HP DESKJET Ink Advantage 2135: My printer is not connecting to my computer

I get a weird message from windows 'the last device you connected is not recognized by windows. I don't know how to solve this problem. Help, please

Usually, the best way to resolve this type of problem is to uninstall the printer and then reinstalling it again.

Download the full recommended software here...

Turn off the printer, then unplug the USB from the computer.

Right-click on Start, choose Control Panel> programs> uninstall a program.

Uninstall everything about the HP printer , including the printer, HP image zone, Director of HP's image, or what is installed on your system.

Also uninstall all other printers (if any) that you do not use.

Restart the computer and the printer (do not connect the USB cable again).

Right-click on Start and choose Control Panel> hardware and sound> devices and printers and make sure that the printer is no more. If that is the case, then right-click on it and choose Remove the instrument.

Install the downloaded software and drivers from above. Follow the instructions that it will ask you to plug the USB cable into the computer.

    If printing works very well in the beginning, black print cartridge installed, you screenshot, now the black ink is about 20%. But is that the ink level "estimated".

    I recommend you replace the black cartridge. If the problem is still there with a new cartridge installed, you may need to contact customer service, they will help on troubleshooting below.

    First of all I must say that this device is working wery nice on any brought mode where is posible to install the drivers.

    We intend to use this printer in a sort of device whitch is runing on windows embeded system (windows ce 6.0) and it supports only PCL5, so I have 2 questions

    (1) how can I access all of the settings on the printer (in most of the cases we find that if we disable USB port HP smart install, start of device operating on these old protocols)

    -under windows, this device is detected, port is correctly changed the USB to turbine BP, the document is sent but device.

    (2) if we will be unable to set up this device can you suggest any other (perhaps only printer not all-in-one) printer that can print PCL. (is is appropriate for this work OJ pro 6230 (E3E03A)?)

    The all-in one DeskJet Ink Advantage 2135 does not support the PCL5 Language of Description of Page; It only supports HP PCL 3 GUI, which is a language that is hatched.

    This is true for most of the inkjet printers, except for the most expensive models oriented profession (e.g. OfficeJet Pro X 476).

    I came across your post about prints print more small as selected in your system Windows 8.1 for your Deskjet Ink Advantage 2135, and I wanted to stop doing you to share my own suggestions.

    I would recommend these steps!

    1. run the print and scan the doctor for Windows in order to solve printer problems

    2. Uninstall and reinstall the printer and the software (run the set printer to reinstall the Printer Wizard)

    3. try to print from different programs

    These steps should dissipate any problem with the printer driver or software that could be causing the problem.

    I bought ASUS CHROMEBOX-M106U at the same time and DeskJet advantage 2135, but once I have connected printer to the computer didn't work, appears a message to install "HP Print for Chrome" on the shop online and follow the instructions, but it seems that the printer is not recognized, I tested the printer with a computer hp laptop win 7 and worked well.

    Any idea on how to solve this problem? -Don't you think that a TP-Link TL-PS110U print server can solve the problem? -in the case that it can solve the problem of TP-Link TL-PS110U is compatible with DeskJet 2135 advantage? or which printer server is suitable for this printer?

    I just bought printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 this morning. After arived in the House, I set up the printer much. and I'm trying to print a photo in photo gloss paper A4 180 gr. I put the picture full size A4. but when I print it, the result makes me disappointed. It cannot print to A4 size. isn't that reach the size of the letter. my picture cut at the end of the book.

    I read the specs of the printer before buy you. It is said that the printer can print A4 size. but they do not mention on a Cup at the end of the book.

    My question is:

    • what I can do about the problem? (I tried the regional and language settings, but it does not work)
    • is this hardware problem or a software problem?
    • Can I get my warranty to be replaced by a new and fixed? How?

    I hope that there is solution. help me with that.

    The technical specifications list the print margins, the printer may not exceed the margins you can find listed in the paper handling > print margins:

    As you can see below in the section of handling paper, borderless printing is not supported for the printer:

    This is not a defect, these are the limits of the printer that you can find listed by its specifications.

    I saw your post about the problems you are having with your black cartridge and I might have some suggestions that you might try.

