• My toshiba laptop will not connect to my HP Envy 4500 printer

  Recently, I tried to connect my Toshiba laptop running Windows 8, wireless on my HP Envy 4500 printer. I am trying to scan something on my laptop, I did with the printer before. I have the remote app, and I have connected to the network the printer wireless displays in the wifi of my computer. However, when you try to get the printer to scan, using the option on the printer screen, it says that no device is connected, and to ensure that the software has been installed and this scan to pc has been activated. I opened the application on my laptop, in hopes of getting better results using what it was, but he told me that the printer is offline, if it was obviously on. I'm not entirely sure why the printer doesn't recognize my laptop, even if my laptop recognizes.   I understand that you can't scan with your Envy HP 4500 to your laptop Windows 8, and I'm happy to help you with this problem of connection!

  To get help, I'll need to know the following information:

  • If the printer is capable of making copies of itself.
  • If the power cable plugged into a surge protector, or directly on a wall plug. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

  In the meantime, please try go through this guide. A computer"not found" or a Message appears "connection error" during the scanningand let me know what happens!

• 4500 envy: Envy 4500 printer not

  So my Envy 4500 printer worked very well on the network for more than a year, but last week we had our wifi router change and since it does not print. Well, it prints, but you must put the printer off, then put it back and it will print only the first document in the queue (it will not print, you must do the same thing) I tried to make my pc and it says that "a document in the queue block printing" or something like that and it removes the document but if you try to reprint it does the same thing thing. It's really annoying to toggle the printer for each document... Thank you

• HP Envy 4500: Printer says it has solid network connection, but cannot connect to the internet

  So I have not been able to use my printer wireless lately, so I decided to check if it was connected to my wireless network. It is; I checked, re-connected and checked several times. So I decided to reactivate my web services. I have them turned off, and now whenever I press the button on the printer ePrint, it says connection for a really long time and then displays the message in the sense of "the printer cannot connect to the server. Check the internet connection and proxy settings.

  I have re-connected the printer to my wireless network, I checked that if I use a proxy server (I'm not), I used the HP print and Scan Doctor - just, it won't just matter what I do.

  All I can think about is the fact that I have recently purchsed a new router, but says that its connected which is what really stem me.

  This printer makes me crazy - please help

  I want to help you with the connection error, you get on your e-all-in-one of HP ENVY 4500 printer when you try to enable web services.

  Here are some steps, I suggest trying to get your web services up and running it again:

  Network Power Reset:

  We'll leave the router and unplug the power cable (NOTE: do not reset the router.), and then do the same with the printer and shut down the computer. After a minute, plug in the router, wait to fully turn on, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light become solid. Once the router and the printer are on, go ahead and re - turn on the computer. This will refresh the network connection.

  Restore the default settings of the network and reconnect:

  1. on the front panel of the printer, press your up wireless icon

  2. Select settings.

  3. Select restore default network settings.

  4 turn on your printer.

  5. once it is initialized to save, press the wireless icon again.

  6. Select settings.

  7. Select Wireless Assistant , and then follow the prompts to enter the details of your wireless network.

  8. try to activate the web services again.

  Configure a manual DNS for your printer:

  1 obtain the IP address of your printer

  a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

  2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser on your computer.

  3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

  4. on the left, select network.

  5. Select network address (IP)

  6. Select manual DNS server

  a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

  b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

  7. Select apply. You can get a warning simply select OK.

  I use a Microsoft XP and HP Envy 4500 printer:

  I'm trying since this morning to print a PDF with no. margin in adobe reader. When I select 'Print' (inside Adobe Reader) in the printer option, I selected the printer HP Evny 4500, and inside its options, I chose printi without margins. (picture 1 of seee)

  

  But I also need to change the default margin software adobe reader in order to remove the margin, but I can not change, software adobe reader have to a margin default that I can't "delete" (see picture 2)

  

  P.D.: I use adobe reader version 11, where there is no button "borderless printing.

  Help me please...

  I see that you encounter some problems with the removal of the margins when printing a PDF file on your PC Windows XP of Adobe Reader your urge to 4500. I can help you with that.

  To give us an idea of what the issue may be what we will do is to create a document in Word Pad and see if we can remove the margins before printing. If you can print without margins to Win Pad, then it means that Adobe Reader is something to print on your computer settings. If this is the case then I uninstall all software from 4500 desire on your computer, uninstall Adobe Reader and then reinstall Adobe Reader software and our drivers. You can download our drivers by clicking on this link.

  If you are unable to change the margin settings in Adobe then then I would contact Adobe for support.

• HP Envy 4500: HP Envy 4500 printer problem

  I have a HP Envy 4500 printer which has worked very well for a while. Recently I converted to NBN with a new router and well that the laptop has had no problem with the printer connectitivity. The printer works fine for about 10 days, then do not print. When I use the doctor of printing & scanning HP he passes through the "fix" and finally confirmed that it will be printed internally, but must be uninstalled and installed again. I did it and it installs ok then, (I use the download to be installed on the HP site) and it prints ok again for a while.

  I use the wifi for the laptop and the printer, and even still have the printer close to the router, the printer will print after 10 days. The printer wifi appears connected correctly.

  Why it works for ten days and then do not print unless I uninstall the printer and reinstall?

  Have you tried to see if the IP address of the printer has changed whenyou can not print?

  You go to the front panel and press the 'Wireless', and it will display the IP address.

  Now go to the PC > start > all programs (or all apps to win 10) > HP > HP4500 > IP update

  Run small applications and compare if the IP address on your printer software is the same as on the printer.

  If this isn't the case, it is the reason why it can not print!

