HP Envy 13 1050eg: drivers HP Display problem

Hello world

I recently updated my Windows Windows 7 to 8.1, and since the update display drivers do not work, the drivers of product went from Micrsoft basic display driver, as pictured. I've updated all the recommended updates there is no updae for display drivers, it was a low now and I have installed the drivers manually from the ATI Web site, thus, they do not work as well.

I can't play videos and games, and the screen flashes a little so

Can anyone help with this please?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but you should not have updated your PC at Win8x because HP does not provide the Win8x drivers for your laptop.

Since it came with Win 7 preinstalled, HP provides drivers for newer operating systems, for her.  If you want all the features of the machine, you must consider restore on his original version of OS preinstalled.

Here are a few alternatives to pilot, you can continue...

You can try to use Windows updates to find the drivers from Microsoft deposits for your device: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139

If Windows Update doesn't give new drivers, you can pursue alternative which are described in the linked Microsoft Windows Insider community thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-to-install-and-upd...

If you then run into trouble, install the drivers through Windows Update, you can try to use of Microsoft Windows Update Troubleshooter: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/open-the-windows-update-troubleshooter

Good luck

  • The satellite M60 display problems

    Hello

I bought a satellite M60 a month ago, and since then, I've been strugling trying to solve a problem that has to do with the display (ATI 700 X mobility).
When I play some games (the dawn of war, Unreal tournament...) the computer freezes completely, I actually have to force stop it to restart.
Another problem, that I have seen is with Mixmeister Pro 6, the video playback is erratic, it is as if the computer is unable to handle any overload.

I tried the upgrade of drivers, nothing works, then I installed the third party Omega drivers, but once again, nothing to do.

Since the purchase of the M60, I had to correct problems of Wirless and PCMCIA card through driver updates, but there is nothing that I'm be able to do to resolve this display problem.

I am quite convinced it's a driver issue, but then again, nothing is certain.

If anyone can help me please I'm getting desperate.

    Hello

Well, it's not easy to say why it happens but one of my friends has sometimes even appearance but on another unit. If he plays a high-performance games unity cling.
In my view, this could be a heating problem. Playing games is hard work for the laptop, because all parts (bars of memory, processor, graphics card, etc.) work with max performance and produce a lot of heat. Most laptops are not developed for this.

However, you should always use the graphics driver from Toshiba. I found the latest version of 15/07/05. It is a display 8.121.050.322A driver. In addition, you must install latest DirectX. I think that it s a 9.1. Check whether the fixes for these games are available.

Second, if video playback is erratic, it seems that the OS is fully committed.
In this case, you should check the processes that run in the background of the operating system.
In addition, try to defragment the HARD disk

I have a display problems with After Effects, when I use the Primatte pluginand select a range of colors, it displays a random colors in images rather than hide the colors chosen, then I used keylight to test and be sure that it is a problem , she hides the selected range, but in it's pixelated and it is not displayed as I see it with other versions of After Effects , I had doubt if there is a problem with my graphics card, I reinstall with version classic of its driver and test (problem) can I update all drivers graphics Intel and Amd Atiand the problem persists always, which is medium (I see) is a bug in After effects and no graphics card (I test it with other programs like Fxhome Hitfilm and Sonyvegas and it works properly without display problems).

Everything seemed normal to me. Primate or Keylight will work on a white background. It will not happen. When you click on the background green, other than to make some adjustments to the key, everything seemed normal. Here's my key using primates and your image. Depending on where I click, I get all sorts of interesting color effects. Keylight, Primate, or any other key in AE is the wrong tool to hit the bottom in this image. Your results are exactly what I expected with the amount of tweaking that you do.

  • Retina MBP display problems

I vaguely remember that there is a kind of reminder for display problems on some models of MacBook Pro retina. I don't remember the nature of the issue, nor the accurate models who were eligible. I have a 15-inch model, end of 2013, and what I see is pictured below (dead pixels). Can anyone remember if there was a recall and that this issue would be covered?

    2011-2013 models.

To my knowledge the retinas did not have a reminder. However, I got my rMBP 2012 15 "screen changed due to ghosting. I do not know if Apple which is still.

    Howdy Yaser of zoysia,

It seems that your screen displays some graphical anomalies when you connect to your user name. I would use these troubleshooting steps in the following article on the resolution of screens:

Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

From: get help with graphics issues on external displays connected to your Mac.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  • Display problem on my A60 Pro Sat

The display on my satellite A60 pro features a strip of wide pixelated of 6-7cm at the bottom that hides my mouse cursor and the taskbar. The mouse is still active behind it. Mode full screen using an external monitor is seen. The group changes with my office window or active but is just vertical color bands. What is the problem and can get rid of him.

    Hello, Robert

Have you changed anything on your device or this occurs suddenly display problem?

I'm really in idea. If you want you can reinstall the unit with recovery DVDs. If the problem persists it is obviously a malfunction of the display. In this case, you must contact partner in your country.

If there is some serious hardware issue please let us know.

Have you of the 'show Talking Points' enabled in the view menu? Then you can see small white boxes superimposed on the image in the Viewer.

You can enable or disable on / off power with ⌥F talking points.

  • Tecra S1 display problem

Unfortnately my tecra s1 hit the table of coffee on the ground, the screen immediately turned white. When I rebooted there was no display at all (black only)
The computer works as I plugged on a screen external and that was very good. I tried to follow various troubleshooting guides online showing how to disassemble the laptop and reinstall the connector of the display on the motherboard, but this did not remedy the problem.

I noticed coming from the display was a big bunch of wires going into a connector that I reinstalled, on the right hand side of the screen is a white and black wire to a connector and a pink wire that seemed to just float, I couldn't not whence he came. Does anyone have ideas on the subject of this thread or other tips that can help me.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Unfortunately, mate, you won't find any manual disassembly here on the pages of Toshiba. These manuals are not for use public and designed only for the FSA.
But I think you could google a bit and you should find a few details.

I think that it is a display problem that I doubt that some loose cables could cause this problem
In my view, the screen is broken and needs to be replaced
To do this, you should get in touch with your technician ASP.

    Good luck
