• Mac Book Pro and HP Envy 110F wireless printing problems

  I got my Mac book Pro for Christmas 2013 and initially had no problem printing wireless to my HP Envy 110F, but for some reason, I keep getting problems with printing to the envy of 110. We don't have printing problems with our Ipad for this printer.

  I can connect the printer to my Mac book Pro by putting 192.168.1.72 IP address in a web browser, but I get on the symbol bit offline when I print the urge. Last night I reinstalled the printer to print wireless on my mac pro book using a printer cable, which then worked well, but today the same problem reappeared.

  I'm starting to think that the problem may have started with the latest version of the update of the operating system to the Mavericks 10.9.4.

  Since you are able to print from the iPad to the wireless printer, I suspect you have to something. I think that the question has something to do with the communication between the printer and the computer and not between the printer and the router. Please use the following document to solve the problem; "Printer is off-line" Message appears on the computer and the printer does not print: Mac OS X.

  If the problem persists, do not give up hope, let me know and we will work through it together.

  • Uninstall the software.
  • Start the computer in minimum mode.
  • Disable all Antivirus programs.
  • Disable all firewall programs.
  • Create a new user account.
  • Connect to the new user account.
  • To help reinstall the full feature software and drivers.

  I just got this printer (HP Envy 7640) of my company. I work from home, I need to be connected to a VPN.

  When I connect to this VPN, my printer (wireless) does not work.

  As soon as I stop my VPN connection, all of my prints are made.

  How to solve this problem?

  My COMPUTER support explained to me that the only why do the job is to stop the wireless connection and use a USB connection.

  Do you have another solution?

  Also, how to change USB connection wireless connection? I found the solution on the other hand, but not like I need.

  You can print to the printer from a computer connected to the same local network as the printer, by connecting to a USB port, you can print from the same local computer on the pritner, you will not be able to print from the remote desktop, the PC and the printer must be connected to the same LAN to print.

  You should be able to use the wireless on the other laptop, as long as this laptop is connected to the local network and the printer is connected too you can print on it, by connecting the USB cable, we did not unplug the pritner from the local network and therefore printing wirelessly from other computers on this network is available with no difference.

• HP Envy 4502: Wireless printing/scanning issues

  I brought a new printer two weeks ago, it is a HP Envy 4502. It works very well and I have no real problem. I set up and connected to my wireless router to be able to print and scan wireless.

  There is a slight problem, when I turned on my printer it connects but when I try to print or scan, that he says that he can not connected, but on my printer there is a blue light to show that it is connected to the network. When this happens, I keep looking for networks again, re - connect to our, and then type the password and then when I go to scan or print it works fine. But I have to keep doing this. I put it up to our router and it connects very well... but it won't scan or print... I have to re - enter our password to get the printer to print or scan.

  With the additional information that you have provided I'm sure I know what the problem is.

  Your printer is not like your computer, in the sense that it will not re - connect to your network automatically once it has lost connection. The printer technology isn't quite as sophisticated. The printer will be held right on the wireless settings that you entered and assume that it is still connected. If you disable the router off, the printer is always kept on the parameters he used before. He will not ask a new IP address once the router is switched on again.

  I hope that all makes sense.

  The good news is, you can solve the problem by simply turning off your printer front to turn off the router, and give then the router all the time needed for a start back up when you turn it on, before you turn on the printer.

• HP Envy 5530 wireless printing

  I recently bought the HP Envy 5530 for wireless printing after a terrible experience with an Epson wireless printer. Set up the printer on my desktop running Windows 7. The printer is connected to the desktop computer with a direct line-in (not of wifi capable office) and the printer is connected to my wireless network by connecting it to the router (Apple Airport Extreme). The printer connects, it appears so when I check the router (via Apple Airport Utility on my Macbook Pro) as well as tests of what the printer does it for wireless connectivity.

