HP Deskjet 3520: Windows 10 update, failed to refresh an ink

Since the update to Windows 10 I lost the HP page that allows me to update the ink, scan to printer, etc.  How to do that now?   Your help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

DiGill

Hi @DiGill,

I saw your post about software problems you encounter since the upgrade to Windows 10 and I would like to see if I can help.

First, you must consider the information contained in these resources.

If you printer software was installed before your upgrade, I try to uninstall the software completely and then reinstall it by using the most recent driver available on the HP Web site. Here's how to clean all the drivers of your computer.

I recommend referencing the steps described in this document to make sure that you haven't missed anything whatsoever;  Uninstalling the printer software - use as a rough guide, but the steps for Windows 8 should be pretty close to Windows 10.

You can also delete files using disk cleanup - take care to put check marks in selection boxes when it is available. (Once again Windows 8)

Software drivers can hide other places would be in your device manager.

To open Device Manager:
1) enter the Device Manager in the search field.
2) click on Device Manager.
(3) you can click on View, in the upper part of the windows, click Show hidden devices.
(4) to develop the types of devices and check for any pilot associated with your printer.
(5) to remove a device from Device Manager, click on the name of the device in the list and then click Uninstall.

For more information, see for Windows Device Manager information 8/10.

Download the newest software package here; Drivers and software features full printer e-all-in-one HP Deskjet 3520.

Or download the direct link here.

Then look for the updates of Windows; Drivers and software with Windows Update (Windows Update 10, 8)

Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

Thank you

So, recently, I decided to reset my computer acer laptop with the built-in Windows 8.1 feature and start using it again as a new laptop costs. But it seems that I can not...

First of all, it turned my windows 8.1 to 8 that he was at the beginning when I bought my laptop. I agree with this, if the case was just to start the installation of 8.1 and BAM... Fact. But in fact it is more complicated. I need to install all the updates of windows 8 first. So I opened the windows update and there were 127 updates. I had no choice so I started downloading all that took me as always (it said 0% most of the time and then suddenly went to 90%). Then I was forced to install. It is AIDS. At forever too. Then he said that I have to restart my laptop and made. It took a while. Has begun. East past 98% and said: he has failed. Now I wait again to undo the changes. So, how am I supposed to install windows 8.1? Why is it so complicated? Lost a whole day in front of this failure? ... Please tell me what to do. I want to just my original windows 8.1. Is it possible to install it without updates? And I hope that I'm not stuck in a loop of changes back because I'm going to kill myself...

  • Windows 8 for Windows xp update fails at 90% and does not start.

I read the below and see if there are solutions.

I paid for 1 hour to help Microsoft Tech to take on my desktop computer and at the end

He said there are so many chat lines, he could not follow after clicking on install.

He beat anything, antivirus, I disconnected all devices except the mouse and keyboard.

Of course the update, which I downloaded and confirmed with their diagnosis that the

computer has been updated failed 90% and would not restart.

When I went to system logs, I even tried to disable restore.

    Nothing helps.

I think there must be something which is not allow restarting after installation.

The message just says: failed to install. No diagnosis or whatever it is.

If a Microsoft technology, which grabbed my computer couldn't do work I'm close to trying to get

my money back and stopped a complete package. I don't have to Microsoft backup disk, which
    I'll try again.

Once again: problem is installation of Windows 8 reaches 90% and then only will fail.

... Install only Windows 8 reaches 90% and then fails.

Windows Update has nothing to do with the upgrade a Windows XP-based computer or install Windows 8 (.1).
