HP Envy 5530 PSC: HP ENVY 5530 PSC will not scan and save on my desktop directly from the PSC. Help!

Help, please! My printer/scanner/copier device will scan is no longer documents if you ask the PSC analysis directly. It will scan and I would like to save the scan on my computer if I open the icon Wizard HP printer on my desktop computer and it asks from there. Nothing has changed on this computer or PSC recently and the PSC makes still copies very well.

When I request the analysis of the PSC, here is the error message that appears: "connection error. The computer does not respond. Check if the USB cable is attached or wireless is working properly, and then try again. »

Some info:

The PSC shows that it is connected to the computer and I checked the connections and everything is physically connected. I also update the PSC. The PSC is certainly connected to the internet (and without wire - the light blue, no flashing lights). I have Webroot Anywhere Secure protection for my desktop computer.

I checked the forums here and I do not see a response. Some of the help documents are dead end links so that does not help.

I'm not sure if this is a permanent solution, but finally, I finally solved this problem.  I decided to first unplug and then plug in my router. Then I unregistered and registered with Windows 10, your previous recommendation. Then I started from scratch - unplugged everything related to the CFP and also deleted the previous PSC software installed on the computer. Then I plugged in the printer and re-downloaded software. Tested to request a scan of the PSC and it worked - double checked by stop and to remit all running and I tried to request a scan of the PSC again and it worked again. So, it seemed to be a combination of renewal with Windows 10 and setting up of the PSC from scratch, to solve this, at least for me. Thanks for your patience! I don't think something regarding my download Windows 10 had something to do with mess up the signal from the PSC to the computer and I had to put fresh once again.

  • HP Envy 5532: No option to scan the document and save it as a pdf from the computer updated for Windows 10

    My computer updated 'Windows 10' I don't seem to have the ability to save a scanned as pdf document. The drop down menu does not give me option pdf.

    The default setting is 'photo' and there is no option to scan multiple pages into a single document. It's really annoying because it was fine before and I do not know how to change the settings or even if it can be changed.

  • Want 5530 printer will not align properly

    I had to change my black cartridge in my printer HP Envy 5530.  Alignment printed document, I noticed that the color cartridge should also be replaced if I interrupted the process (this may have been a bad idea) and installed a new color cartridge.  When the process is restarted, correct alignment of printed document, but when I put it on the glass in order to complete the process, alignment failed.  It appeared that the document could not be read, and I received a message about the configuration of the cartridges to 'default' all that meant.

    Then I went to copy a document (in black) and, to my surprise, it came out white.  It seemed that the alignment document could not be read.  I thought that the scanner have been damaged, but I was able to scan documents.  I was able to print, but the quality was poor.

    I tried the following without result:

    1 removed the cartridges and Redid the alignment process.

    2 unplug the printer and Redid the alignment process.

    3. reinstall the printer.

    4 Ran own process of heads and repeat the alignment.

    5 etc.

    I discover that the system copy so I used the color option.

    Remove all printer ink cartridges, and then close the door
    Remove the power cord from the printer (do not press the power button)
    Wait for 60 seconds or more, then reconnect the power cord to the
    Wait for the printer to turn completely, and then install ink cartridges
    Try printing another alignment

I tried printing via system preferences > printer and scanner, tried to remove my printer and add it again to the impression that tried to download drivers for Yosemite to find that the error in the application downloaded impression told me that airprint was not working and the scan could not be completed.     Start in safe mode by pressing f8 when you start your PC.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press return.  Once charged, try to change the area by car.  If it still does not work, try the procedure but with another another DVD zone 2 under Windows can be picky about what it accepts.  If it works, just restart your PC and Windows does not start normally.

    I have a HP Envy 17 3D laptop and I played this movie specific about this before and it worked very well but now it won't play in Media Player using the and I am wonderign, if anyone knows of any solution.

    You must get rid of Daemon Tools. It is in conflict with HP Media Smart, use virtual Clone.

    Start by creating a manual Windows restore point before dong anything so you can at least get back to where you were.

    Then type "regedit" in the search with quotes box and navigate to the MSR file and note how you arrived there.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Services > MSR.

    Thirdly, go to Device Manager and find storage controllers and develop and that there should be at least one that says Daemon Tools or Duplexsecure.

    Fourthly, uninstall Daemon Tools, I think that their site is a special tool to uninstall correctly. Restart after uninstalling DT

    Now go back and repeat the second step and make sure that the reader of the MSR is missing, if this isn't the case, you will need to start in safe mode and do a right click to remove.

    Return to step three and ensure that there is no controller storage with these names thereon. Uninstall them if they are present and restart. If there is no virtual drives in Device Manager, remove those and reboot.

    Now go to the computer and make sure that there is no current virtual disk, there should be that a single device with removable storage, and which corresponds to your BD - ROM drive and in almost all cases, he is appointed 'E', but what is important is that be the first player in the devices with removable storage.
