HP Desktop PC 23-1014 - want to extend the display of page time
23-1014 HP desktop PC - my time view page for internet viewing isn't that 20 seconds, after that time, it then stops and returns me to the start mode to return my password - to return to the page I was reading. How to extend my page look at a time of one minute or more? Swordfish 55
Hello
Check the following points.
Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select Personalize. Click the link to screensaver at the bottom right. In the next window, you can adjust the time before the screensaver kicks in the menu drop-down 'Wait' and Remove the tick in the box next to "in»the logon screen curriculum vitae Click on apply, then Ok to save the change of the parameter.
Kind regards

Can satellite L550 - I extend the display?
Hello
I was wondering if I can extend the desktop on an external monitor? I need to work on a desktop computer screen double. I know the L550 has a VGA output, however-, I have a feeling, that it can only be used to send 1 office to a different view or duplicate.
If it makes a difference the model I want to buy is the L550 - 1 9 or L550-1CC
Thanks :)
Hello
Of course, you can extend the display. Simply connect an external monitor to your laptop and in the options of the display driver, you can select Office extend Windows on this monitor.
Have you tested this?

I already uninstalled the add-on NTP. I can't stand it. The question sums up exactly what I'm trying to accomplish.
What page you want as the new tab page?
If you want the website http://www.google.com for example then set the pref browser.newtab.url http://www.google.com
The default value for the pref is built on: page newtab with the grid 3 x 3 mosaic. You can use change in the context menu or jut double-click the pref to change its value.

Portege Z30 - need to extend the display on two external displays
Hi all
I'm running Bloomberg and need the image to extend on the screens LCD HD complete two 24 ". Including my current laptop's built-in display, I use three panels at the same time. I can do with the Z30 1 CZ? Should I buy a docking station for that?
Right now I use a ultrabook from another manufacturer but I'm not satisfied with the reasons that have nothing to do with the display. Currently, I use a docking station, where a screen connects by DVI and one VGA cable.
Can I use the VGA and HDMI from laptop ports to get the same solution with the Z30?
Best wishes
PeterTo my knowledge the display function depends on the graphics card/chip.
Usually, you can use a VGA or HDMI output.
VGA (RGB) port provides analog, HDMI provides digital signals, and as far as I know, you can't use both at the same timeHowever, you could buy a "hdmi adapter usb adapter allowing you to use two external monitors simultaneously.

How to extend the display of two monitors
Original title: disorders bi-ecrans
I tried to set up a second monitor to my computer. I don't have that one port, so used a double adapter cable to connect the second monitor. The computer will be in the image of the first monitor on the second, but when I go to settings to change them (I like the screen to cover the monitor2 mirror not) seems not even the second monitor is there even if it is on and working.
Hello
Here is a tutorial on how to set up dual monitors in Windows 7.

All you have to do is change the setting for several screens as extend these displays in the screen resolution window. This will allow you to move windows from one monitor to the other.

Want to extend the life of the battery in 5 days
Hello
Maybe it's more than a request for a new feature for the Apple Watch.
I still need to use my fitbit when going hiking in the desert, because I can not connect my steps because of the battery of the watch.
What I want to do is to disable all the functions of the watch with the exception of the accelerometer to connect my steps. I also remove the band and put it in a special wet belt clip case to protect it. I hope that in this limited function, I could get 5 days of steps out of the appliance before the battery wore out.
Anyone know if this is possible?
Thank you
-Tom
Hi Tom
It is not currently possible.
You can send your comments and suggestions to Apple here:

I have a HP p6653w desktop computer. Can I upgrade my video card and what is the best card to get to the games?
mathenson,
You can update the video, install any PCIEx16 card video and the new PSU (power supply).
The general answer is based on the games you play. It is best to search for the site of the game, reading the recommended list 'graphics card '. Then add a little more.
graphics card comparison site. http://www.hwcompare.com/6232/Radeon-HD-5670-vs-Radeon-HD-6950-2GB/
Each graphics card is then looked up, noting the length of the card connectors (power cards) required recommended PSU.
Example: XFX HD6950 2 GB:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150530
(1) two PCIE 6pin power wires
(2) card 10 "
(3) min 500W PSU, if you add up. Your 250W + card + fresh 200W generals = 600W
630W PSU will fix the wiring and size http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182200

Extend the display does not - second black monitor
I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite C655 and I connected a 2nd monitor in order to have two screens to work on. The screen resolution is set to the optimum level for each monitor, I chose the option "Extend these screens" and each monitor is set to a different refresh rate. However, the second monitor stays black. If I click on "Identify", a number 1 appears on the screen of the computer, but nothing appears on the external monitor. Even the mouse cursor does not appear when low-pressure on this screen. I checked for updated drivers, but Windows says I already installed the best drivers.
If I go to "Duplicate the poster", the external monitor displays the desktop and the laptop screen is black. I don't understand. It was working fine yesterday, but today when I turned on, I'll have these problems. I even tried plugging an external monitor that is completely different with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.
