HP dv6 7210us ENVY: ENVY Hp dv6 7210us motherboard
My computer beeps at me almost whenever I'm working on it. It's a beep distinctive high pitch and then a serious tone. I also sometimes hear a click, but I don't remember if it's before, during or after the beeps (I think it was after the second beep). Does anyone know the beep codes for the card mother (682180-501)? Thank you
Hello GLavergne... I'm sorry that you are having this problem with your ENVY dv6 7210us.
As has been pointed out by Hüffer, these codes only rejects BIOS during power upward. In this case, I don't think that the BIOS and hardware support beep codes - only blink codes. You can see by visiting http://www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startupand clicking through for laptops - LEDs blink or computer page will beep.
As you indicate that you are using the computer when it is happenning, you have exceeded BIOS in Windows. Something in your Windows environment is to launch the beeps at you.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

The HP Pavilion dv6-6154sf motherboard
Hello
I own a HP Pavilion dv6-6154sf. Native HD, a Toshiba MK1059gsm, out of retirement in the first two weeks of use, and I have no warranty on it because it was an exposure model...
It also appears that recovery discs are no longer available for this laptop (I wouldn't mind being wrong, however). I currently have another HD that came with my previous laptop inside, but I'm afraid it may fail soon also. So I have a few questions before I start spending:
- is the motherboard (Hewlett-Packard 3590 33.18, according to belarc advisor) supports the 7200 RPM drives?
- I understand it would be equal to 1) provide no support for SATA 2 or 3; (2) support SATA 2 or 3, but with the speed of the SATA 1; (3) support SATA 1, 2 and 3; so which of these possibilities is it?
- I might as well ask, always; is there really no way more (even from other sources) for me to get a recovery disk now that best2serve it lists as is no longer available?
Best regards

Hello world
I need to replace the card mother on my 3042tx pavilion dv6, laptop WY364PA #ABG product.
It seems a common problem with this series that the graphics chip gets cooked then the end of the story.
It's hard to find new boards for this model at any price, but you see some NEW NOT on ebay in [fully tested working condition]? at a price to consider, one that I look at the goods
but there is 1 number in this part number 592816-001 7F 1064
It's different from my part number 592816-001 7F 1044 If anyone can help let me know if there is a problem in the use of this card to replace mine. any help is much appreciated and thank you for this great forum.
jwbw
The only number that counts is the first xxxxxx-xxx, after that the numbers refer to the production race and do not identify with the Board of Directors. You can consider having it repaired by one of the sellers ebay running a repair shop at the level of the high-tech chip. Many boards sold on eBay have been 'renovated' in this way in any case and if you delete your forum I saw the repair service offered by stores very famous for something as a $75US. I don't want to endorse an any of them specifically, but if you need some references, let me know.

Pavilion dv6 1110ax motherboard replacement
Hello
Recently my 1110ax BIOS corrupted and m unable to get by any way mrntioned on the forums.
Key combinations don't work not and this USB STICK.
Now the service center guys say that the motherboard has problem and must be replaced. which I doubt completely.
Is that what someone can say if I can keeping my existing AMD turion processor & card graphics ATI radeon 1 GB to save cost.
And is it possible to upgrade the processor and graphics card.
I had been using this laptop for 5 years now and really don't want to give up on this...
Receive no response.
You can save the processor and the memory and the hard drive, but the video is part of the motherboard. The processor you have is:
AMD Turion RM-74 2.2 GHz with 2 MB of L2 cache
It's the fastest that can be installed:
AMD Turion™ ZM-87, 2.4 GHz with 2 MB of L2 cache
A ZM-87 is about $40 on eBay and I'll tell you that it is not worth it for a ghz upgrade.2.
Radeon 1 GB video is upscale for the dv6-1000 series, so there is no better mother/video card.
It's the motherboard:
509450 001
It is a good deal at $78 for the Board of Directors:

Dv6-6107tx: HP DV6-6107tx motherboard problems
Hi, I have a hp dv6-6107tx. The specifications of the laptop is i7 2630qm, graphics 1 GB HD 6770 m, 4 GB memory card. I want to replace the motherboard as it freezes after a few minutes of use, sometimes in 5 minutes and sometimes 30.
The question is if I can replace it with the motherboard which has 2 GB of vram instead of 1 GB. I'm not personally interested 2 GB but its cheaper on ebay and easily found. I found that the motherboard that supports Quad Core processors and has 2 GB of vram has part number 650799-001. I wanted to know if it loads my 2630qm processor and set up my laptop.
If you find my description of the confusing problem, please tell me, I'll try to explain it more.
Any contribution is appreciated.
Thank you
That the Board is listed in the manual and should be a drop in replacement for the Board you have.
Please see page 27. Your CPU is a Quad Core and is listed as compatible with the laptop and Board 650799-001. Just as the gel be sure and that are not caused by anything like the memory or the hard drive before the extraordinary step of replacing the motherboard.

