HP Envy 5530 e-all-in-one: envy 5530 E cannot detect alignment page

I'll put up a new e-all-in-one printer HP Envy 5530. I went through the installation OK, until I got to the part about the alignment of the print cartridges.  It prints the alignment page, it will copy even, so I know the scanner works. I printed several pages and they all look great.  But when I use the ink cartridge alignment tool it does not detect the alignment page in the scanner.

Yes, it is face down on the scanner

Yes, the cartridges are installed OK

Yes, printing seems good

Yes, the scanner can scan and print pages, even the alignment page

What else to try?

Thank you

Well, too bad. I unplugged, moved the card to a regular wall outlet instead of a power strip, and it is turned on, ask to do a print alignment.

I did, it printed the page, I put the page on the scanner and it completed the alignment.

I don't know what the problem was earlier, but it worked this time.

When I choose to scan or copy, my L7680 starts the function chosen, but after scanning about 3 inches of the page, the scan turns off light and the rest of the document will appear as solid black. Any ideas on what is the problem and how it can be repaired?

    Thank you.

    Hi there SLM64,

    Welcome to the Forums

I noticed the problem you are having with your Officejet Pro L7680.

I understand that you notice the scanner bulb turn off and it's causing most of your explorations or copies of out of the black. It is a hardware problem that seems as the scanner begins to fail. I have a guide below for you that means two things to try, however, if the guide does not solve the problem, I would suggest calling technical support of HP. They have an option of recovery for you to buy a new unit.

A "Failure of the Scanner" Message appears on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy, or fax

My question is very simple. I tried all the options I could think for my printer detect the alignment page and it is still unable to detect the page. Can someone who has had the same problem please send me a list of recommended procedures to solve the problem? I intend to go through one by one until it is resolved. The post that I found with this exact topic didn't have a sufficient response that other that the user placed a bunch of papers on the page alignment and the printer worked... Could really use some help, my patience is pretty much exhausted. I use a MAC Leopard operating system. Thank you.

What are the levels of ink in each cartridge?  I connected a troubleshooting document that addresses the lack of alignment.  Click here  You could take a look and perform one of the steps that you did not.  Let me know how it goes.

    HP Officejet 6500 a Plus e-All-in-One - E710n

    Wireless connection

Until recently, I noticed that it takes a good 45-60 seconds to print. From the moment that I hit print say at the start of the printing printer. Real bummer, but today I tried to scan and got an error "Scanner communication cannot be established... "I've uninstalled all the drivers and the printer and reinstalled same thing any suggestions I have to be able to scan.

    Hey alsmith1964,

It seems that the network communication between the PC and the printer has become lost or locked up.  The first step, I would suggest in this case is to perform a cycle of power to all devices in the network circuit.

Follow these steps to reset your printer HP, your router and your computer.

    1. To turn it off, press the power button on the HP printer.
    2. Unplug the power cord at the back of the HP printer.
    3. Unplug the power cord from the wireless router.
    4. Turn off the computer.
    5. Wait 30 seconds.
    6. Reconnect the power cable to the wireless router.
    7. Wait 30 seconds, or until the router is completely ready.
    8. Turn the computer on.
    9. Wait for the computer to recharge.
    10. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the HP printer.
    11. Turn on the printer.

I would like to know if it is able to get the question to be resolved,

What is the difficulty that these cartridges are expensive!

    Hi @xandux,

I see by your post printing went on the right side, you tried a new cartridge and have the same results. I can help you today.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Follow the steps is this document to see if it will help resolve faded printing.

    Missing, faded or dull colors.

Print the self-test on the printer hardware to see if it's a hardware or software problem.

    What are the ink levels?

Let me know the results of the test pages of the document.

    Good day!

  • Photosmart all-in-one wireless B109n - problem with detection of the cartridges

I just bought a Photosmart all-in-one wireless B109n. implementation proceeded without problems (including printing test photo).

When I tried to use it later, he said that the cartridges were not detected.
Strange thing is that when I take one of 4 cartridges, it says that one is missing. After you have added the last of them, he says that none of them are detected.

