HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645: ePrint does not work

I bought HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645. Start ePrint feature is impossible.

I do the following:

(1) press (ePrint) buttons at the front.

((2) I get a failure... as ' proxy or Internet to check connection settings).

(3) given that I see the work perfect Internet connection, but on the settings, I found that there is no value of proxy and the port is 0.

I live in Greece (maybe the functionality is supported by my country?)

Thank you

Hello

I hope that you were trying to save the printer directly from the front of the printers, this is an additional method to enable the web service.

Once you connect your printer with the cable network, let the printer get the IP address.

Now plug your laptop or your PC in the same network.

Type the IP address of your printer in the address bar of the browser and hit enter.

Now, you will see the embedded Web Services Page.

Access the Web Service tab and click Activate or click the eprint on the façade of the printers and proceed with the registration process.

Now, the printer must be turned on and print a sheet with the claim code.

NOTE: If you don't see the Embedded web services page, try unplugging all other devices out of the laptop and printer, then restart the wifi, the printer should pick up the IP address and connect to the internet.

Your Internet service provider must be able to provide the settings of proxy for your network if its still does not.

Kind regards

Oliver

  • DeskJet Ink Advantage 4645: Wireless, Direct, ePrint

Hello. I have a small question.

I have a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645.

My printer provides services to wireless, wireless live and HP ePrint.

I question the concept of these functions and how they work.

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but the concept is briefly as below, as I understand it.

Wireless: a printer connected with the IP address of my computer, so a particular computer that is used for the connection to the printer is available for printing.

Wireless live: a printer works like a Wi - Fi connection, so all devices can be connected with the printer and users to print anything if they know the password.

HP ePrint: a printer has its own e-mail address. So if all users know the printer email address, then they can apply for printing assuming that is open to the public. Wherever they are located away from the printer, the printer will recognize this request and print it. Thus, it receives the query on the cloud server and processes in the printer.

I'm just to understand the concept? It would be preferable to use the functions after that I understand completely.

    Thank you.

Wireless: a printer connected with the IP address of my computer, so a particular computer that is used for the connection to the printer is available for printing.

Uh, no.  In fact, the printer is connected to your router SSID and given an IP address and others on the same network can use the printer.  Be it a computer or others.

Wireless live: a printer works like a Wi - Fi connection, so all devices can be connected with the printer and users to print anything if they know the password.

Yes, basically.  Usually only 5 can connect to the printer at the same time, the SSID printers.  We connect printers SSID, you cannot connect to your SSID (routers) Internet connection.  You can print OR use the Internet, but not both at the same time.  That's why people without routers can print without an ISP.  They use the cellular 3G or 4G to connect to the Internet.  Wireless would be Direct - use when you do not have a router.

HP ePrint: a printer has its own e-mail address. So if all users know the printer email address, then they can apply for printing assuming that is open to the public. Wherever they are located away from the printer, the printer will recognize this request and print it. Thus, it receives the query on the cloud server and processes in the printer.

Only if the senders address is in the list of users authorized to print.  This is implemented when you use ePrint.    Even if you know the e-mail address of printers, you cannot print to it unless you are on the list of senders allowed.  Otherwise, the ePrint server will ignore the command.

I'm just to understand the concept? It would be preferable to use the functions after that I understand completely.

    Thank you.

    I hope this helps.

  • 4645 Deskjet ink advantage: deskjet ink advantage 4645 ERROR

It is said that the cartridge black must be replaced by a deadlock on the screen message.

    (You can do anything)

After you have installed a new black, cartridge original HP 650, the message remained--if we have changed the color too.

Message remains: check the old cartridges (really less than a month old and there is no same het at 100 pages on them) and they were more than half full - two of them!

So now we're stuck - obviously something stupid with the printer, what can I do?

Of course, replacing the cartridges _again_ is a waste of money.

