  I have a lexar player sure to jump that I used with an old computer that has Windows XP.  I now have a new computer with Windows Vista and I can't access the secure part of the USB key.  When I try to access the part secure the USB key I have the following message "Application [-10004] could not find any JumpDrive Secure device connected to your system. Please make sure that your JumpDrive Secure device is inserted into a USB port".

  Of course, the USB key is inserted into the USB port.  If anyone can help find me a way to access the part secure the USB key I would appreciate it.  Thank you.

  The error that you received can be for several reasons. I suggest you try the following steps:

  Method 1: Run the fixit available in the link below and check if that makes a difference

  Tips for solving problems of USB devices

  Method 2: This normal matter as a result of a conflict between the USB and other USB (Universal Serial Bus) connected to the computer.

  (a) disconnect all the external devices connected to the computer to expect the mouse and keyboard, check if your USB key works.

  (b) If this solves the problem, and then add back both devices until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.

  If the problem persists, you can contact the manufacturer of the device for any known issues

  I understand that you have a few problems with ePrint using your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.

  I recommend that you first check your printer to verify its intact ePrint connection:

  • Touch the icon (webservices)
  • If you see an address @hpeprint.com, I recommend that you try to send a test ePrint from a different email domain than what you use on your work computer.  If it prints correctly, we can rule out your printer as being a factor in this particular issue.  If your printer's Web services is enabled is more, re - enable.  Any problem would occur with this, click here to access another relevant post I created.  Scroll to my suggestion re: setting a manual DNS as this tends to help by allowing the webservices where fail the normal steps.

  If you were able to send your printer work ePrint of any e-mail domain other than the one you use at work, read on.  Click here to see an HP ePrint article that focuses on the various factors that can contribute jobs ePrint not printing not.  Note that some areas of corporate email may become incompatible with ePrint due to the presence of a digital signature in the outgoing message template.  EPrint jobs you send work meet these criteria?

  The latest driver I could find was 1.8.1.

  Error message:

  I would use this hardware with Final Cut ProX 10.2.2 and Garageband 10.1.0.1

  A quick search seems to indicate the latest version of the driver to be 1.2.1 - there was no 1.8.1 I could find. It has been out for more than a year, so no mention of El Capitan, but it could work. I'll make sure that you have the right to download and try again.

• HP Envy 15 j112tx: HP Envy 15 j112tx USB 3 question

  Hi all, I have a craving for 15 which has 4 USB ports and 3 are marked "SS" (USB 3). problem I have is whenever I plug in my external hard drive USB3 in a Port "SS", I get a message saying "this device can perform faster..." (blah blah balh).

  

  I downloaded and installed the USB 3 of HP and Intel drivers, uninstalled the "Devices" and let windows handle it but all without success.

  This is what it looks like after that I uninstalled those that are DO NOT USB3 and reboot to let windows update drivers

  

  is anyone able to suggest a solution?

  Thanks for the quick response!

  This problem occurs when you connect the USB device to a USB 3.0 ports?  Try to uninstall the USB 3.0 drivers only, and then connect your device to a USB 3.0 port.  If Windows does not automatically download the compatible drivers, then try to download the driver USB 3.0 from the link provided in the previous post.  Let me know how it goes.

  The first few times we call I refused to listen to because it sounded wrong, but this time I heard him out and that's what they said. First, he was of the India, I think his accent and he said he was calling to inform me about a security problem with my PC, it is said to "Best Windows Help" and that my network was showing at its end with a red light indicating a problem. At this point, that he asked me to give him full access to my PC in which I said, "you're crazy, no way" and he said OK then your PC will freeze and crash and I said a few words very friendly back and hung up. They seem to call every month or two and it looks like the same guy. Is it a Con? Who is this company "best Windows Help and how are they finding me? They say the information they hold comes from Microsoft. My caller ID lists like V052409070106, phone # (202) 011 - 3341. What is everything. Also, my PC is not crash or freeze because I installed it 2 years ago. I am running Win 7 Pro with Microsoft Security Essentials and windows Firewall behind a Cisco router.