Also, I need to re - enter the language and area whenever I turn it on. As if it's reset instead of make a cut...

    How this can be solved?

Back to the store where I got it.

They saw the same thing I had met and gave me a new without much fuzz

    The new works very well

  • 2050 all-in-one is blurred lines and feed new pages in the middle of print job

    Printer HP 2050 all-in-one

    Windows 7 Prof 64

No recent changes. Printer worked for about 1 year.

    Problem:

Some lines are unusually short and the letters are crumpled.  Printer is often a page feed for no apparent reason in the middle of a paragraph.  At first, I thought that the rollers of the printer have been problems grabbing the paper, but then I realized that it reproduces errors exactly in the same place for a given document.  Document one might offend lines 4 and 20 and line feed line 40 whenever I print that document B could online on line 4 and scunch line 35 every time I print it.

I look like a problem of software for sure.  I uninstall the software and reinstall with a new download.  Let me know what happens.

  • Leave the printer HP photosmart C5280 All in one printer, Windows XP, to printing several pages

Printer was working fine a few months ago. nothing has changed since then, except now when I tried to copy 2 or several pages on a single page/sheet of paper, I receive one copy on the half of the page. The other half is empty. I tried 4 pages on a single page, always I only have one page on 1/4 of the page.

I have uninstall and Reinstalled the software. I don't know what model do?

There, can someone help me? Of course, I would appreciate your help

Very well.  You will need make the document a two page document.  Just copy what you have on the first page and paste it on the second page.  This should make everything feel right.  You must have the number of pages to print on one page in the document before it will print.

  • HP F2280 all-in-one: F2280 Solution Center cannot run

I can't get the Solution Center to run so that I see the ink level, but I can print fine, well, I have it started printing strangely so want to first check the ink levels, but it is another question.

My laptop is a Lenovo G50, but I got it running on a previous laptop.

I went on HP website, downloaded the appropriate software and drivers with the usb cable plugged in all the time, but it came with the message:-

"HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete...". "etc.

I tried to go through the solutions already here but could not get to work or the other.

    Thanks in advance

    He sussed!

I tried to recall what (if any) I did differently between the two total uninstall and reinstall and remembered I unchecked intentionally some of the boxes of things to install on the last snack he disliked some of them for a reason-it was the opposite, if they stayed all checked, then it installed fine Open the center of Solution and print fine - PHEW.

  • C310 HP All in One: black cartridge won't print; Alignment failed

Printer works perfectly, as usual.  Rec'd notice to update the drivers of HP software; has done, and suddenly black ink does not print at all.  Done all the troubleshooting steps: test page printed. print the Diagnostics page.  Align the print cartridges.  Cleaned print heads.  Although the cartridge has shown the more partial estimated ink level, replaced by the new HP black ink cartridge.  Still not printing black ink.

Print uninstalled and reinstalled the software.  Tried everything above.  Has released a new cartridge and replaced with previous.  Also been clarified vents on both cartridges.  It is not that black ink is smudged on striated, it's as if there is no cartridge at all.  I also checked to make sure that the printer is not set to print grayscale.  It is located in the color and Normal.  Changed for the better, still nothing.

HP Print and Scan Doctor initially show all correct.  The device status is now red X: Make sure cartridges and printheads are correct or your printer.  All are genuine HP cartridges.  Now I get a message on the printer alignment failed.  Is it possible that this is related to the update printer drivers?  I have never had a printer HP fail before.  Have at least six of them.  I do not use the printer a lot it should be worn.  In addition, it printed fine until what I've updated the drivers.

Advice on what to try next? Thank you.

    Hello

The only troubleshooting steps to run is clean print head.

Make sure that you perform print head cleaning for at least 3 times.

If the problem persists, then the print head must be replaced.

You need to call HP Technical Support to get help to get the printhead replaced.

If you are in the United States, the toll free # is 1-800-474-6836.

If you're not in the United States, and then connect to www.hp.com , bottom left it is an icon of the world map, click it and then select the region that you belong to, which would then provide the support options for you for this region.
