HP Envy 4500 - Scan does not, most periodic freezing

I'm having a ton of problems with my HP Envy 4500. I will first start by scanning. First to get the "No found computer" message when you try to scan (I can print fine however). I tried HP Print & Scan doctor, he said I was not fully installed the driver. So I download the file ~ 100 MB, then it passes through basic facilities, then allows you to "Connect to printer", I'm wireless and enter the IP address (which is connected and Excellent report) and about 10 seconds later, he says: "cannot find the printer. My only options are the search, the installation program and cancel. Therefore, I can never get to install and he sends me in a loop. I also file & Printer sharing turned on with Windows 8.1, with the automatic configuration of network devices.

Since the end of the printer, I've tried manual and automatic IP and also directly connect without a bit of luck. In addition to these frustrations adds the printer freeze about every 10-15 minutes. I have to disconnect and reconnect the printer for it to work again because it is totally insensitive.

Finally, my printer indicates an update is available, so I download a driver, but it ends with the OXB82EF9BA error code. All crashes again.

I tried everything that I can for hours without success. Please notify.

I understand that you get some problems with your desire to 4500. I will do my best to help you! First of all, I need to know your operating system on the computer that is having these problems? Click here to read: Windows.

Because you are having problems with the HP software, I'll give you a few steps to help:

Please uninstall the software on your computer by following this document from HP about uninstalling the printer software. When it finished, I would like you to clean your Temp folder on your computer:

1. click on the start menu, in search programs and files type % temp %

2. press on Ctrl and together on your keyboard (this will highlight all)

3. right click on your mouse and click on remove

Now, perform a clean boot on your computer by following this Microsoft document here. This will eliminate the conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program.

Secondly, I would like to you can use the Printer Wizard to install the full features software. This is the right software and you need to use a USB cord to perform this step. It will be much easier to find your wireless network. (It's only for the Windows operating system 7-8: 1).

If you printer is still the gel, then make sure that the printer is connected to a live wall, not a surge protector. I want to see if that makes a difference. Also, try to reset the printer for more than 60 seconds. Leave the printer turned on > unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

You receive an error message "OX82EF9BA". This refers to an error in Windows Update. You must perform this update on your computer. Please post your results, I will be looking forward to hear from your part have a good night!

    Recently purchased, this replaces a PhotoSmart HP 2570, no problem with the software install, printer setup, network (ethernet connected), etc. Print and copy of work. Did not try the fax. Scan to file (pic to file) does not create a file on the disk that you use the HP Solution Center or on the button scan Panel before starting the scan.  "Preview scan" and "launch Windows Explorer in the save location after saving the files" are both checked.  I also used different 'save locations' and even created a new subfolder "temp1" from the root C: and set security to be "full control" for all of the listed users.  During a scan, all works well until and including the scan preview projected.  When "Finish" is selected, a progress dialog box is shown with a message to «Finish the scan of the computer...» "reasonable given the"Save location"by which the progress bar gets about 2/3 full and then disappears.  Windows Explorer does not start in the save location and there is no file created anywhere on the disk.

    Appreciate sincerely all serious and constructive comment.  If I don't get this resolved, I need to go back and return to the PhotoSmart...

    I found myself on the live support chat and through narrow down realized I had sent a defective empty ink cartridge with the printer. While they sent a replacement free of charge.

  • HP Envy 5530 e-all-in-one: copy/scanning does not work

    All the functions of the printer/scanner worked before Windows upgrade Windows 7 10.  After 'upgrade' to win 10, scanner and copier functions are kaput.

    SYMPTOMS:

    Printer funtion still works

    * Copy funtion indicates "" Now"copy" but never active scanner.  Pressing Cancel does not stop the process.

    * Manual SHUT DOWN does not work with constant "Shutting Down" message.

    * Scan to the computer and scanning to E-mail functions do not work

    * Try to run Windows scan "does not recognize the HP profile" and cannot scan using Windows 10

    ACTIONS:

    * Initially received 'C4EBA230' message on the printer screen blue with flashing icons, but a hard reset solved error

    * Have completely uninstalled & reinstalled software base three or four times of HP and HP update disc once software has detected and installed

    * Ran HP, utility for troubleshooting several times before and after reinstalls for problems of scan - driver detected every time problem.   Ignore the results of audit of pilot and proceed to the verification of scan did not work

    * Performed four resets hard to return to the firmware with parameters.

    * Tried scanning HP and Capture app (Nope - message "Device is busy" - same device is not)

    * Voltage checked the cable power and the wall outlet (OK)

    * Checked ink levels (more than one half full)

    * Searched updates firmware (not available on HP support site for want 5530)

    Seems to me that it might be mutiple problems/possible solutions:

    Machine firmware problem?  n ' any means to reinstall the current firmware via a download?

    Mechanical scanner problem? -scanner engine bad/blown bulb? -where is the nearest HP Service Center authorized Texas?

    New driver development necessary to scan to computer compatibility with Windows 10? -C' you all of the problem

  • HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one scan does not work. Start button / stop flashing when you press scan.

