  This is not possible with Thunderbird out of the box. Thunderbird can send e-mail messages. If you find an Internet service accepting e-mails and convert them to a fax, you may be able to achieve.

  I was wondering if the cause of the problem is the fact that the folder my documents is re-located to a folder of data networking, because who has moved fax and my documents folders.

  Reinstall the Windows Fax Services.  See How to send faxes from a Console of MS Fax using Dell 922

  If you have installed an XP Service Pack (if all goes well, you're up to sp3) since the origin of Windows Installer, stages 6, 7 and 8 will probably be ignored because the installation routine goes and gets the necessary files from C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles.  If you get the files 'necessary' screen mentioned in step 6, use the Browse button to point the installer in C:\Windows\ServicePack files instead of CD player as suggested (the fax have been updated).  If this does not work and the installer complains that specific files cannot be found (for example, fxsapi.dll), files can be compressed in C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles form (search, for example, fxsapi.dl_) and you will have to develop them.

  Note that the Dell 922 does not seem to have built-in fax ability.  Instead, he sends faxes through a fax modem installed on your computer using Windows Fax Services.  Presumably, you have such modem, because you used to be able to send faxes.

  As you can see from the link above of MS, Vista Home versions do not come with Fax software.

  Home Premium, you can only change it to Vista Ultimate, which has included Fax software.

  Had had enough and took my phone shop Vodafone. They gave me a replacement SIM, after verifying that all my settings were correct. When they took my old SIM, they commented "oh, my dear, you have an old SIM you don't have it" [the story of my life!]. Inserted the replacement SIM card and went home. Found that I could get only SOS via the phone and SMS messages could not be sent to all them [rather than be left as "pending" as they were before]. Technical support phoned and nice lady spoke to me through the authentication of SIM [seems it didn't had not been 'authenticated' entirely by the store], turned phone off, removed and reinserted new SIM and switched back on. And that is, all flashed in life!

  Now also supported top and syncronised my old palm PDA to the blackberry via Outlook - everything is going very well and now in market! Next problem - will not work quite how to transfer my documents/spreadsheets, but this is the problem of the future!

  Check the settings and fax and scan, try the following steps:

  i. open Fax and scan

  II. click on tools

  III. Select fax settings and click on the monitoring tab

  Click the following to adjust how to be informed about the status of a fax sent or received. By default, all notifications (appearing under the name of pop - up balloon notes), fax settings of the monitor and sound options are enabled

  IV. ensure you that you check all the options listed in the below location (under notifications and Fax Monitor)

• PRI all-in-one HP Deskjet 3520: Deskjet 3520 printer all-in-one copy, but will scan and print computer

  This printer has always worked well... used only occasionally. The cartridges are fine.  Everything prints out fine computer, it scans very well, but does not copy.  Looks like it's copy, but shot out a blank page.

  I understand that your 3520 Deskjet is no copy making more correctly however, you can print and scan without a problem. I will do my best to help! I might be far away but I suspect that there could be a problem with the printhead and it printing black ink. I say this because when you print from your computer, normally the ink colors mix to create a composite black, and when you print copies, it's only the black ink cartridge that is used.

  I want you to try a power reset and make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

  Turn on the printer.
  With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.
  Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  Wait at least 15 seconds.
  Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
  Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.
  If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

  Please also try the procedure described in this guide and get back to me with the results when you're done and I hope that we can reach a resolution!

  Given that the Fax icon is not displayed in the window of printers and devices, you need to uninstall and reinstall the software again. This should solve the problem.

  Hello

  I just inherited a HP Deskjet F4280, printer all in one and put in place.  It auto downloaded the correct driver from Apple and added the printer in system preferences / print and fax.  I use OS 10.10 on a mini mac computer.

  I tried an alignment page and it prints blank page.  Goes through the motions as if it's really the impression, but the page is empty!  Tried a regular document via overview and MS Word, same result... blank page.

  I checked and the utility said all the cartridges are fine and have enough ink.

  I deleted the printer and readded twice and reset once the CUPS.  Same result.

  Any other ideas?
