HP Envy 15 t-j100: processor speed decreases when you play?

Hi, I use a laptop HP Envy 15 t-j100, and I noticed that whenever I play games, my CPU speed drastically decreases of 3.3 gHz to 1.8 gHz. Can someone explain to me if this is normal or if there is any way to solve this problem? My cell phone is always set to maximum performance, and it is plugged. Thank you very much

    Thank you for your support

    Hello:

    See if it works...

Since the graphic driver works, let's not trifle with the actual graphic driver.

We need to install the Intel HD audio driver, which is why the audio does not work on the HDMI port and it is the HD audio device problem you see list.

First download and install this free utility file, as the file 2nd on page is 64-bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7 - Zip, download and save but do not run the Intel graphics driver from the support page of your laptop.

This package provides the driver that allows graphics Intel high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

    File name: sp72370.exe

Once you have saved the graphic driver file, right-click on it and select 7 - Zip from the list of items.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and let it extract the driver in its file name (sp72370).

After that 7-Zip does its thing, go to Device Manager and click on the audio device problem HD in your screenshot.

Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC, and you should get audio and video HDMI port.

If the fix works, I recommend that you 'hide' it so that it not be reinstalled automatically.

    Instructions below:

If you don't want Windows to install an update, you need to hide.

    1. Open Windows Update by clicking on the button start . In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.

    2. In the left pane, click Find updates.

    3. When Windows finds updates for your computer, do one of the following:

      • Click the link that tells you important updates are available if you have some updates to hide.

      • Click the link that tells you optional updates are available if you have optional updates to hide.

    4. Do right click the update you want to install, and then click Hide update. The next time you check the updates, the update will not be automatically selected or installed. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • Envy 15 t-J100: generates no video, Caps Lock flashes twice

Good afternoon! I connect to a Wi - Fi using the router QSS button which is used to allow access without entering the network password, but when I pressed the button that my laptop has a blue screen (this error screen windows 8.1 with a sad guy), he held the button for a few seconds until stop you it , it had already happened other times I tried to connect using the QSS routers function, but this time round it has no video, the Caps Lock LED will blink twice at an interval of 5 seconds, then blinks twice and so on several occasions.
I did some research and saw two flashes mean problem with BIOS.
I bought the laptop to do Paraguay 11 months, the store gave me the one year warranty, but as I live in the Brazil I would really solve without making the warranty.
I'm so computer technician if you have a procedure that can be like to explain to me if I can solve

The model of laptop is an Envy 15 t-J100, processor Intel core i7, 8 GB of memory, 1 t + HD 24 GB SSD. It was never opened and never been formatted, all partitions that comes standard, the only thing I did was to reduce the system partitions to create another partition to store data.
    Some already appreciate your help...

    Good afternoon!
I checked the warranty book and it was over.
Then, I managed to solve the problem as follows... I opened the computer laptop, unplugged the HD, the network card and the SSD, cleaned the contacts of memories using an eraser, clean contact and unsightly brush, I called him just for ram connected (not HD, SSD card and network) and the laptop has video obviously did not start because he was without the HD, then hung up and went to connect devices in the following order and first test the SSD then the network card and the HD. And ready! The laptop started normally.
I realized shortly after starting it was installing updates from Windows update. My theory for this is that at the time when I pressed the button the laptop QSS was to install a major update of Windows and restart unexpectedly at the Blue error screen.
Thank God could solve, thank you for your help!

  • HP Envy 15 t-j100: HP Envy 15 t-j100 card system

    Hi all!

Recently, I brought my laptop looked at / repaired. The local technician told me that my laptop computer motherboard is dead because of the updates of Windows 10 does not well with my old operating system to Windows 7 (originally, my laptop has Windows 7 Home, last July I have upgraded to Windows 10). I started looking for a new replacement system card, however I have a few questions. I watched the maintenance manual for my laptop and can not know what card replacement system is adequate or what they all say. The serial number of my current motherboard in my laptop is 720566-001. I googled this number system and keep find results with 720566-501 and 720566-001 in the title for the same motherboard. Most of the advice I find on eBay also have a number like 720566-501. My question is this: will I be able to use a map of system 720566-501 to replace my current 720566-001 motherboard?

    Additional details:

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=720566-501

for your machine, its number is 720566-001. 720566-001 and 720566-501 can be VERY similar but not identical.

  • HP Envy 17 t-j100 Quad Edition: product number mismatch

    Hello!

I'm about to upgrade to Windows 10 and have questions about my laptop.  By my initial order, the number of the product I ordered was E4S82AV, but the HP Support Assistant and the battery compartment that it is E1P14AV. When I touch E4S82AV in the issue of the product on the site Web of HP, no software or drivers are found. I have a matte screen, no touchscreen model.

Can someone tell me the difference between these two products numbers and why the one I ordered does not appear to exist on the support Web site? It's not touchscreen touch vs?

I fear that if I need software or driver updates, those under E1P14AV are really suitable for my system.

For example, I had a problem with an update by HP Support Assistant on my CyberLink PowerDVD software failure (it finally updated OK).  He had several Softpaq SP70823 and this file already exists in my folder in C:\SWSetup.  I checked the support Web site, thinking I would try to download the software from there, but I don't see that listed as an option under E1P14AV sp70823.

    Thank you!

Your Envy 17 t-j100 Quad Edition is a CTO (configure to order) machine that starts with a number of basic product which replaces a specific number of product once that order you with the card you want. Not sure about the DOWNLOAD - but not the first time neither model which has software missing from the support page.

  • Pavilion 15-n248sa: what processor speed is shown on the information sheet?

I was recently going through all my stuff, work on which should be placed in a cell, when I found all the information about my computer sheets. On one of these journals, it says that I have an Intel Pentium Quad - Core 2.4 GHz processor N3520, but when I go into the control panel system page, it says I have an Intel Pentium Quad - COre N3520 2.16 GHz processor (it says 2.00 GHz when I was on windows 8.1, the preinstalled operating system, but has increased during the update). The processor name and model number are identical on the sheet and the Control Panel, but the speeds are different from almost 400 MHz, the origianal operating system and almost 250 MHz off now. I was wondering if it was because on the sheet, they wrote the overclock speed, or if HP has another way of mesuring the speed of the processor as the OS does.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have attached the image of the sheet that I found, (badly) photoshopped of private information.

Please see Intel® Pentium® Processor N3520 (2 M Cache, up to 2.42 GHz) to get answers to your question. Basis of the processor speed is 2.16 GHz, burst speed is 2.40 GHz, and according to the power state of the computer speed can be reduced to slot an of these.
