HP Deskjet 3632: Specifications on paper Photo Compatible for Deskjet 3632

I am in digital art and wanted to do something special for my grummum using Photoshop. I want to buy the photo paper to print my work and mentor for her.

This is the first time I buy photo paper for my Deskjet 3632. Money is tight at the moment and I would like to look at the prices for other brands of photo outside the HP brand paper. The problem is, I don't know what to look for.

QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE:

1. what weight of the paper on photo paper is compatible with my printer?

2. do I need to get some finished paper as not bright, shiny, glossy, soft bright or are they all compatible?

3. in addition, what is the largest size of paper, I can print on my printer?

Thank you.

p.s. It's 3 questions, I ask you to answer.

@MANDEEx88,

My apologies for the confusion.

Up to 200 g/m2 (110 lb index maximum) up to 20 cards cards
Up to 280 g/m2 (75 lb bond) up to 20 sheets of photo paper

Welcome to the HP Forums @DuBar!

I understand that you have pictures of difficulty printing on photo paper. I'm not familiar with a Laserjet 4630, you might have Officejet 4630? If you have indeed the Officejet model, even if you have already cleaned the rollers and interpreted some of the recommended solutions, I suggest to review the following document to make sure that you have completed all the necessary troubleshooting: 4630 Officejet HP and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4640 e-all-in-One Printer Series - a "paper" Message is displayed on the control panel and do not Pick Up paper from the printer. " You may notice the document seems to apply to ordinary paper and is not specific to the photo paper, but the solutions presented can help.

  • HP 2540 printer: printing on paper photo 4 x 6 half

My printer is only an impression on half of the paper 4 x 6. I changed the settings, preferably on my printer hp photo paper paper, but it's just the small photo printing and on the edge, leaving a large space. If I cut the picture down, it would be too small. Any ideas why this is happening.

While creating a slide show with pictures, can you assign music to a specific set of photos? I would use 5 different pieces of music for every 5 parts of my slide show.

No, you can't.  One solution is to create 5 different slideshows and export them to the office where you can bring together them in a single quicktime movie file and use it.

If you have a copy of iMovie 6 HD, it can be hacked to work with El Capitan. With it you can assign exactly music groups of slides in the slide show:

  • Printer will print pictures on paper photo 4 x 6, even when I tell the print menu use 4 x 6.

I chose the choice of paper photo 4 x 6 in the print menu. It's the view that HP post in response to another request for assistance and the obvious and logical solution. But the printer driver (?) does not take account of this and simply everything in SIZE from 4 x 6, print an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.

I work with Windows 7. TWO of your printers refuse to print on paper: a HP Photosmart 6515 and a 6510.

Please advise, or do I return these defective printers to the store I bought it from.

First of all, I must say the people of HP who responded to this and several similar questions that were all in the wrong direction.  Most often, they direct you to a link that tells you to go through all these steps ridiculous to get out your paper and re - insert, reset the printer, etc. all without success.

This is a problem with the HP driver is not properly installed on Windows (I have windows 7).  After that all unnecessary steps, I have decided to go watch settings drivers device and of course, the only one installed / elevation paper tray was for Tray 1 with letter paper.  Once I added a paper to tray 2 option (the photo tray), it worked very well.

So for he goes outside in finer detail:

Go to start > devices and printers (even when it comes to windows 7)  If you have a different operating system, obtain the properties of the printer)

Right-click on the printer and select "printer properties".

Click on the "Device settings" tab and add the photo tray and paper of 4 x 6 size.

Click on the 'button 'apply' at the bottom.

That's all!  You should be ready to print your photo from the photo tray!

Hope this helps others who have the same problem (or save at least through a bunch of steps that don't work)

  • How can I set up my new Officejet Pro 8600 more printing on paper photo 4 x 6?

How can I set up my new Officejet Pro 8600 more printing on paper photo 4 x 6?  I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit.

It's strange.  Looks like you have a second paper tray and put it to the default tray.  The second paper tray only supports the types of paper that show on your list.  It's strange because unless you have purchased a second tray paper, plus model has one.  Does only the high-end model.  Other than that, only certain types of media can be duplex, so if you have double-sided printing, it can limit the selection.  I'll watch what else could be the cause and get back to you.

  • I am trying to print on paper photo Magnectic

    Hello

Woud appreciate any help on this, because I have a beautiful picture I want to turn it into a fridge magnet.

I had a bit of paper photo magnectic and I'm trying to print on it using a Photosmart HP 5510, it will only take that paper up and no further details, it does not reach the printhead.

This type of paper is not in the choice of paper, so if anyone has any idea how I can do that I would appreciate your help.

I use Adobe photshop and 8 64-bit Windows.

On this printer this kind of paper is not a supported media type, and for several reasons. The thickness of the paper, it is difficult to go through the printer paper path. This could cause the magnetic material get stuck or broken in the printer which could cause damage in the long term to the printer.

What brand of magnetic photo paper you bought?

And if my HP envy D 700-038 compatible for MIRACAST, why the tab 'add a wireless display' are not show.

Lol it doesn't seem to be able to Miracast.

If it were, HP would have included that in your desktop computer specifications.

The simplest solution is to buy and install a USB or PCIe wifi adapter that is capable of Miracast.

  • 7520 HP photosmart e-All-in-one: printer Photo ink for all print jobs

Why my printer uses ink cartridge photo instead of the regular cartridge for all print jobs? I need to change a setting? He uses ink photo when I print documents or photos on the internet and it's always the first cartridge to change. How can I get it to stop and use the regular ink cartridge?

    Hi @ohchango,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you are curious about the black photo cartridge on your HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer. I'd be happy to see this with you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

Photo black cartridges are designed to be used, it cannot be bypassed or ignored. When printing from your computer, you can set it to print in grayscale (black ink only), meaning that it will use less of the photo in the black, but they will still get used for maintenance. For more information, see use of inkjet printers ink.

NOTE: It will use the black photo cartridge for printing black if photographic Support is selected for the type of paper or printing is set to auto or to a picture frame.

In order to help you, I'll need more information.
What operating system do you use?
Mac OS X: How to find which Mac OS X Version is on my computer?
Windows: How to find the Windows Edition and the Version on your computer.

If you need assistance, please let me know the instructions above. I look forward to hear from you.

  • What must I do in order to tap on a photo?  for example, a photo of CD cover? [was: Hello APL users]

I'm new to Lightroom.  What must I do in order to tap on a photo?  for example, a photo of CD cover?

Via the print Module, you can use an identity plate, which can be a chart that you created in another program or text that you have selected, coloured and formatted. It can be superimposed on the image, moved and size.

Instead of printing on paper, you can print to JPEG.

  • ICloud using photo library for the first time

I am considering switching to iCloud photo library for the first time - mainly so I'll be able to use the new functionality of memories in iOS 10. However, I have quite a large library of Photos on my Mac and I'm worried about the mistakes of synchronization, bugs and any damage my irreplaceable photos. I have a Time Machine backup, but each backup on which generally only lasts a week or so, and with a large library of errors can take some time to appear. Should I be worried? Are there precautions I need to take?

In view of all the people who use it, there are very few messages on issues. Since you have a backup, you can still recover. You can consider to get a 2nd external and make a copy of your photo library in order to have 2 backups. Depending on the size of your library, you may need to purchase additional iCloud storage as free storage space is 5 GB. With a large number of photos, it will take much time to complete the synchronization. Some people have posted their s took 2 to 4 weeks. Our respective synchronization went well and we had no problem.