  Despite be connected to the wireless network, the printer does not register anything. I can't print from my iPhone or my Macbook Pro. The printer will work with the line-in directly on the desktop. I was wondering if what he touched, I deleted the line hoping wifi printing would be available. Not the case. The iPhone and Macbook both "send" the document to print, but nothing ever happens. All of the tools provided by HP diagnostic show that everything works fine. The router is about 10 feet to the printer and the printer indicates a high signal strength.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see that you're running into some problems when trying to print on your HP Envy 5530 from your iPhone or your MacBook, it shows as connected but do not print. You have not the 5530 connected with a USB to your computer Windows and you have no problems.

  You should not have problems with both wireless and USB connection. There seems to be some sort of communication wireless with Mac problem, so let's go and start troubleshooting it:

  First I want to make sure that the printer is properly connected to the router Airport:

  Follow the steps and I would like to know if you are now able to print to your HP Envy 5530, I'll watch for your reply.

  I bought a wireless HP 2541 printer and I am trying to set up my Mac IOS 10.8.5 so that I can also airprint from my iPad.  But my computer does not find the printer wireless.  I tried to solve online but I just can't understand it and am so frustrated gettting.   Thank you very much for answering. I finished by reloading the software and was able to set up for the wireless. But I do know it does not give me this function the first time, but I could be wrong. But everything works perfectly now and I am able to print without effort on my Mac, iPad and iPhone

  I had my HP Pavilion 23 all in an office for over a year now and my HPOfficeJet Pro 8500 printer for a few years. Just recently my office has dropped it's Wi - Fi ONLY when I turn on my printer.   As a general rule, your router has a password and your network is password. The router password is only to change the setting with the router. The network password to access the network.

  WPA is a type of encryption for the network. Need us the network password. Please use the following to help you to find and verify your password. I can't find the WEP or WPA key or the password for my wireless network.

  After that I ran Norton Antivirus update on my PC my impression of envy will print nothing. All connectivity

  seems to be OK, but nothing prints from my laptop. It seems that something has done PC ability to "see" the printer. Any help would be appreciated.

  The printer now has connectivity with the PC and it prints correctly. Somehow, the Windows Firewall is enabled after running Norton. I've disabled Windows Firewall and restarted the PC. Upon reboot, the connection has been restored and the printer back online. Don't know how or why active Norton firewall of Windows, but happy the printer works again.

  Try to reset the printer back to the default settings and try again.  Print network config sheet and check to see if it says failure of wireless radio.  If so, take it back for a new.

  Is there a firmware update for the HP Envy 4500 for Mac OS X 10.6.8 users?  Expansion has worked well until recently. I solved the problem extends last week by turning the printer off, unplug from the wall, wait a few minutes, reconnect, turn on, and then you use tools to reset the printer to its default settings.  That did not work today.  I downloaded again the driver of HP and re-installed, but I can not enlarge copies.  I sw this message stream, but cannot find how to download an update of the firmware, since I'm on a Mac computer.   I noticed that you have problems with the resizing of the copies with your HP Envy 4500 printer. I'm happy to help with this problem!

  To download the latest firmware, please consult this guide, get printer updates for HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540, 4640, HP 4500 ENVY and HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer series.

  I would also be sure that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

  Let's start with these two steps and see what happens!

  I don't know exactly what is your configuration, but it seems that we need to ensure that your printer is set up on your wireless network.

  First you must connect to the wireless network, then download and install the printer software. Instructions are on this page: printer Wireless Installation. If you have already done these steps, go to the next paragraph.

  Then, install the printer on a network with Apple AirPort.  Instructions are here: setting up your HP printer on a network with Apple AirPort. The steps in this document assume that you have already configured your base station AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station on your network. If you have not set up your base station AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station on your wireless network, visit the Apple support page.

  I wouldn't have to worry about firmware download now. Start with the steps above. For your information, you must select "Officejet and Printsmart,' which are like your printer ink jet printers.

  There is no place without borders to check in the settings.

  On my pictures, all I want is without borders.

  I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled. Has nothing. I've updated the driver. Has nothing.
