HP Deskjet 3050 ink cartridges compatibility issues.

You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  • HP DESKJET Ink Advantage 2010: Should I remove the Deskjet printer ink cartridge during transport?

Hello! I want to ask you if anyone can tell me how to correctly carry a printer?

I use the printer for 2 days (so ink cartridges have been placed only 2 days ago) and would like to know if:

    1. I have to remove the cartridges. If I remove and reinsert will still be usable?

    2. it's OK to carry the printer on the side if the cartridges are inside. Or I have to carry the item in its upright position?

I hope someone can help me as soon as possible because I'm leaving tomorrow morning.

    Thank you!

    Hello @nikkiyzq,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I hope that's going to happen to you until you leave. Take a look below for instructions of proper care for the HP cartridges:

Storage and handling of the ink cartridges

I do not recommend storing the printer on the side, you do not want any ink to flee.

I hope that answers your questions.

  • DeskJet 712C: ink cartridge is stuck in the right side and will not go

I have an old DeskJet 712C printer which was working fine until today. Strangely, the ink cartridge is stuck in the right side of the printer and will not spend. As soon as I turn on the printer, the red light starts flashing. Does anyone know tricks to get the cartridge to move again? Thank you for your help.

    Hello

It may be possible to move the cart if you turn the printer off. Unplug the printer and open the cover of the printer.  See if you can move the carriage by hand.  If possible, move the carriage to the Center.  Check that nothing of blocking the abnormal movements of transport - for example the pieces of paper.

Close the cover and then plug the printer back. I hope this will help.

I found a YouTube video that shows fixing carriage jam on printers C4200 (I know that they are not the same as the 712 C), but some of the suggestions will be useful if my initial thought above does not help.  the video is on this link:

Once again these tips are not specifically for your printer, but they can help solve your problem.

    I hope that was helpful.

  • Help! Problem with ink cartridge compatibility Photosmart C4383 in my current position

Need your help! I bought my printer in the Middle East almost 2 years already Photosmart C4383 with ink cartridges 140 (black) & 141 (tricolor).  Since then, I have in my country now, resides in the Philippines and I always use the printer.  This week, I already have run out of ink Supply and decided to buy a.  Since then, I bought the printer in another country, I decided to check the site to ensure the compatibility of ink cartridges.  The results stated that the Photosmart C4383 belongs to the Photosmart C4380 series and it also says here that HP74 (black) & HP75 (HABs) are the compatible cartridges for the printer in my area.  Since then, I always have the tricolor ink cartridge available 141, I decided to buy only the HP74 (black) ink cartridge.  But when I place the HP74 (black) ink cartridge for my printer, I was surprised to see in the display as the ink cartridge, I bought is not compatible with the printer. I was so disappointed because if I can't use the product then I lose money and and check again and again in the sights of compatibility of ink in my area said but still the same thing as HP74 (black) is the compatible ink cartridge and also saw a result stating to "reset the printer to work in my current position."  Need your help to enlighten me and give me the right solutions to these problems and the steps how to make good sense.   I need to use my printer so badly. Thank you.

You will need to Contact HP and require a reset of regionalization.  It will take you have access to your computer and printer so that on the phone with HP agent.  If the C4383 is a model only sold in some regions it is not possible to have the region reset.

  • discount for printer hp deskjet 3050 ink level has

How can it be done after the filling of cartridges

The short answer is: you probably can't.  Filling of ink cartridges is not an activity approved by the majority of manufacturers of printers and cartridges contain sensors that do not allow to reset after filling.  But for a definitive answer, you need to ask HP, not us; We control works of HP hardware.

  • How to remove, head clean print Photosmart C6380. 6515 Photosmart ink cartridge compatibility

I had found information several months ago on how to remove and clean the print head, but I can't find it now.  I replaced the Photosmart C6380 with a 6515 Photosmart because when the 6380 stopped working I had to buy a large amount of ink and the 6515 used the same ink cartridge #.  However, the 6515 will not accept the cartridges with the error message they are an older generation.  I think that if the cartrides were not compatible, a number of different cartridge should be used.  So now, I want to try to solve the problem with the C6380 printhead, so I don't have to trash my entire ink supply.

Here is a document on how to clean the contacts on the cartridges themselves.

I think that the removal of the print head and of cleaning you're wanting is in this post here.

Please note that soaking the print head should only be performed on the print heads that are out of warranty. Check that warranty end date to the printhead located by the contacts on the print head to make sure he went from warranty. The reason I put in custody which is a printhead soaking, a guarantee will be cancelled.

With a dropout of transport error, there are a few things you can try. This document should guide you through these steps. If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer. I bought my model printer J 410 HP Deskjet 1050 in India nearly three years ago, I used to install 802 small cartridges as replacement. • DeskJet 2540: Ink cartridges Deskjet 2540 because out of the box

I just implemented the Deskjet 2540 I bought yesterday, using the black and tricolor cartridges 301 which is entered in the box. Both cartridge lights are flashing now, and I get the error message that cartridges have failed. I tried to remove and reinsert the cartridges, power cycling the printer according to the instructions in the HP support and gently wipe the contacts on the cartridges. Nothing has worked. It seems that too much of a coincidence that the two print cartridges are defective right out of the packaging. Any ideas?

Time to take it for a refund or a replacement.

  • Deskjet 3510 ink cartridge problem

I have been printing for a few months now, first using the cartridges supplied with my printer, and then the XL cartridges, I bought separately. Suddenly, I got an error (without code) that there was a problem with the color cartridge. I removed and reinstall the color cartridge and was able to print correctly. After that I printed this page, I got an error (without code) then that there was a problem with the black cartridge.

Since then, I deleted and reinstalled both cartridges, which did not solve my problem.

I then cleaned the heads and cartridges according to the HP troubleshooting page, which did not solve my problem.

Then I replaced the cartridges with new cartridges, which did not solve my problem.

Any other suggestions, or do I have to contact HP? Or return the printer?