  Connect does not collect IP addresses. Records can follow who saw them if viewers are journaled in Connect.

  I'm under VMWare Player 6.0.3 + tools under Win7/32, generally without problems. However, I just found out what seems to be a major security problem; It may have been there for years, I never checked. On a CentOS Linux VM and a Windows XP VM, I put folders always active; two folders are shared, C:\Users\ < name > \Desktop\VMWare (a subdirectory on the desktop) and R:\ (a RAM drive). "Card as a drive in Windows network, you can" is checked in the virtual Windows machine. There is no option for a folder always be not shared, the other only until the next poweroff (re point 2 below). I did some tests and was able to easily drag and drop files from the two virtual machines (running at once) to the host WITHOUT RESTRICTION FOR THE SHARED FOLDERS; I copied the files of the computer desktop virtual on the desktop of the host (not the directory said 'VMWare'), the office of the host on the desktop of the virtual computer and directory host random (C:\TMP) on the virtual machine, and then again to the desktop of the host.

  That concerns me; I sometimes deliberately tried to expose virtual machines to viruses, in the hope that there is a Chinese wall between the host and the VM, except for shared directories.

  Looks like you're confused shared with drag-and-drop folders.  With shared folders, the host files are mapped in the comments (possibly as a Windows network drive).  Navigate in the comments under \\vmware-host.  Drag-and-drop is a completely independent feature.  There is no restriction on access to the drag-and-drop.  To disable drag-and - drop in VMware Player, power off the virtual computer and add the following to your virtual machine configuration file:

  As a professional, there is an option for document level scripts. With the standard, you must use the JavaScript console to add the script.

  Did you look at example 2 for disclosed? It can be run from the JS console.

  but do not solve the problem and suggest uninstall and start again.

  I also installed the latest driver download, rather than the installation disc.

  I also tried the Fixit Windows for the USB, nothing helps.

  My problem is, no matter how to install software/drivers to support this

  device, I can't print via USB.

  Once installed, I print a test page for 'printer properties', I can see the coil of the page

  in the active jobs window, then disappear and... nothing.

  There seems to be a link broken between the printer and USB001 which is the virtual USB port

  Everyone knows and if so, please share how you solved.

  After doing a bit more research, it is certainly a problem of Windows security permissions.

  I have a workaround by following this link and can now print. :-), but do not know the security implications.

  Not sure that the installer sets incorrect permissions during installation,

  Certainly, I ran the installer as an administrator and still had the problem.

  Maybe you could advise on the required parameters?

• HP ENVY 17-j184na Notebook PC: problems of wireless connection on the new laptop

  I bought a new laptop a few days ago and tried to connect to the network without wire in our apartment for 2 days but nothing helped.

  So far, I did the following steps:

  -Restore the system to factory settings.

  -Powercycled the network.

  -Reset the TCP / IP / catalog Winsock.

  -Checked and changed the stop option.

  -Re-installed and updated all the drivers of network.

  -Started in SafeMode w / networking and still unable to connect.

  -Ran all 3 windows solve problems and the problem of internet connection of HP.

  -Updated the BIOS with the latest version of the driver.

  I created my own personal hotspot using my phone and managed to connect very well, so I think that maybe that's a problem with my laptop to connect to my router, but everything else connects very well.

  I have an ethernet cable connected and has associated with perfectly too.

  My laptop is a HP ENVY 17-j184na Notebook PC and my wifi specifications are

  Problem has been resolved.

  Just in case someone else has the same problem, if you try to connect to a router and it communicates but don't connect does not then it might be a problem with the frequency to which you are trying to connect.

  In this case, my laptop could connect only to a 5 GHz frequency but my router was capable of a frequency of 2.4 ghz, so he was able to connect to all the rest but not that. (Particularly if you use a hub SKY).

  The problem has now been resolved by buying a wireless adapter card that plugs into the USB port. If you don't need to buy a Please make sure that buy you one with dual band capabilities.