    Scan does not not on my HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-One.  The power button flashes when you press scan. Everything else works.  I tried to unplug it from the wall socket and reconnect it.  Not solve the problem. What else can I try?  Or, is it a piece of junk now and needs replacement?   My laptop (windows vista) did not go into repairs several months ago. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.

    Please, try the following solutions:

    1. Plug the power cable directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.
    2. The firmware was updated. Get the latest Firmware and updates of the printer.
    3. Reset the printing system. OS X Mavericks: reset the printing system.
    4. Verify and repair disk permissions. 12.x disk utility: repair disk permissions.
    5. Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
    6. Re-install the software. E-all-in-one HP Officejet 4630 printer full feature software and drivers - 10.6 of Mac OS X v10.7, v10.8 v10.9 Series.

    Also, please take a look through this guide wireless. The printer keeps Wi-Fi connection.

    I have a Macbook connected via WiFi to a Canon MG7520. The destination of auto scan does not work. I put it in a subfolder under photos. The box is there on this subfolder. (My older guns would use) But this scanner and the 7120 times insist on ignoring my selection and use of the pictures folder. (when I save, they won't have a record dated in photos, but I would rather not clutter it.)

    Nobody likes Macs.

    When you open the settings of the utility Scan IJ, there are 3 tabs at the top. The first tab is settings when the analysis is started from the computer, the second tab is for setting when the analysis is started from the control panel. Make sure that you change the destination folder to 'Save to PC (self)' on the second tab!

  • Printer re - install - Scan does not work

    I have re-installed a series HP Photosmart C3100 all in One printer/scanner on a new PC with Windows 7-64 bit. Downloaded the latest version of the software including a patch (CPE_SCAN_DESTINATION_UPDATE_hpcom_001_003) without apparent difficulty. Print and copy of work but the Scan does not work. Downloaded the diagnostic utility, HPSDU and executed. HPSDU crosses the first five steps and hangs up on HP Scanner Twain, Message says scanner does not respond, the device and the computer to restart. Have done this several times with the same result.

    This printer and scanner worked fine on old Vista PC. Any ideas?

    I did a complete uninstall of all the HP software and reinstalled. I don't have reinstall the patch. Scanner works now!

    HP Scan does not work with Photosmart 6510 wireless installation. I've deleted and reinstalled SW, SW, ran update doctor Scan and everything was reported OK. When I ran the scan test of the HP scan window comes but there is no value in the resolution box. When an analysis is attempted, I get ERROR SCAN only. I can scan successfully by other scanning programs.

    Paul sent me the log files, and from there, we followed the question until for the binary file HPScan.exe incorrect compatibility settings.   This file is located either in your "program files (x 86) \hp\\bin" directory (for 64-bit systems), or "program files\hp\\bin" directory for 32-bit systems.   In the case of Paul, his EXE was created to ensure compatibility for XP, which caused the application to try to use WIA 1.0 on a 2.0 WIA (Windows 7) system support.    This caused the app to not to interview the drivers for supported resolutions/etc and so the drop-down list is empty in the implementation of the resolutions.

    If other people see empty resolution lists in our application, it might be useful to double check that your EXE is not set to XP compatibility.

    It worked finally.

    Why doesn't HP have updated the drivers for a Macbook Pro 10.6.8 Snow Leopard?  I couldn't find one for 10.5 or 10.6 Leopard.  I tried everything I could find. I found a note on the edge of Disussion which suggested someone try a driver for another HP printer may be similar.  I found if I used the full program for Macbook Pro 10.6 Leopard I could scan.  The fax appeared to be installed via blue tooth.  I have not faxed anything, but it has been tested during the installation of the program.  Complete program of the HP I can't print.  I loaded via Apple an another whick of printer HP Officejet 8500 A910 allows me to print.  It is the only way that I could make use of my HP printer, scanner and fax.  Crazy, but I think it works and I can put some scans and, hopefully, fax to my Macbook Pro.  I appreciate the help.  Please encourage the HP programs and drivers for my Macbook Pro Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

    You can schedule a chkdsk only the administrator account. If you plan it no admin is a standard account, you must run the command prompt mode elevation and elevation itself to give the administrator previllege. So what you want to say about it. Are you talking about the built in Administrator account by any chance? If so, then the user account where you have planned is corrupted try to create a new and check.

    I have a hp 4500 g510g-m. It worked fine until about a month.

    When I want to scan a document, I open HP Solution Center select Scan > Scan document. Open it and then imaging software I press scan and nothing happens, it just goes back to the HP Solution Center. The software does not.

    I tried to use HP Scanner and Fax Troubleshooting Wizard, but it detects any problems. When I try to use the printer Scan option PC nothing happens.

    I also tried to uninstall and reinstall HP solutions Center and the problem is still there.

    The only solution I have found so far is to restart the laptop and turn the printer off. But do this every time I need to scan somethinf is not a solution to all the...

    Follow these steps to get the applications (if it is not already installed):

    1. Go to the Windows store
    2. Search for "HP AiO Remote" apps
    3. Install the apps.
    4. Apps should detect your wireless printer, depending on the applications, there is a function "Scan."
    5. Click the Scan and it will direct allows you to download apps "Scan and capture.
    6. After installation, you should be able to scan.
