HP Envy 15-j119so: Envy 15-j119so stops immediately after starting

My 7 month specifications stops immediately after startup. Briefly, it shows the start screen with the message "to initiate the automatic repair" before to stop completely. The laptop is brand new and I have not experienced problems before today.

Would it be a virus or a motherboard problem? In any case, if you can help, let me know!

Sounds like a hard drive problem possible. Have you tested with the F2 System Diagnostics? Immediately after switching on at startup by pressing the ESC key. A menu opens where F2 is an option. Press F2.

You are still under warranty. HP support a call.

    My iPhoto stops immediately after the launch.  It seems that if I can still import the photos but the app I cannot view or navigate the library, because it stops and gives me an error message.

    I spoke to my local camera shop, they said, that it should be referred to the Tamron for the update of the firmware, they said, that Tamron has a fairly good hand around time of approximately 5 days. I've probably will send mine once I'm done with a shoot.

    The lens works very well for me, normally, the only problem for me is Live View. If this is not the case, use the LIve View, it seems to work great so it's not paralyze me right now, but it would be nice to just get it fixed if Live View will work.

    The camera is also on Firmware V1.01 so their will be updates firmware for it also and as a previous post said that Canon will also address the issues with 3rd party lenses. Great! After that all the Canon doesn't want people who have glasses of third parties avoiding the body of the camera for this problem. It's logical Canon would solve this problem.

    So far it is a minor bump with third party lenses. I've always been able to work with my Tamron and Sigma lenses. Just a couple of workarounds until the firmware is updated. It isn't a deal breaker for me. This camera is a pleasure to shoot with and I am very pleased with the Canon has advanced in the development, image quality with the dynamic range and low light performance. I am happy and have no regrets.

    I would still recommend this camera to a friend.

    I just installed Adobe Reader (on a Windows 7 computer), but I tried to open it it starts and stops immediately. I have another PDF generator that came with the computer (Stat Nova PDF) which could interfere with Adobe reader.

    Works with Adobe reader installed or PDF software.

    Is there a setting to make Adobe default PDF reader?

    I can't risk to uninstall the software original PDF (Stat Nova PDF), it must be for a rush job and can't risk have no functional PDF reader at all.

    First thing to try: go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader and Eula.exe execution, and then click I accept.

    I got my Satellite m30x on repairstation because the charger was broken.
    Today I get back.

    But when I boot Windows XP home, after a short time, 10s, it turns off. Non-stop, just next door.
    I used to make State delivered, but same problem recovery cd.
    This Helene I run it in safe mode and it works very well, but is not normal.

    Seems to be a hardware problem. I don't think it's a driver problem, because it happened even with recovered resh system. So I think that some hardware is broken.

    Someone know this problem, or could tell me, what to do? I try to start with throw newspaper and view the log file, maybe this will help you.
    If nothing helps, I will bring this back to maintenancer Monday :(

    If the laptop works fine in safe mode and not in normal mode, so it could be a software malfunction.
    In safe mode, the operating system uses the standard drivers and don t charge all services.
    But as you suggested the laptop has been repaired. I think that your warranty is valid and the best way is to contact the technicians again.

  • Download stops immediately after 2.5-2.6 MB

    When I use my WRT54G v5 router I can't download anything than it is on the internet about 2.6 MB.

    After 2,6 Mb were downloaded, download speed immediately drops to 0 Kb/s and it acts like it downloads again, but never finnishes.  This applies to updates or files of more than 2.6 Mb.

    This isn't a matter of download speed, the speed is very good about 0.73 MB/s.  Simply, it stops but allows me to start other downloads or consult the web pages while downloading remains at 0 KB/s.

    Sometimes I can 'trick' to operate by constantly start and stop so restart the download several times, but usually it does not.

    This is not a problem of the internet, as it works fine when connected directly via Eathernet rope.

    For me, it was suggested that it might be a firewall of the router.

    On a side note:

    I wish that routers have been just a simple connection to the internet, not a guardian of the gate to my stream.

    I can't find someone with the same problem.

    Connect your PC directly to the modem and am trying to download files. If the download/download speed of the modem looks good, then it is possible that the router is one that is causing the congestion. If this is the case, the manual router MTU value and reduce its value to 1400. I hope this helps!

  • L540 Windows 10. Plugged in, not charging, then the pc stops. Cannot start.

    Brand new L540.
    Windows 10 fresh install, not improved versions of other windows.

    The Lenovo system update is installed and installed all the drivers (Intel Wireless Lan driver).

    When the charger is plugged in, the screen blinks several times, it says plugged in, no charging current. Then the laptop stops. When you try to start windows again, the laptop stops immediately after the windows 10.

    Unplug the charger and the laptop starts and works very well.
    The battery can recharge very well when the laptop is turned off.
    If the battery is 100% laptop works very well with the charger connected.

    Basically, the laptop works fine, except when you try to charge the battery then in windows 10. This causes a stop.

    I tried the solutions previously suggested to stop and remove the battery, nothing works.

    Motherboard replaced by service of Lenovo.