  I just bought a HP Envy 4500 printer,

  When you attempt to print from a PC with windows 7 OS home pro (64-bit), the print job appears in the queue and then disappears, but the printer does not print anything.

  Everything else seems to work very well know

  • The printer prints the internal test page
  • The printer does print when you use iPad2
  • The printer does print when you use ePrint
  • The PC recognizes and communicates with the printer (tried with USB connections and wireless)
  • Analysis feature works very well - when initiated from the PC and printer

  I tried

  • uninstalling and reinstalling the software (several times using software from different sources)
  • restart the printer queue service
  • Disabling the firewall
  • running printing HP and doctor Scan
  • following the instructions described here (the question is the same but the different operating system):

  Print jobs disappear from the print queue and print (Windows 8)

  • combinations of all of the above

  Absolutely no joy in any of them, and in spite of more than 2 hours of research on Google and forums search I can't find a solution.

  HP... can you give me a solution or is that goes back to the shop?

  Well I finally worked on the fix myself by trial and error.  I changed the security settings for 'All' and 'Creator owner' to 'Print' and "Administer Documents".  Why on earth they were not automatically allowed as part of the installation, I couldn't really say.

  Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.

• HP Envy 4500: Mac running El Capitan will not recognize the HP Envy 4500 printer more

  Last week I was able to print to my HP Envy 4500 to my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, both running El Capitan.  However, when I went to print today, no computer cannot find my printer.

  I tried everything I found on these forums of discussion... the network reset, feeding all turned off, turning off iPv6, etc. anything.

  I have a USB cord used to print today and when I went in the connected USB printer utility, I could select Configure the wireless, but again, make the message: not accessible device.  It notes the wireless network, the settings were downloaded successfully on my device, however, your Mac could not locate the device on the network.   My Mac is both connected to the same wireless network.

  What is the new name of the printer now listed as default printer in devices and printers? (Like 4500 or class envy 4500)

  If the class driver is installed, it would be a preinstalled Windows driver and it should not the automatic option to duplex. You will need to remove and add the urge to 4500.

  If you still experience problems, uninstall and reinstall the printer software again.

  • Uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows).
  • HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-One Printer series full feature software and drivers.

  The HPePrint driver is automatically installed with Windows 8. Just make sure that it is not selected as the default printer in the future.

  Bought the new Photo Premium Plus paper and I am so frusterated I try to print on this subject!

  I get all the rear bars, especially on the back or cut the wide 1/4 of the image.

  Thanks for getting back to me. After taking a quick glance in the Specifications of the printer under the tray capacity paper, the maximum weight is listed as up to 281gms (75 lb). The one you use is heavier (80 lb) that is why you see the question.

  Let update you the software and drivers to make them compatible with your operating system Windows 10. Please follow the steps listed below:

  Please, try disabling your firewall and perform a clean boot. Now, follow the steps below:

  1. disconnect the USB key if you use a direct connection.

  2. remove the software HP Envy 4500 to uninstall from the control panel of your computers an option of the program.

  3. restart the computer.

  4. make sure that all the software 4500 envy has disappeared from the list of programs, but also your HP folder listed under all programs in your Start Menu.

  5. now, go ahead and download the software and drivers for your desire to 4500 (DO NOT connect USB until the software prompts you to):

  You try to print a document or an element of a web page? What program or browser you use?

  If you are using a Windows operating system, please try the following:

  1. open an Internet Explorer browser, go to the far right click on the gear icon

  2. Select Print Preview

  3. now along the top, you will see an option to change the size of the page, please make sure that it is set to adjust or 100%.

  4. now, try a test page, the text is expanded?

  I had some problems printing with my desire to hp 4500. I recently bought this for use with my laptop, which runs windows 8.1. I tried to print wireless with mixed success. I can't print anything product of microsoft office, firefox, etc. I can't print a PDF file or the other - with a catch. If I print the document first with adobe printer, save the document, and then print with the printer of the desire, it will work (for a few pages at least). This happens even if the original document is a pdf file. When I try to print from word, for example, I get a message saying that "your file could not be printed due to an error on HP ENVY 4500 series (network) on. There are several possible reasons...  The scanner works fine with the software provided. Through software troubleshooting, I can print a test page for the hp software, but not the windows printing software (makes me think that this may be a sort of permissions problem that I can't understand). I went through the program of doctor hp, and he says that there is an update of the software. I try to update the software, and I get a message - the printer could not be installed on the network. I'm a bit confused. So - to answer the stupid questions typical-Yes, the printer and the laptop to have the power, Yes, wireless is enabled, Yes, my router works and my printer is connected to it (I can print eoffers/coupons directly from the printer), my diagnostic report is as follows wireless on-pass, wireless working-pass, signal quality-excellent. Connected-pass. unplug the total-7 count, count from last time-1, count last 24 hours - 1. neck of network name (ssid), other corresponding networks ssid-no, the printer settings comply with the router settings without thread-pass, no-pass, Channel-6 filtering, access badge. When I try to print any other documents wthout the adobe solution, I have that is getting the error message that I said previously, or the computer will go through the motions of printing but I never end up having all documents added to the queue.   Hello. Thanks again for your help. I found how to solve my problem. I know now that it had nothing to do with the printer or its software. Something was wrong with my registry or files of certain parameters that I couldn't identify myself, that I tried to plug the two this printer in my lapotop via a usb port and installation (with the same problem). The same problem happened when I connected usb printer older that I know works (hp 3050 has-for printing at least) and still had the problem. I just did a windows update and had to reinstall everything. Now, I can print and scan wireless without problem. I would like to have a more simple solution. Maybe the idea of my friend to install a registry cleaner from the beginning was a bad idea. You live and learn, I guess.