    See you soon

  • HP DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE 4645: FAX hp deskjet ink advantage 4645

Hello, I want you help me with a problem I have when sending a fax using my hp deskjet ink advantage 4645. I can send and receive a fax without problem, but when I send one, the person who receives complains that it is not good resolution and cannot be read easily. I changed the setting resolution standard or strong. There is no difference. Time my inks and inks of the other person are new. Is there anything else I can do to improve the quality of a fax, I can send? Thank you

    Hello

You could try a couple of things to see if it clears.

Make sure that the glass is clean.

Restart the printer by leaving it turned on and then disconnect power at the back of the printer and to the power strip or wall.

Wait 60 seconds, and then reconnect the power.  Let go around the bend on noises until it is ready.

Try to send a fax to see if the quality is now better.

If not then check if ECM (Error Correction Mode) is enabled.

Mode of Error Correction (ECM) prevents the loss of data due to bad phone lines by detecting the errors that occur when transmitting and automatically requesting retransmission of erroneous part. Cost of phone are not affected, or could even be reduced, on phone lines good. Poor telephone lines, ECM increases duration mailing and telephone charges, but he sends data in a much more reliable way. The default setting is active.

To change the setting of the ECM from the control panel

    1. Since the homescreen on the printer screen, press the up and down keys to select Fax, and then press OK.
    2. Select settings, and then click Advanced settings.
    3. Select the Error Correction.
    4. Select on or offand press OK.

  • OfficeJet 4630: brand new officejet 4630 with the problem of black ink and ok button does not work

Hello! Today, I bought a new printer, officejet 4630 and it included ink cartridges in the box.

ISET it upward as the sheet in the box said. After I had filled in date etc, I put in the ink (and Yes, remember to check it was compatible and take the Ribbon), then this message showed on the screen and still doesn't work:

"Problem of ink cartridges. The following ink cartridges need to be replaced"and a black dot.

The cartridges were brand new and came in the same area as the printer.

I tried a reset (taking the power cord, wait 60 s etc) I saw in the Hp support you need to press 'ok' to get rid of the message before restarting. I can't press ok. It sounds right. I press any button.

Suggestions? Of course, I can try it with a new cartridge, but to pay $20 for a new cartridge, when it was included in the box and should work is not correct.

I have problem with my printer. I can't connect it to the ePrint service.

After you have enabled ePrint in the web interface of the printer, printer does not print information sheet.

I tried to disable IPv6 in the printer.

I tried to print the fact sheet on the front panel.

I tried all possible methods found on the web, and even got my replaced printer - same question...

    Hello @ Averus89,

    Welcome to the HP forum.

I understand that you did a lot to solve your M176n and its connection to the ePrint service.

I want to help you with this question.

If the printer does not print the document to Web-based information services, or allowing you to add to HP connected, I have

    Set a manual DNS.

I won't go into the details on setting this up. From your post, I think you know your way around the printer and your network. If I'm wrong, let me know. I'll go into the details.

    The DNS to try is:

    Primary: 209.244.0.3
    Secondary: 209.244.0.4

Set the DNS, and then try again to print the web services information page.

Let me know if it helps.

  • Printer says ink or printer system does not work

The HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8600 printer is on our home wireless network. My wife and I have laptop with Windows 7. Us print wireless. The printer does not print, but gives us a message on the printer and on our computer screens:

"Failure of the printer. There is a problem with the printer or the ink system. »

He told us to reset by unplugging. We have reset several times by unplugging and putting the system power on and off. I ran the HP print and Scan doctor and the troubleshooting tools. I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP software. I downloaded all the drivers available.

I also took the print head and it reintroduced following the instructions to check the clotting, ink, etc. I also searched inside paper jams.

It scans the computer Wizard HP ok. Cannot copy because we cannot pass the error message on the printer screen.

Done everything but replace the print head. Nothing has worked. Print head is $ 120, so I'm going to buy a new printer for that price. Thx for your good help.