    1) are you using genuine HP ink cartridge? HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. HP does not guarantee the quality or reliability of the ink cartridges not HP or full HP ink cartridges. If you don't use a genuine HP ink cartridges, the steps in this post could not solve the problem you experience. We could also see how supplies no HP compared to reloaded cartridges or reconstructed according to the buyers lab report.

    I also see the limited warranty for cartridges HP ink and print heads replaceable by the customer of consumable inkjet HP.

    (2) you mentioned that you had this printer for 3 months - is always the original ink cartridge that came with it? Is is possible that the cartridge is empty, you have tried a new cartridge yet?

    The following information is in this article; Using ink in ink jet printers - it addresses different aspects of using ink with HP printers.  Ink is used in a number of ways throughout the inkjet printing process. In general, ink in a cartridge of ink is used for printing of documents, photographs and these other materials. Some ink, however, must be used to maintain the health of the print head; little ink is residual; and little ink evaporates.

    HP offers two models of General inkjet print head: integrated into the ink cartridge (integrated print head: HPI), and a long lasting printing head integrated to a printer that has individual ink cartridges (IIC).

    There are several circumstances where color ink may be used mainly to improve the print quality and sometimes improve printer reliability, even if the document appears to be just black text-and-graphics. Many printers HP uses chemical interactions to improve the quality and permanence of the black paper text-and-graphics by adding a small amount of color ink in some black areas. A few dark images that have black air may contain a combination of inks, black and color. For photos and images in black and white, a mixture of colors called 'composite black' can be used to achieve the image quality greatly improved and more fluid gray tones that can be accomplished with only black ink. Some inkjet printers use black ink, Pigmented, which is incompatible with a bit of photo inkjet paper. In this case, the dark or black areas are composed of color inks. When I try to print any file it looks there is no error, everything works fine, but after the process of printing on the screen of my computer, I see not all documents printed by the product. I downloaded the latest updates of it, I installed the current software of the product's official website. I tried to print Word Documents and pdf files, but none of them worked.   • HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 - Scan button does not work.

    I use HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 for a week. I had a problem on the scan and I do anything to research how to fix this problem, but I do not see the solution so I decided to pos t here.

    When I click on the scan button on the control panel of the printer, but the scanner is a no longer works, the power button flashes but the scanner does not move during this time, I watch the power button flashes slowly you see only (unless you look carefully). I tried to use HP Print and Scan doctor and scan test and it work properly and other kinds of Scan test that works well. The only problem is the Scan button in Control Panel of the printer.

    What do you do? Any suggestions guys?
    Either way, I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit

    I have a DeskJet Ink Advantage 4625, which I use on a wireless network.

    Worked very well.

    Replaced WiFi router D-Link DSL-6850U.

    Now only the fax device is displayed: "Fax - HP Deskjet 4620 series (network).

    When I connect the printer via USB - printing device is installed: "HP Deskjet 4620 series" and it prints OK, but I'm not able to get the device to print via WiFi.

    Ran "Doctor Setup" 2 times already - tried to "convert USB WiFi".

    But it only converts the fax device...

    I see that you have connectivity problems.  I would like to help!

    I would recommend your computer off.  Once the computer is down, select Setup on the front panel of the printer, and then select network.  In the network menu, select default network.

    Once the default values have been restored, unplug the power cord from the printer and the electrical outlet and remove the power of your router for 60 seconds.

    After 60 seconds, reconnect the router.  Once the router has started broadcasting, reconnect the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

    After that the printer is turned on, run the wireless configuration.

    My printer is a Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525. I bought a new cartridge 655, but it did not work in my printer. The printer showed it's a full cartridge but printed paper was empty total! I did the whole method of repair (head and new facilities of cartridge cleanings) with no result. The black bar was too empty on the test page.

    I bought a different brand new black print cartridge 655 and tried everything I could but it's the same!

    I have the latest software for this printer.

    So I have two new black cartridges and I can't print in black! Color only those working!

    Do you think that the printer has gone wrong? Should I buy a new printer?

    I see that your black ink cartridge will not work with your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525, and I am happy to help you!

    If you have gone through all the solutions in this guide, the printer prints blank Page or does not print black or color ink for HP Photosmart 5520 and Deskjet Ink Advantage 5520 series e-all-in-one printer. Then, I would recommend getting a new printer, if it did not help.