ENVY 700-311na: my motherboard will return in this case?
Hi, Corsair has me ask to HP so I thought I'd ask just the Forum. What is the motherboard MSI Kaili works with a card mother Corsair Carbide 600 c? I know it's Μatx but the corsar link does not actually list Μatx. If anyone knows please answer that I will get this case in a few weeks, provided its use. See you soon
http://www.Corsair.com/en-GB/carbide-series-clear-600C-inverse-ATX-full-tower-case
Hello
The case is a full ATX case and the motherboard is a Μatx card that is much smaller. We must ask this question to Corsair: standard Μatx Council will agree to this case?, don't ask HP because HP does not have Corsair case.
Normally full tower case also has 'holes' for Μatx cards, BUT again, you must ask Corsair, not HP. HP uses Μatx standard board.
Kind regards.

Pavilion dv6 - 7013 B5S13UA cl: Pavilion dv6 - 7013cl motherboard upgrade
I want to improve my motherboard on this laptop for games purposes. I read somewhere that I can without AMD A6 - 4400M to an A10, but that it would be possible if I had two jacks (FM1 or FM2). I don't know how many shots I or type. Is this true? If so, how can I know how many taken and type I without disassembling the computer? If the upgrade is possible, is there a better still compatible motherboard you offer/recommend?
You have no catch at all. AMD models say this in the Manual:
Processor is soldered to the system board
You have this video:
AMD Radeon HD 7520 G Discrete-Class graphics card and up to 30060 MB total graphics memory
This is video APU. The video runs entirely in the processor. It is not bad as integrated graphics will, but is not appropriate for the game. An option for your model motherboard has this video:
Use only on equipped computer models of the chipset AMD A70M and AMD RadeonT HD graphical subsystem of 7730 M (including 2.0 - discreet video memory GB) 682183-001
Although not yet a video card "gaming" the 7730M would be much better than what you have. This motherboard comes with a processor of the A10.
This motherboard is quite expensive:

HP ENVY 700: Try to run a 3 monitor Setup.
I installed a new graphics card (Geforce GT 610) o my HP Envy 700. My motherboard has montior 2 plug-ins that are used, however when I installed the new video card it only doesn't show the monitor third at startup not the first 2 that are used on the motherboard. I discovered that I need to go into the Woods to change settings. Here are the steps I've tried.
go to settings > change PC settings > update & Recovery > Recovery > restart now > shoot evil > advance options > UEFI firmware > restart
After doing this, I get wood but I am not able to find the main graphics card to IGP > PCI > PIE for him to run at the same time. Is this okay, I am I doing somethig wrong. Is there something that I am missing.
Joe
Hello again @Joebarnes,
Ahh well integrated graphic card does not work with the new card is installed. This means you will need an active USB-> DVI or Active USB-> HDMI graphics card to connect the additional monitor. These can be easily found via a search online. Be warned that they will not even display those directly related, quality but they have audio and video capabilities.
I hope this helps. Thank you again for post you on the HP Forums. Have a wonderful day!

ENVY of HP dv7 7230us repair - HELP!
Hello
I am trying to replace my screen and processor, motherboard and having all kinds of problems. First my camera fell. During the re-booting I noticed the screen turned white, but the cooling fan has been executed and the charging light was still on. I also noticed that the cover lock blinking continuously and the wifi was on but orange. Since she was an ssd that I couldn't tell if the drive worked except the small led on the side front right was on. I then shut the machine down, not connected the power adapter, took out battery and not connected to the RTC battery. Then, I pressed the power button down for 30 seconds to erase all stored tension. I then reconnected the battery RTC, the AC adapter and the battery. After re-booting, the screen turn black. The caps lock blinking continuously and the wifi was on but orange. Essentially the description above. I bought a new view compatible, used ENVY dv7 7000 series motherboard and a processor AMD A10. The original processor was an A8. I then reinstalled everything and even put the hard drive installed in the factory, Toshiba 750 g, I got the same results as before. This time, I could actually hear spinning drive. If everything worked. I even tested the ram original in another machine and found it was good. I also plugged in a monitor and nothing. I am at a loss. I'm trying to send the Commission in Exchange for another. Anyone know what is happening here? I missed something? Would appreciate any input. Thank you
Al Hebert
In addition, the original processor, AMD A8-4500 Series, has 2 functions? CPU and GPU or is it just a GPU or CPU. I do not understand how it differs from the older processors. Thanks again
The relocation of the CROWD? I'm sorry what is a MOB. Yes, I remove the RTC battery. I tried to start it with and without the RTC.

DV6-6198sp: what fan is best to use with hp dv6-6198sp?
The laptop is originally a dv6-6153ea, but I upgraded the card motherboard and CPU than a dv6-6198sp,
He now has an ati 6770 and a core i7 2670qm that i need to keep cool
Time reach 95 on charge which according to me is not bad!
I have two fans that I have access, a sunon and an adda, both are the same shape, but it is not of this laptop.
The sunon cooled by a core i5 processor with a gpu 2410 6490
The Adda cooleda core i3 with an unknown gpu fan (I can't remember sorry!)
So what I need to know, is what fan would be better suited?
The Sunon is a .4w and the Adda is a .5W so I was under the impression of the Adda would be better...
But if someone could give me some more information on that would be great as I am really stuck now!
Thank you!
Hello:
I had studied your question - the HP part number displayed above your "dv6-6153ea updated' costumes for dv6-6198sp motherboard.
The two models share the same repair manuals.
Part of cooling fan doesn't really change depending on various Intel processors they have, but supported the graphical system by the Council.
