HP e-all-in-one 8620: paper stuck - 8620 HP e-all-in-one tray

I pulled out the tray paper (there is only one) to remove a paper jam. I accidentally updated the tray rear paper in a corner and now it is going in or out. It is about 3 "in its slot. I tried out with the printer in its normal position and also with him upside on carpet so I can see the underside paper tray. Is there some buttons or levers, I should be pushing or something else to try?

Thank you very much.

Hi @bdgrfan76, welcome to the Forums of HP!

I understand your test paper is now stuck in the printer and will go properly, nor can remove you it. At this point, I suggest use you a force to remove the status bar only. I wouldn't try to force, it would be best to remove it and reinsert it.  If the set is damaged you will need to order a new plateau and can do this by using the HP part Surfer.

I hope this helps and good luck to you.

Got paper stuck in the printer and now will only print proofs. How to reset the printer

It looks like you may have some saved jobs in your queue that need to be removed.

    Here's how:

To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the jobs/print pending.

You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.

To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.

The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).

If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup type" to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service immediately.  You must remove all print jobs backed up first...

Then, delete all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send the to the printer again.

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.

Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).

After the reboot, check again the Spooler Service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

Submit new failure of print jobs.

    Hello @DimitrisPl,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand you have problems paper jam printing of your HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-one printer and after removing a jam you found a piece of black plastic at the bottom of the printer that needs to be reinstalled. I would like to help you to solve this problem today.

To begin, please can I you click here for the jam troubleshooting steps. Once the support document opens please run through the Solution one, two, three, Solution solution and four Solution. This includes all sub-steps under the listed Solutions. Once we have determined that no other debris or jams are stuck in the print on your printer path, we will be able to reinstall this piece you found. Now, normally parts like this are non-replaceable. Therefore, it is not supposed to get out of the printer. However, I find in your printer which parts seems to come from a sector.  In the support document, I'm going to have run through to see the Solution three: step 1. The rear access area of your printer where the paper pick roller seems to be where will this piece of black plastic.

The image is under "Figure 10' in the support document. I think that you can just cut that part into its slot. Once you have reinstalled the game, please try again to print.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • T520: Small piece of paper stuck

The print paper at the end of the roller got stuck on the last 2 inches of paper, the printer has kept trying to print on this small amount until the paper was distroyed and wedged between the heads of the printer. I can not pull paper backwards because there is nothing to grab the hand on, and this really hangs in the rollers. I'm down to the last 3 reels but can't get out the paper.

    Help, please.

    Hello
Please turn off the printer and remove the paper tray for A4/A3 in the rear, there is a locking systems. Then try to remove the paper from the paper path. Now please carefully remove the transport aircraft with printhead with ink cartridges (from left to right) unit, then try to remove the paper from small pieces of printer paper.

If the problem resolves, please air flow inside the printer, then there remove it automatically.

    Thank you

  • Paper stuck on DELETE

My printer sometimes decides to not print a page. It says "printing" but never does. When I enter the Deskjet series 4100 screen to delete or cancel the folder 'pending', he says it's deleting the file, but it freezes just straight up. Leaving me unable to print anything else. I tried to change the priority to jump over the pasted file but cannot. How can I get rid of the page 'stuck '?

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

    Kind regards

The paper tray seems to have in the open at an angle and I can't get in or out.  Is there a way to disassemble the printer or another way to solve the problem?

  • All my desktop shortcuts all open the tray of D:\Recycle...

When I start first to the top of my Windows 7 PC, all desktop shortcuts open the Recycle Bin. The Recycle Bin properties indicate that it belongs to the partition D:\.
Other symptoms include trouble scrolling through emails and other lists (drag bar goes to the last point and won't set).
I tried a lot of bugs (sfc, startup fill twice reinstall Windows 7 and uninstalled all unused programs.) I ran CCleaner and other Reg cleaners. Nothing seems to help.
After 2-3 minutes, however, the shortcuts behave normally and the scroll function returns to normal.
What process is active during the first 2 to 3 minutes and then closes?

    One for the record books!
I found the cause of the wacky desktop shortcuts and it was so simple, I was almost too embarrassed to report it. I mentioned that any vertical scrolling page would always go to the bottom and do not stay anywhere else. In addition, by clicking a shortcut on the office always open the Recycle Bin.

Well, I found that I could "fix" the problem simply by pressing the Page Up once. All symptoms cleared immediately. Have you guessed yet?

The Page down key was stuck!

Well, I get a fresh install of Win7 and clean a lot of junk out of my PC, so it's not a total waste of time (close, but not quite).

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. Your talents and your efforts have taught me a lot about Windows I would not have learned otherwise.

  • "Out of paper" message on C 4280 all-in-One printer

    Dear HP support,

I use an Apple iMac around 4 years.  It uses OS x 10.6.8.  And the version of the HP printer utility software: 5.8.0 in conjunction with the software HP PhotoSmart C4200 series supplied with my printer.

After turning on my Mac and turn on the printer, I hear a sound of wrinkle the paper.  With the help of my manual I opened the front and back panel to get a paper stuck; None is visible.  As directed by your video website on my printer, I checked the print rolls in the back and they are clean and free from rolling.  The "2nd set of reels deeper inside mentioned in the video do not seem to exist in this printer model I've seen no where in it with a bright flashlight.  The rollers on the rear door printer are also free - ride clean and 'elastic '.

I tried to print a Test sheet using the HP utility.  Loaded into a sheet of 24 lb paper ordinary inkjet hammers I always use.  Pushing in gently until it stops as always.  Then click on the "Print test contact" button on the screen.  Then received on the printers screen and on my Mac is a message "on paper."  No printing.

Check my printer printing is not paused there either and there is no jobs waiting here.  In addition, according to the video on HP page my printer, I did a printer power cord removal, reset for 30 seconds.  The printer came back later and didn't report any errors.  Tried to print the Test Page using the above procedure previously; no impression and got the "Out of paper" message again.  Please note that I usually ALWAYS print just a sheet at a time, rarely even 5 sheets in both.  Yet he refuses to start.  This makes printer as usual noises when turn on so I know not the printer is not "dead" or locked inside.  It CAN Scan photos in files, even if it cannot print anything.

At this point, I think I've tried all that a consumer can do as well as anything in the manual and video.

Any ideas or suggestions?   BTW I DID do a search for this problem, especially for my printer model and found nothing.  I don't know if all other HP printers are similar to my model so I don't know if their corrections apply to my model.
