HP envy 700-410: made this motherboard support SLI?

Memphis-B motherboard.

Does anyone know if she has SLI support? Aka, being able to run 2 video cards at the same time down the line

I don't think, there only 1 PCI Express x 16 (Gen 3.0) slot on the motherboard.

Out of curiosity, if you where to copy the files from the external hard drive on your laptop SSD, which is the average of the writing speed? I know that this will not prove the capacity of SSDS but I just want a rough idea

Yes, there are two versions of the Board of Directors. We're with nVidia GF 630 M and the other with 650M. The 650 M using memory DDR5 but only DDR3 of 630 m there is dfferent to dual core and quad processor boards but the chipset remains the same.

  • HP ENVY 700-214: map new graphics for HP ENVY 700-214

OK, so I have a HP ENVY 700-214 (plug here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04100558 ) and I'd like to get a new graphics card that is compatible with my setup. Everything is wxactly the way I bought it. I want a graphics card that will be easy to install, but also the best in the price range of 200 to 350 dollars. Ive been looking around, but don't can't find anything that tells me what I want to know. Thank you for your time, any input would be apreciated.

    @DudeSame, welcome to the forum.

This is a great little video card that will fit easily in your case and give you good performance.  However, you need to check to see if power supply (PSU) in the computer unit has a connector 6 extra pins.  Most maps in the price range you want to require at least a connector, 6 or 8 pins or both.  At present, it is out of stock.  You may be able to find an another etailer.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.

  • Add memory to HP ENVY 700-210xt 1.35v or 1.5V?

I intend to add a second module of 8 GB of RAM, and see that the module is already installed by HP is a Hynix CL11 1.35v module.

This motherboard supported 1.35v, or it delivers 1.5V independently?  So it is worth trying to find 1.35v RAM to match the existing RAM?   Which will help performance if the jury is really keep the tension?

My understanding is that if I add a second module and it is 1.5V, then the memory will operate at 1.5V.  Probably not an issue since I don't plan to overclock the CPU.   But just check

    Thnaks for any advice.

If the module of memory installed is a Hynix CL11 1.35v module, then you will need to find an absolutely identical memory module to update. Otherwise, you take a risk of your PC does not start after the POST (power on self test). If the MESSAGE fails while the PC does not start in Windows. Upgrade memory by matching the card can only be a financial bet.

If you are unable to find an identical memory module, then remove the installed module and install a pair of guaranteed compatible memory modules.  It is the only way to update without problem. Use of well-known brands such as Kingston, Crucial, Corsair.  Memory of well-known brand manufacturers guarantee that their modules will work as long as you use the memory configuration utilities to identify what will work in your PC.

  • Lenovo Ideapad Y500A does support SLI?

I really want to understand if this model supports SLI? I mean not integrated double 2x2gb but with different optical drive. I mean 2 GB PC and 2 GB with optical drive. I'll connect and tell me if its support SLI. Thank you!!!

    http://www.Varle.lt/nesiojami-Kompiuteriai/nesiojami-Kompiuteriai/Lenovo-IdeaPad-y500a-I7-3630qm-4GB...

It gives... Memory card: 2x2gb GDDR5, dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M graphics

The Y500 comes with a second 650 M in the optical drive. This means a few things

    1. you will not have a DVD/CD player to use on the laptop (you can always buy an external)

    2. your laptop graphics and power games will be about 1.5 x as having 1 graphics card

    3. you will have 4 GB memory graphics, 2 GB of the here already to 650 m and 2 GB of 650 m, into the ultrabay slot

    Hello

I am looking to update my graphics card between a GeForce GT 635 a 960 GeForce GTX amp.

I was wondering if my computer would be able to support it, and if the card would fit well inside?

    My computer specs:

    HP Envy 700-249

    Intel Core i7-4770

    CPU @ 3.40 GHz

    12 GB of Ram

    Power: 460 W

    Thank you

    Mitchell

    Greetings,

Your PC BIOS will support the map.

You need a 6 connection pins on the map.

The card is a double slot and 9.5 inches in length. Check your turn measures and make sure that you can install a card double slot.

The food is fine, as long as you have a connection to pine trees six or eight available.

    NVIDIA provides an adapter.

Disable secure boot. Enable legacy start.

    See you soon!

  • HP Envy 700-470na: changing the case of the HP Envy 700-470na.

Today, I upgraded my PSU and GPU for my HP Envy 700-470na. The case for my PC is too small and I can barely sort out the cables.

If someone can recommend a decent case that is less than £50, can put all the pieces of pc HP in the case like the motherboard, hard drive etc and lots of space for the circulation of air and cables. Who would be appreciated! Thank you. I hope that my problem can be resolved soon.

    PSU - Corsair CX600M
    GPU - EVGA GTX 970

The form factor for the motherboard is: Μatx: 24.4 cm (9.6 inches) x 24.4 cm (9.6 inches).  You must buy a case that is made for this.  This means that the accessory in the case must match the holes in the motherboard.  HP has their mothers caught their specifactions cards.  So, they can be standard.  In addition, the connectors in the case may not match the connectors on the motherboard.  The front connector for the power button is the one who comes to mind.  It is very difficult to recommend a case that is certain to work.  You can find the case you like and contact the manufacturer for Technical Support to see if they can make sure it will work for your components.

  • Update graphics card on HP Envy 700

I recently bought a HP Envy 700 computer, try to use it as our central entertainment PC, only to find out that the HDMI output spit only 2.0 sounds while I need a 5.1 surround sound.

Did some research and found that the video cards only newer and more fanciful have this function.   Bought a Radeon R7 260 X Video Card plugged in, but the motherboard would not recoganize it.

Then I realized that it is possible that the motherboard (IPM87-MP by Pegatron) is not compatible with the video card, or maybe because the 450W power supply is not enough.

I would be highly appreciated if the PC experts could advise on how I can make it work.

    Thank you!

    Hello:

On the PCs come with Windows 8, you will need to change 2 BIOS settings in order to use a video card no HP in your machine.

Please see the info on the link below and I hope that's it, that is.

  • HP Envy 700-215XT: it fits?

Hello, I bought a HP ENVY 700-215XT HP recently. I'm a PC gamer, so I want to change my graphics card to a gigabyte g1 gtx 970, my most important question, will she made? Is it compatible?

    Hello

your first concern should be a diet... the gtx 970 has a suggested minimum power of 500w... yours is an OEM 300 w without external power connectors... first get a PSU w 600 or 650

come to the part of editing, the card is a 10.5 inch... your motherboard is a 9.6 * 9.6 and therefore the 970 will cover the length of your mobo... it's not a problem, but if there's a huge mangle of son in your pc then tie up carefully or get a modular PSU... result is, it will fit but make sure the inside is not crowded then the card can heat too

Compatibility depends on your bios... .the 970 requires UEFI BIOS to run and your pc stand so no worries there

    Hope this helps
