press ENTER.
    Installation of recovery should start.

  • DeskJet F4180 all-in-one. E and the flashing light message

    Under the Attention light black/photo flashes, an 'E' is informed by the start the copy.  I do not have a paper jam, I removed the ink cartridges and put them back int (they have ink). I closed the computer and the printer down commpletely and turned off the power play and leave it for several minutes before restarting.  I disconnected and reconnected the cables to the back of the computer.   Help!  I have a few contracts I need to scan it and send it off.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am very, very disappointed with my recent purchase of the HP Deskjet 8600 pro.

    From the beginning the scan to computer option was non-existent... Reading some comments suggest that this is not an uncomon problem, dating from the time of issue. After several uninstall resettlement efforts, as well as download of the 2.16.1 update nothing works, I installed the software mountain lion... This resulted in him actually detect the computer function analysis... but it could still not scan because fault kept the wireless connection. I then applied the advice to install 2.16.1... and magically I was to place 1 - analysis of the function of the computer is gone.

    This is my first purchase of HP products, and frankly I am impressed...

    I suggest that you remove the HP software by following this document the printer software uninstall . Once it's done I will have you reset your printing system (do not re - immediately add the printer), and then run a check/repair your disk permissions. Once this is done, please reboot your Mac and to ensure that all the Apple updates are completed. Once this is done, I would say you install v10.9 OS X software once more and let know if you get the scan to computer option.
