HP Deskjet F4435 comaptibility with Windows 8

Original title: HP Deskjet F4435

I have the disc but bought it a year ago and never got around to install on the computer.  Now when I try, I get an error message that it is for windows 7 and I have 8 and it is not compatible.  What can I do to fix this?  Thank you.

Try to go to: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html . Enter the full name of your printer and download and install the necessary drivers/software for windows 8. Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.

I need an updated driver for my HP DeskJet 1280 work with windows 8 pro 64-bit, has issued summer yet?

No, and it will not be because the 1280 is an abandoned product.

What you have to do is to go to control panel > devices and printers > add a printer.

When in the process, you can use Windows Update to search for a driver, take it. The list of compatible printers is growing exponential, and your should now be in the list of printers HP or Hewlett Packard... This may take a few minutes to grow...

  • I need an updated driver for my HP DeskJet 1280 work with windows 7 64-bit, has issued summer yet?

I bought a new laptop with windows 7 64 bit home edition, my HP deskjet 1280 printer-A3 color is detected as an unknown device and asks to install the disk driver. This does not work, I am aware that when windows 7 are first released such a driver is not available.

If you have the HP website for Vista 64 bit, try this one, it should work in Win7.

  • How to install a printer hp deskjet f4200 series with windows 7 ultimate

I have the disc and when I put and try to add printer says spooler does not feed so I tried to diagnose problems and it says something about the not shared printer and it drives me crazy. Why can't I install a simple printer?

    Hello Angela,.

The spooler service is required for a printer at work; It starts automatically when Windows starts. So the first thing I would say is restart your computer without the disc. Then, once the computer has restarted, insert the disc and try again.

If this does not work, you might want to try the hp.com site. Here, you can download the latest version of your driver, but also diagnostic tools that could help to diagnose printer problems. Go here and enter your model number: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html .

Let me know if this helps you.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

To answer your question - YES - but you must use the HP software and drivers, not one provided by Microsoft.

Here are the drivers and software for this printer page: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-DeskJet-2130-All-in-One-Printer-series/7174550/model/7174551

You must download and install full feature software and drivers for the printer.

Then unplug the printer and install the software.

Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.

Once the installation is complete, restart.

You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

    Good luck

  • HP Deskjet 3051 a J611: help with Windows 10 drivers? Incompatibility problem?

Hello, I had to get help with a problem with my printer HP Deskjet 3051 a J611.

I was always able to properly scan using my printer until I installed the update for Windows 10.

I use a Sony VAIO computer Fit portable (may 2013 model) originally shipped with Windows installed Pro 8.1.

After I installed Windows 10 and I tried to use my scanner two weeks later (it prints very well), I can't seem to use the same program I was using before 10 Windows to use my scanner. I tried to use printing HP and doctor Scan to fix my problem, and he told me that my printer had an unknown driver error that it could not solve. I also tried to reset my laptop (and power cycling the printer) and to uninstall and reinstall the driver for my printer.

One thing to note: I use my printer using the wireless and wired (via USB), Wi - Fi for the scanner and the printer.

I usually use the printer function when I want things quickly, using an app on my Android phone, or otherwise, using my laptop (wireless, of course). But when it comes to use the scanner, I find it works much more quickly to use it via USB on my laptop via the Wi - Fi.

Thank you for your help (for that).

    Sincerely,

    ~ Miguel G

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed...

Please download and install the software FULL of printing to HP for your operating system (Win 10) features:

  • HP Deskjet 4200 Series not Compatiable with Windows 7

MY PC has been upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7.  My printer HP Deskjet 4200 does not work now and is not compatiable with Windows 7.  Are there updates to the printer or I am now without a working printer

    Hello JMG121250

For any future reference do not include you the serial number in the forum posts.

On a much lighter note, you will find the driver download page. Simply choose your version of Windows 7. I asked you the entire CD because it is more than likely that it contains only the driver Windows XP or Vista.

  • DeskJet 1010: the deskjet 1010 printer work with windows 10?

I'll upgrade to Windows 10, just check to see if my Deskjet 1010 will go with me. It currently works on Windows 7. The 1010 Deskjet is perfect for the little printing I do, I don't want to change printers if I have to.

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

As mentioned here : most applications and designed for Windows 7, hardware drivers or later should work with Windows 10

Windows 10 is not yet officially released. Unless it is officially released drivers, no official support is present. For now, no official guarantee cannot be provided. However, I am sure that it will work properly. 10 Windows should recognize automatically.

  • My hp deskjet 1050 J410 series is not compatible with windows 8?

I downloaded the new drivers and I am able to print with my printer HP deskjet 1050 J410 but I am not able to scan anydocumants. I can't open the HP printer Assistant window. The error reads as follows:

Adobe reader software cannot open HPSPProgress.hta because it is not a supported file type or the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an attachment to e-mail and has not been correctly decoded).

I don't know if this has to do with my default programs or what happens. I am currently using 8 64-bit windows.

    Thank you

    Hello

The doftware is fully compatible with Windows 8, the question appears because of the wrong configuration of your operating system to start the HTA with Adobe Reader files wrongly.

Follow the steps below, this should solve the problem:

    1. Click the Windows (the key with the Windows Logo) key + keys X, and then open the Control Panel.
    2. Select programs.
    3. Under default programs, select make a file type always open in a specific program.
    4. Lecate and double click in the list .hta (HTML Application will appear in its description).
    5. Select Microsoft (R) HTML Application Host.
    6. If such an option does not appear, click Other Options.
    7. Click find another app on the PC at the bottom of the list.
    8. Navigate to C:\windows\system32 and select mshta.exe
    9. Click on Open, close all windows and then try to open the HP software.
  • DeskJet F4200 Series CD Incompatible with Windows 7

    Hello!

Now I have a new HP G62 Notebook with Windows 7, 64-bit, and the CD for my Deskjet F2400 gives an incompatibility message when inserted in my notebook. The CD is for Vista and earlier operating systems.

I downloaded/installed something called "dot4patch_reboot", I found a solution in the support section, but always the same 'inconsistent' message appears.

    A sollution that works?

I suggest you go to this site www.hp.com/support

take note of the number of your product for your printer, then put on this Web site and when you get to the page where you will be asked for your operating system checked if there is a driver for a windows 7...

    If there is:

    1. choose the proper win 7 x 64, and then click Next

2 locate the pilot field and then select or search for full features software

    3 dl and install

    ENJOY!
